I stayed in the one bedroom suite, and was woken up to what sounded like furniture being moved right above my head at 6:30am. The noise from the suite above was really loud. There were no privacy curtains, just thick curtains so you couldn’t have privacy without blocking out all the natural light. And the sliding glass doors with the ocean view were streaky and foggy, obstructing the view. Also the suites aren’t connected to the inn, so you have to walk or drive to use the pool and fitness amenities.

This location does not have the pool, hot tub and sauna at its location. This was highly disappointing to us, as we wanted those amenities. The listing states that this is available,but the pool, hot tub and sauna are a 2 minute drive from the suites. This is not convenient or desirable at all and should not be listed as an amenity for this location. We did not want to get into our car to drive to use these facilities. We were extremely disappointed to not be able to experience what they show on the website.

For the price point we were expecting more, especially coming from The Parkside Hotel, Victoria, which was excellent and only a few dollars more. Parking was free but very tight and difficult to turn on a busy road. The bed had an iron frame and was noisy when turning at night. There were only blinds in the bedroom and in early July it was bright in the room from about 4:30 AM on. (A good curtain would take care of this.) There was only a small, inadequate table on one side only of the bed. On arrival, we discovered that we had to go to a nearby hotel to check in. For some reason we had not received this instruction. In short, we enjoyed Qualicum Beach but were disappointed, for the money it cost us, with the accommodation.

Great place to stay, we had the 2 bedroom ocean front suite and it was amazing! Fire pits to use on property as well as bbq. All beachfront. Great location
