This cottage checked all the boxes for comfort, cleaniness, location to Foxwoods, friendly and helpful hosts. Open kitchen 24/7 self serve breakfast. Beds are so comfortable with private bathroom and shower. The property overlooks the vineyard, pond and lake. We definitely stay again.

This quaint, historic cottage is just minutes away from all the action around the casinos. Adventuring to nearby Newport, RI is only an hour or so away - Mystic, CT is even closer. Instructions were provided personally by the host upon our arrival, and the room was perfect for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom so clean, and the in-room air/heating unit made it nice and cozy. The host has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, from restaurant recommendations to having popcorn on hand for a late-night snack. Coffee and continental breakfast items were stocked for our convenience as well as water bottles for heading out the door. The house was quiet even when full of guests, and the winery (in progress) will be lovely to enjoy once it's complete. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice property on a vineyard. The view is pretty, especially from the 2 rooms upstairs looking over the back. Rooms are small, if you want to socialize with others in your party you will need to use shared inside/outside space. All very comfortable ... but not private. Also, stairs to rooms upstairs are STEEP and flooring a bit unpredicatable ... so those with mobility issues should be careful. Kitchen/coffee/foodstorage facities really nice and convenient.

This cottage was a nice find and a lesser expensive alternative to staying at the casino hotels. Upon our arrival my wife and I were greeted by the property owners who showed us to our room and explained the amenities. Our room was on the first floor. It was clean spacious and cozy. Also located on the first floor is a sitting room with 2 sofas and 2 chair, a full size kitchen table and kitchen. This is a common area for all the guest to use. The refrigerator is stocked with milk, orange juice, coffee creamer, water and bagels. There is a Keurig coffee machine and plenty of k-cups for everyone. There are also an assortment of tea bags and breakfast items. Off the back side of the house is a patio set with seating for 6, a gas grill, and some adirondack chairs overlooking the property. A winery and micro brewery are on the property and a short walk away and will be opening in the summer 2025. Overall it was a enjoyable stay. It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay there again.

False advertisement of amenities on property. Winery was not allowed to sell wine yet. No license. Owner says they had 6000 bottles of wine but not allowed to sell it yet. Property amenities not complete in regards to decking, lake access port, no access to a beach. Beach in fact is non existent. They advertise as a bed and breakfast but only offered protein bars and box cereal. No fire pits available besides one broken brick pit. Overall was pure definition of false advertisement.

We stayed 2 nights for Phish at Mohegan Sun. Easy 15min ride. Easy parking, great location. Stayed in room #4 which is right off the kitchen. Can get a little noisy in the morning if there is a full house but the amazing king sized bed made up for it. Nice sized bathroom. Very clean, cute space. Help yourself bagels, coffee and some cereal in the kitchen and can bring own food to cook. Beautiful setting on a small vineyard with a clean lake just a short walk from the house. Will stay again!

What a beautiful property! Adorable home, with beautiful grounds. Stopped kitchen with coffee, tea, water, milk, orange juice. Bagels, pastries, cereal, oatmeal. The room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the king room overlooking the lake and it was stunning! Short drive over to Mohegan Sun. Perfect for our little overnight adventure. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was cozy and very comfortable. The common areas were very clean and well equipped with anything we could have needed. The view of the vineyard and lake was beautiful especially on a warm fall day.

We had a great stay at The cottage. If you’re looking for some peace and tranquility before and after being over stimulated at the casino this is the place to stay. Super convenient, very clean, rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. John and Lenny have a done a great job making you feel very welcome and comfortable in 200 year old home. Which in its self is pretty cool. How often do you get to stay in a home that old. Oh the stories the walls could tell, if only they could talk!! We highly recommend and we will be staying here again. Thank you John and Lenny. Looking forward to trying some wine and beer next time!!

We were greeted by host as soon as well drove in. The place was clean, smelled clean. I wish we had more time to explore the grounds. Very close to Foxwoods. The bed was great, comfy. Definitely will be back.

This property was definitely a beautiful spot! Great outdoor area, great services, owner was there to greet us. My only downside to it is you could gear a pin drop, you can hear every conversation in every room. Walls definitely need sound proofing. Otherwise this property is a “10”!

We had a great stay at The cottage. If you’re looking for some peace and tranquility before and after being over stimulated at the casino this is the place to stay. Super convenient, very clean, rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. John and Lenny have a done a great job making you feel very welcome and comfortable in 200 year old home. We had an amazing stay. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was cozy and very comfortable. The common areas were very clean and well equipped with anything we could have needed. The view of the vineyard and lake was beautiful especially on a warm fall day.

