Close to a number of metro stations. Lots of food choices in the area. The rooms are small but that's to be expected for the price point. The building is on the older side but kept clean. Laundry facilities are a bonus.

A good find, great option for Tokyo in an area that is not too crowded, on the train line and more of a neighborhood. The staff were polite and the facility well kept. Nice to have some free coffee in the morning and start your Tokyo exploration!

They have a microwave that you can use for any meals, and they also have shaving kits, shaving gel, combs, hair ties, in little little packets near the lobby for your use. This is in addition to the body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, and mini toothpaste, that they have in each of the rooms. Staff were friendly, professional, and polite. Asking for two extra pillows and an extra blanket was no trouble at all.

I have been staying at this hotel for the 8 times i have travelled to Tokyo. They are in a good location and they are cheap. They have a coin laundry so i dont have to pack a lot of clothes as i can wash them there. There is good travel routes with a small walk to Bakuro Yohohama station which will get you direct to Shinjuku in about 20 mins or a 5 min train ride or 15 min walk to Akihabara. The area around the hotel is full of culture and amazing places to eat however it does have a few issues. The beds are hard and noisy, the walls are a bit thin so you can near the snorers next door and the rooms are small however as someone who is 6 foot 3 i found the beds are longer then my bed at home so i was able to fit in the bed. In the end this is my hotel of choice, It is a little out of the way but to me thats the charm of it.

Small rooms as you should expect from Tokyo but microwave at the reception and everything you need

昔ながらのビジネスホテル。鍵はカードキーではなく、外出時もフロントに預ける形式。フロントは24時間対応なので困ることはなかった。コンビニや吉野家もすぐ近くで便利です。

The staff were very accommodating to my late arrival onto the property. For the most part it seems like they have someone at the desk or in the back office at all given hours which is extremely helpful. Most of the staff here speak some English, and are very friendly. The room i was in was a decent size for a hotel room in Tokyo, and the bathroom was the typical unit bath you can expect in almost every hotel in Japan. The area surrounding the hotel has great food and drinking options, especially if you decide to travel to Ningyocho, which is extremely close as well. There is also laundry on the premises, however if you need larger machines you will find them nearby with a google search.

Perfect spot for a solo traveller. Staff are kind and helpful. Basic amenities are provided with free coffee in the morning. Loved staying there.

The place is convenient, like every corner have train station and convenient store. Japan alone is safe place to visit and so clean, the only thing I can comment to Horidome villa is to vacuum the room well and wipe the tables as it accumulated lots of dust, but overall is great, service and people so nice and helpful and will certainly recommend this place.

Firstly I hate being the person who complains but if I’m honest in the 6 weeks I’ve travelled in Japan over the last 2 years this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Firstly, there was a broken hanger and pair of slippers left behind from the previous person, the fridge didn’t work, even on the lowest setting everything kept freezing so I couldn’t use it to how I would have wanted to. The bathroom was also covered in mold. The tile, the tub, the shower curtain. I always travel with Lysol wipes for my phone and I’m glad I did because I just ended up cleaning everything myself instead of going through the hassle of navigating the language barrier for something like this. Also, since the windows didn’t open, even though it was a non smoking room the ventilation for the building was so I would be smoked out in my room and had to counter it with the fan and freshener spray provided in the lobby. I was there for 9 days and I would say for the price in a pinch it would be fine for a day or two. The laundry was convenient with free detergent which was a bonus and the staff was kind (I forgot my key in the door since they are physical keys and had to call the front desk with my limited Japanese and they were great for that! Super kind) but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I also witnessed on one of my last nights a couple confronting the front desk with a pillow that was “smelly and unacceptable” so I know my room isn’t just a one off.

The hotel is a bit dated and has very thin walls. I could hear people talking and and snoring in different rooms.

The hotel had a good price and location. The room was quite small but had everything you need. The fridge made some noise, and the bed was quite firm. But it worked well for a couple of nights.

Super endroit si vous aimez la tranquillité. Endroit propre et situé pas trop loin des transports en commun. Seul point à considérer c’est que les chambres sont très petites.

Overall pretty good experience. However, the lack of sound insulation did bother me as I can clearly hear someone snoring.

