For the price point we were expecting more, especially coming from The Parkside Hotel, Victoria, which was excellent and only a few dollars more. Parking was free but very tight and difficult to turn on a busy road. The bed had an iron frame and was noisy when turning at night. There were only blinds in the bedroom and in early July it was bright in the room from about 4:30 AM on. (A good curtain would take care of this.) There was only a small, inadequate table on one side only of the bed. On arrival, we discovered that we had to go to a nearby hotel to check in. For some reason we had not received this instruction. In short, we enjoyed Qualicum Beach but were disappointed, for the money it cost us, with the accommodation.

located on the beach, great for watching sunsets or a cruise ship passing by or just relaxing. Quant town for meals or shopping local artists. The suites are run more like a Airbnb with limited housekeeping and occupant needs to complete check out list prior to departure; empty garbage, run diswasher, used towels in bathtub etc.