The Cottage is adorable and Lenny and John are the best hosts. The room was clean and the bed was SO comfortable. Definitely will be back! It’s the perfect spot for a couples getaway and a night at the casino

This cottage was a nice find and a lesser expensive alternative to staying at the casino hotels. Upon our arrival my wife and I were greeted by the property owners who showed us to our room and explained the amenities. Our room was on the first floor. It was clean spacious and cozy. Also located on the first floor is a sitting room with 2 sofas and 2 chair, a full size kitchen table and kitchen. This is a common area for all the guest to use. The refrigerator is stocked with milk, orange juice, coffee creamer, water and bagels. There is a Keurig coffee machine and plenty of k-cups for everyone. There are also an assortment of tea bags and breakfast items. Off the back side of the house is a patio set with seating for 6, a gas grill, and some adirondack chairs overlooking the property. A winery and micro brewery are on the property and a short walk away and will be opening in the summer 2025. Overall it was a enjoyable stay. It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights for Phish at Mohegan Sun. Easy 15min ride. Easy parking, great location. Stayed in room #4 which is right off the kitchen. Can get a little noisy in the morning if there is a full house but the amazing king sized bed made up for it. Nice sized bathroom. Very clean, cute space. Help yourself bagels, coffee and some cereal in the kitchen and can bring own food to cook. Beautiful setting on a small vineyard with a clean lake just a short walk from the house. Will stay again!

This cottage checked all the boxes for comfort, cleaniness, location to Foxwoods, friendly and helpful hosts. Open kitchen 24/7 self serve breakfast. Beds are so comfortable with private bathroom and shower. The property overlooks the vineyard, pond and lake. We definitely stay again.

This quaint, historic cottage is just minutes away from all the action around the casinos. Adventuring to nearby Newport, RI is only an hour or so away - Mystic, CT is even closer. Instructions were provided personally by the host upon our arrival, and the room was perfect for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom so clean, and the in-room air/heating unit made it nice and cozy. The host has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, from restaurant recommendations to having popcorn on hand for a late-night snack. Coffee and continental breakfast items were stocked for our convenience as well as water bottles for heading out the door. The house was quiet even when full of guests, and the winery (in progress) will be lovely to enjoy once it's complete. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice property on a vineyard. The view is pretty, especially from the 2 rooms upstairs looking over the back. Rooms are small, if you want to socialize with others in your party you will need to use shared inside/outside space. All very comfortable ... but not private. Also, stairs to rooms upstairs are STEEP and flooring a bit unpredicatable ... so those with mobility issues should be careful. Kitchen/coffee/foodstorage facities really nice and convenient.

False advertisement of amenities on property. Winery was not allowed to sell wine yet. No license. Owner says they had 6000 bottles of wine but not allowed to sell it yet. Property amenities not complete in regards to decking, lake access port, no access to a beach. Beach in fact is non existent. They advertise as a bed and breakfast but only offered protein bars and box cereal. No fire pits available besides one broken brick pit. Overall was pure definition of false advertisement.

I needed accommodations near a family event. This was perfect. The hosts had excellent instructions and I was met on arrival. The host made sure I understood how the front door and private room door codes work and helped me to connect to internet. There is a communal kitchen and living room. Kitchen was stocked with bananas, milk, juice, espresso, bagels, cereals, cream cheese, and water bottles (just to name a few items). The cottage is at a high point on the property, so the host pointed out the path to the pond and to the lake. Wish I’d had more time to just enjoy the beautiful property. Temp control was great, host showed me how to adjust it. The bed was large and comfortable. The TV was great. I accessed my Apple TV on it. The water pressure in the shower was great. I’d left my phone charger and just a few miles away had a call from the host so I was able to circle back for it. I would definitely choose to visit again. This was August. CT is gorgeous any season, autumn colors, stark winter, and spring flowers. August was lush greenery, really perfect summer location.

This place was perfect for a 6 night stay. Clean and quiet. Beautiful grounds. We so wished that the winery was already open, but the vines were beautiful to look at while enjoying the complimentary breakfast. Lenny was so kind and fun to talk to. John made sure to let us know of all the local events. We could not be happier and looking forward to a return soon.

The property is in excellent condition on a hill overlooking a vineyard and lake. The room had a private bathroom. The well equipped kitchen and living room are shared space. Breakfast was self serve with a variety of options. We experienced a power failure, due to an auto accident, and our host immediately responded via phone and text to get information from the electric company. It will be interesting to see again when the vineyard is running.
