This bungalow is as charming as the town! It sits back in beautifully landscaped gardens with fountains, hammocks, and of course, rocking chairs. The bungalow even has its own cozy porch with a porch swing, rocking chairs and table. It's perfect for reading or enjoying your morning coffee. Inside the bungalow, you will be swept away in a tastefully decorated nautical dream. The attention to detail is outstanding, with flags and a rope banister tied with boating knots. The hosts, Clara and Dave, are wonderful! They are friendly, helpful, and full of Beaufort history. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning as soon as we can.

My husband and I needed a few days to get away. This cottage was the perfect place. Very quiet with an awesome outdoor space. We loved meeting Dave and Clara. By far the best host we have ever had. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back. Thanks Dave and Clara for a weekend to remember.

Upon driving up, Clara and Dave welcomed us with open arms and warm smiles. Immediately we felt like honored guests and even allowed our children to feed the fish which was their favorite pastime! The outside space was gorgeous with swings, Edison lights, water features, and the sounds of southern south. Inside was welcoming and quaint with all the features you could need along with the well-fitting nautical decor. We loved it and cannot wait to come back!

Everything about this property was wonderful. The cottage is private and so cute! Very clean and roomy for a studio with a loft. We never felt crowded. It’s close enough to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping downtown has to offer, yet tucked away in a beautifully maintained garden that feels peaceful and secluded. The shade from the old, outstretched live oak branches created such a relaxing atmosphere.You can tell the hosts are truly passionate about providing a great experience. So many thoughtful details were taken care of, allowing our family to simply unwind and enjoy. And really—isn’t that what it’s all about?

We throughly enjoyed our weekend at the bungalow. It was impeccably clean and we had plenty of space for my husband and two boys. The outdoor area was beautiful with plenty of seating. It is close to shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the lights and noise. We found it an easy walk by the water to downtown, but if you want to drive it would only take a couple of minutes. Dave and Clara were great and so friendly and patient with our boys. Highly recommend!

Wonderful bungalow. Exactly what we needed for our stay. Clean, comfortable beds. Just a nice place and met all our needs! Got regular emails from the owners with suggestions on where to eat and activities - so appreciated! I wouldn't hesitate to rent this place again.

My husband and I stayed in Dave and Clara's Beaufort Bungalow April 24-27. The Bungalow was exactly as pictured and was absolutely adorable. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the Bungalow. I Loved the Front porch, there was a sitting area for coffee/meals, as well as a swing. Dave and Clara have done a wonderful job creating a warm and welcoming getaway. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Dave and Clara for creating such a charming getaway for others to enjoy.

The Bungalow is just perfect. Charming, very very clean, well stocked, well located, comfortable and private. Easy to access. Communication from the hosts was outstanding and thoughtful. We didn’t get to meet them in person but from reading the guest book, those that have met them can’t say enough about how wonderful they are. We look forward to going back!

The bungalow was great. Perfect size for our family of 4. Our kids loved the loft area. Property is well maintained and clean. Very convient location as it is only about a mile from the downtown area. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Bed is very comfortable cottage is bright and spacious. Very walkable to downtown for shopping and restaurants or walking along the water. Owners are wonderful and accommodating. This bungalow was perfect for the three of us, and just a block away from the water. The courtyard was just stunning and full of life - a lovely place to relax with a book. Dave and Clara were friendly hosts and happy to provide great information about the area. The horses make frequent appearances just across the water. We loved our stay!

We loved Beaufort and this is the perfect property to explore from. A great oasis close to everything but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Cute little bungalow in a great location near downtown Beaufort. Part of the city including our property lost power my first night in town and Dave was very helpful in providing flash lights and making sure I was settled, which seems emblematic of how they are as hosts. There were a lot of resources provided and Dave and Clara seem genuinely interested in Helping you enjoy their longtime home city. I would love to stay again in the future!

We immediately felt welcomed and at home in this cozy cottage. Dave and Clara went above and beyond and even helped us out with our car troubles and finding a mechanic! We felt like family. Cottage was clean and Beaufort was relaxing. The description was 100 percent as described.

