Continental breakfast and snacks were greatly appreciated. Place was very comfortable to stay at. House is a nice mix of very old with very new, which can be intriguing, confusing, or even scary for some (lol for those who watch too many movies). Some suggestions: Although was nice to have Amazon Fire TV, would also be great to have local OTA TV. This could be done simply by adding an HDTV antenna that can be bought on Amazon. I've done this at home and can receive many channels in high def, for free! Front door was reportedly left unlocked. Although there are clear and easy instructions for unlocking the automatic door locks, it would be good to also include instructions on how to lock them from the outside, as well as the expected behavior of these locks (ie. the locks will automatically lock after how many seconds, what LED light colors to expect (red locked, green unlocked) error lights and beeps, etc. A lot of the floorboards are creaky. Would be nice to get these screwed down or fixed in a way to make them quiet, so less likely to disturb others that are sleeping.

Inn on Fox Meadow is an old Victorian house with several individual guest rooms upstairs, and a kitchen and living room downstairs. The mattress was modern and comfy, the rest of the furniture is antique and charming. The kitchen has fresh fruit, milk, bread, and other supplies to make your own breakfast. I had a delightful one-night stay.

The Inn on Fox Meadow is a cute B&B. I enjoyed my stay. The door painted in the kitchen was lovely; and the dog stained glass window was fun. The sitting area was attractive and appropriately antique. I could hear the nearby train from my room, but still had a good night’s sleep. All necessary info is emailed, which was helpful.

Private house with rooms. there is a kitchen that can be used. Reasonable price, local station is about 10 mis walk, Metro about 20 min drive. Plenty of places to eat within 15 mins walk. Would use again

Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Listing and No Accountability I booked a full week at The Inn at Fox Meadow through Expedia, but never stayed a single night due to the condition of the property. After arriving late at night from an international flight, I found trash in the stairwell, an open room nearby with clothes all over the floor, and my assigned room — located in a hot, dirty attic — was nothing like what was shown online. I called the manager immediately and left a message, but received no response. I had to leave and book a nearby DoubleTree just to have a clean, safe place to sleep. Expedia contacted the manager on my behalf for a refund, but he refused. He later called me personally, was rude, and insisted he wouldn’t refund me “a dime.” I’m 76 years old and was not informed the room would require climbing three flights of stairs, which was not clearly disclosed on the site. I now understand why they don’t have a front desk or allow people to view rooms beforehand. This experience was stressful, costly, and completely unfair. Much more self-service than expected. Nice older building in a lovely residential area. We’re pretty low-maintenance, but the room wasn’t as clean as it could/should be, and the owners expressed that some needed repairs were known but still weren’t addressed until midway through the stay. We believe the turnaround time from prior guests must have not been enough to address them. Overall, there is potential in the place, just wasn’t as we expected.

Room was very clean and owner was very kind and hospitable. He told my daughter and i the history of the house and even gave us extra snacks for her because we told him she had a soccer tournament all weekend. I would go backdefinitely recommend

This is a 1896 home complete with furnishings appropriate to the time only a few blocks off 355 in lovely neighborhood. Everything worked, bed was comfortable, room was large even spacious. Bathroom was cramped, but adequate. Breakfast was continental traditional, but with cereal milk, good bread and yogurt, one can consume sufficient protein for the morning activities. We will no doubt return on our next trip to DC.

The Inn on Fox Meadow is a cute B&B. I enjoyed my stay. The door painted in the kitchen was lovely; and the dog stained glass window was fun. The sitting area was attractive and appropriately antique. I could hear the nearby train from my room, but still had a good night’s sleep. All necessary info is emailed, which was helpful.

I called the manager immediately and left a message, but received no response. I had to leave and book a nearby DoubleTree just to have a clean, safe place to sleep. Expedia contacted the manager on my behalf for a refund, but he refused. He later called me personally, was rude, and insisted he wouldn’t refund me “a dime.” I’m 76 years old and was not informed the room would require climbing three flights of stairs, which was not clearly disclosed on the site. I now understand why they don’t have a front desk or allow people to view rooms beforehand. This experience was stressful, costly, and completely unfair. Expedia should reconsider listing properties that treat guests this way. I would never recommend this place.