Algo positivo es que el hotel está en un punto céntrico para poder llegar más rápido a otros lugares. Como punto negativo: la cama demasiado pequeña en comparación con otro hoteles que he estado en Tokio, y el aire acondicionado debajo del cabezal no dejaba consolidar el sueño. También como algo negativo: es que necesitabamos un taxi o furgoneta para ir al aeropuerto, a la mañana antes del check out nos comentó un trabajar que si podrían llamar al taxi, y a la tarde cuando nos teníamos que ir, les comentamos a los trabajadores si podrían llamar a un taxi y nos dijeron que teníamos que llamar nosotros, que no teníamos línea en Japón. Así que no recibimos ayuda por esa parte

You get what you pay for - very small units with very little amenities at a very affordable rate. Unit was fine overall, beds were hard and a bit noisy but I was very happy with the air conditioning unit and clean bathroom. Property itself was a little worn down but that doesn't really matter if you're paying these rates. Staff were kind and helpful. Location was very quiet and safe as it is quite far from busy, popular areas; walking distance to a couple of different subway stations/lines. Various cafes in the area to choose from for breakfast and other dining options.

our stay here was pleasant, the room was cleaning and we were rarely disturbed by any noise. there was a fridge and robes provided in the room which were useful, however the size of the room was quite small - we struggled to open our big cases! this was fine for the 4 nights we spent here, as we spent most of our time out seeing the city, but if you plan to spend some more time in your hotel room this might not be ideal :)

The staff was so nice to let me check in at 9am instead of 3pm because I had luggage that I didn’t want to drag around the city. Clean room, fully equipped. Walkable to family mart, 7-eleven and train.

設備はやや古くなってきているものの、清掃も行き届いており、心地よく過ごせました。 フロントスタッフにもう少し愛想があれば良かった。忙しいから無理かもしれませんが…

This isn't the first time I've stayed here and when it comes within my budget, I'll always stay here. The staff are great. Very helpful and I always greet them when I return from being out. My Japanese is only little so I try my best to talk to staff in Japanese when I can but they are helpful in terms of pronouncing something wrong, they'd correct me and it helps brush up on my speaking ability. In terms of rooms, I don't really have any issues with the rooms and my stays aren't short either. There is one thing I do want to point out this time though, I had room 412 and the door knob is a bit stiff to turn to get into the room but other than that, it's always a joyful experience being there. There's a few convenient stores about, Family Mart is right next to the hotel with a restaurant, 7-11 is a cross the road a long with a Caffe Volece. In terms of travel, Kodemmacho station isn't far away if you want to get to Akihabara or even other places from there, Ningyocho station with connections to Asakusa, Haneda and Narita airports, Bakurocho station is a bit of a walk but it's on the Shinjuku line if you wanted to get to there quick. Other than that, the hotel is in a great place, staff are great and I've enjoyed it every time I stay there.

Near subway lines. Near heart of Tokyo so alot of places are walkable too.

I've been to this hotel multiple times when I come to Japan. Never had any problems and staff have always been helpful, might be a slight language barrier from time to time but you can easily get through it smoothly. Because of the amount of time I stay here, I feel like I live here temporarily because the staff know who I am and my room number most of the time that my key is already prepared for when I return. (You have a key, you drop it off at the desk when you leave and when you come back, you ask for your key to your room, there's no card entry at this time of review). Like most rooms you stay at in Japan, especially in the city and at this price range, the rooms are standard size. Enough space to move around with a comfortable bed and a private bathroom, if you to expect something bigger, you would have to pay more money but if you are only here temporary, this is decent enough. Save that extra money for exploring. tl;dr; the hotel is good, the staff are nice and friendly, the rooms are standard size but that's to be expected at this price and the location is decent between two train stations, Ningyocho being on the line for Haneda and Narita airports.

It is close to many different lines which is a great advantage. It is in a more calm neighborhood with a lot of hotels.

Proche de trois stations qui deservent tres bien tout tokyo, ligne direct depuis haneda en 50min. Restaurants et supérettes au pied de l'hotel. Personel charmant parlant bien anglais. Chambre à l’essentiel mais amplement suffisante. Tres bon rapport services/prix. En couple pour du tourisme, cela fait deux fois que nous réservons ici.

The hotel is a little old and the rooms are small. But the cleaners are excellent and the front desk is friendly. The area has some great eating options and it's got a local vibe. You can walk to the Nihonbashi from here.

El lugar está muy céntrico, rodeado de estaciones de tren y metro, muy cerca de zonas exclusivas de Tokio y cerca de zonas turísticas. Muy tranquilo, instalación en buen estado, limpio, y hay cafe y te. Los cuartos son pequeños pero cómodos para llegar a dormir. La bañera es de buen tamaño. La cama es un poco dura pero tampoco te deja descansar.