I been in 3 different places in Beaufort N C in past 3 years and the location is great for the town and when you stay at this location you feel your in a relaxing country side with great mature trees and a great garden but close to town. The people who own this place are truely nice careing people. Fun to talk to and the place makes you feel at home. I will stay here again in the future.
I been in 3 different places in Beaufort N C in past 3 years and the location is great for the town and when you stay at this location you feel your in a relaxing country side with great mature trees and a great garden but close to town. The people who own this place are truely nice careing people. Fun to talk to and the place makes you feel at home. I will stay here again in the future.

Amazing little cottage that has everything needed for a peaceful and relaxing vacation!! Owners communication was on point and they offered great advice throughout our stay on restaurants and fun activities!! Can't wait for our next stay!!!!!

This property was just perfect in every way. The owners attention to detail was unbelievable. The surrounding gardens in the yard are so pretty. Owners were always easy to communicate when I had questions. Definitely recommend.

It’s close enough to enjoy all the restaurants and shopping downtown has to offer, yet tucked away in a beautifully maintained garden that feels peaceful and secluded. The shade from the old, outstretched live oak branches created such a relaxing atmosphere.You can tell the hosts are truly passionate about providing a great experience. So many thoughtful details were taken care of, allowing our family to simply unwind and enjoy. And really—isn’t that what it’s all about?

This bungalow was perfect for the three of us, and just a block away from the water. The courtyard was just stunning and full of life - a lovely place to relax with a book. Dave and Clara were friendly hosts and happy to provide great information about the area. The horses make frequent appearances just across the water. We loved our stay!

Cute little bungalow in a great location near downtown Beaufort. Part of the city including our property lost power my first night in town and Dave was very helpful in providing flash lights and making sure I was settled, which seems emblematic of how they are as hosts. There were a lot of resources provided and Dave and Clara seem genuinely interested in Helping you enjoy their longtime home city. I would love to stay again in the future!

We had such a nice stay at the Beaufort Bungalow on Belle Air. Dave and Cora were excellent hosts. The Bungalow is lovely and well stocked. The garden that they have created is full of birds and flowers and is such a wonderful place to sit and relax. It is an easy walk into town. We saw horses across the water each day. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We enjoyed walking and biking around Beaufort, and this location was great for touring around town, and very accessible to the ferries at the waterfront. There are many great places to eat and renting bikes was a real plus.

My wife and I had a great weekend stay in Beaufort. The property was in a perfect location. We were able to walk downtown and to the brewery with ease. The bungalow itself was very endearing, adding a nice flair to the experience overall.

We throughly enjoyed our weekend at the bungalow. It was impeccably clean and we had plenty of space for my husband and two boys. The outdoor area was beautiful with plenty of seating. It is close to shops and restaurants, but far enough away from the lights and noise. We found it an easy walk by the water to downtown, but if you want to drive it would only take a couple of minutes. Dave and Clara were great and so friendly and patient with our boys. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beaufort bungalow! The hosts are lovely, the garden is amazing and the accommodations are so welcoming and and comfortable. One of the best VRBO stays we've had. We hope to be back soon!!

Clara and Dave were the best hosts! Super sweet, easy to communicate with, very accommodating, and gave great recommendations on what to do in Beaufort! The property was clean, beautiful, and in a great location. We can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in this bungalow for a total of four nights and five days. We were pleasantly surpised by all the details that had been provided to meet our needs. The bungalow was immaculate and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We had plenty of room and were even able to park our 20ft. boat under the carport. Our host were available and provided great information about the beautiful Beaufort area, including fishing areas. We had a great stay and even caught Blues and Mackeral to take home. We will definantely book this bungalow again in the future!

The bungalow was perfect for our 3-night anniversary weekend. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and Beaufort waterfront and easy drive to Harkers Island, Morehead City and the NC Aquarium in Pine Knolls Shore. It was clean and just perfect. Dave and Clare are excellent hosts. We would definitely stay again.