Lovely home and good location, but more like a communal air b&b than a bed and breakfast. There are items made available for you to have or cook, & then clean up yourself. Shared kitchen with everything you need.

The Inn on Fox Meadow is a cute B&B. I enjoyed my stay. The door painted in the kitchen was lovely; and the dog stained glass window was fun. The sitting area was attractive and appropriately antique. I could hear the nearby train from my room, but still had a good night’s sleep. All necessary info is emailed, which was helpful.

Much more self-service than expected. Nice older building in a lovely residential area. We’re pretty low-maintenance, but the room wasn’t as clean as it could/should be, and the owners expressed that some needed repairs were known but still weren’t addressed until midway through the stay. We believe the turnaround time from prior guests must have not been enough to address them. Overall, there is potential in the place, just wasn’t as we expected.

Private house with rooms. there is a kitchen that can be used. Reasonable price, local station is about 10 mis walk, Metro about 20 min drive. Plenty of places to eat within 15 mins walk. Would use again

Continental breakfast and snacks were greatly appreciated. Place was very comfortable to stay at. House is a nice mix of very old with very new, which can be intriguing, confusing, or even scary for some (lol for those who watch too many movies). Some suggestions: Although was nice to have Amazon Fire TV, would also be great to have local OTA TV. This could be done simply by adding an HDTV antenna that can be bought on Amazon. I've done this at home and can receive many channels in high def, for free! Front door was reportedly left unlocked. Although there are clear and easy instructions for unlocking the automatic door locks, it would be good to also include instructions on how to lock them from the outside, as well as the expected behavior of these locks (ie. the locks will automatically lock after how many seconds, what LED light colors to expect (red locked, green unlocked) error lights and beeps, etc. A lot of the floorboards are creaky. Would be nice to get these screwed down or fixed in a way to make them quiet, so less likely to disturb others that are sleeping.

Inn on Fox Meadow is an old Victorian house with several individual guest rooms upstairs, and a kitchen and living room downstairs. The mattress was modern and comfy, the rest of the furniture is antique and charming. The kitchen has fresh fruit, milk, bread, and other supplies to make your own breakfast. I had a delightful one-night stay.

This is a 1896 home complete with furnishings appropriate to the time only a few blocks off 355 in lovely neighborhood. Everything worked, bed was comfortable, room was large even spacious. Bathroom was cramped, but adequate. Breakfast was continental traditional, but with cereal milk, good bread and yogurt, one can consume sufficient protein for the morning activities. We will no doubt return on our next trip to DC.

Lovely, clean, comfortable room in a beautiful Victorian house. Nice continental breakfast provided. Owners very responsive to questions and needs. Easy self-check in/check-out. Great value for the price, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Room was very clean and owner was very kind and hospitable. He told my daughter and i the history of the house and even gave us extra snacks for her because we told him she had a soccer tournament all weekend. I would go backdefinitely recommend

Pros: House is a charming historic property. Room was spacious. Sunroom was nice. Bed was comfortable. Cons: Staff was gone while we were there. There was no breakfast to speak of - a piece of hard bread and a couple of rotten bananas. The property’s washer is in the guest room and was running while we were there - very strange.

I would NOT recommend this place. After booking this place, I called their front desk multiple times so I could confirm my reservation and my calls kept going into some voice message. I should have known that something was off. But still I decided to ignore all that and went there the day I was supposed to check in so I could check in but the place looked unkempt and I was too scared to go in. So I left and went to stay in another hotel. Definitely will not recommend this place. For it to look like a place someone would stay, the owners need to give it a complete make over which it deserves.

This is a beautiful old house, with lovely clean rooms. If mobility is an issue, find a Hotel with an elevator- you need to be able ro do some stairs here.

Clean, quiet, and comfy! We spent a quick night in the Rose Room while passing through and would gladly stay again. Breakfast options included yogurt, fruit, croissants and other bread items, cereal, tea, coffee.

Everything was as described. My room was clean, cozy, and lots of room to walk around up to three people could have been accommodated and It has its own private bath which is a ++ for me. Shared kitchen always clean, refrigerator and microwave available. It is a continental breakfast but you serve yourself from food items kept in a designated area, they are not laid out for you in the mornings but readily available. All the rooms are a walk-up no elevators. Would definitely stay here again!
