CABN Hahndorf

Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend.

CABN Hahndorf is a beautiful concept and offers a peaceful escape in the Adelaide Hills. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, private, and perfect for a short digital-detox style getaway. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was fantastic, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and good quality—although the cabin bed could have been a little warmer, especially on cooler nights. One minor issue was the window fly wire screen kept falling on us so we had to temporarily jam it with paper towel. At the premium price point, however, a few additional touches would elevate the experience and make it feel like better value. Small inclusions such as a welcome hamper with local Adelaide Hills produce, fresh milk, or a few complimentary snacks would make a nice difference. Thoughtful extras like plush robes, locally made toiletries, or a short guide highlighting nearby wineries, walks, and local spots would also enhance the stay. Overall, it’s a lovely and relaxing experience, but a few extra touches would make it feel truly premium.

Amazing facility

Had a lovely night at CABN...the kitchenette while small was enough to cook dinner and then the stools and shelf-style table gave us a chance to eat while looking out at nature. The bed was comfy (tricky has one person did have to climb over the other to get out) but AC was super efficient for our 45 degree day and the shower was warm and had plenty of water pressure. And waking up to kangaroos in the front of our cabin was neat!

Again absolutely amazing. Always enjoy staying with CABN. Such an awesome place
