Always a great stay at the Barong. Great pool area and cocktails, plentiful buffet breakfast, central location, plenty of options for massages @ $7/hour, money exchange at reception ... what more could one want? See you next time!

Some of the staff were really great, but most were quite rude and dismissive. Breakfast was just awful, save your money and get it somewhere else (or just get room service). The main pool was very cloudy with a slight green tinge. The second pool was clean, but pool bar wasn’t open. The decking around it also needs repair (got a few crackers of wood stuck in my foot). The 2 bedroom isn’t actually two bedrooms, it has one separate room while the other “room” just has two single beds in the corner of the kitchen/dining room. Definitely not worth paying extra. Location was fine if you’re happy walking everywhere, but getting a taxi takes a long time getting there (like 30mins from Waterbom) due to the narrow single lane of Poppies II. Don’t roam the hallways at night, they don’t have anyone collecting dishes outside the doors so you have a few feral cats enjoying their fill of people’s leftovers. Not suitable for those that want to go to bed before 9pm, loud music plays til late.

Room was cleaned thoroughly every day. Not the most modern resort but staff, facilities & location are fantastic. Pool bars always had a great vibe & swim up rooms are a definite next visit.

Hotel is falling apart, pool deck timber is all broken. Rooms with dirty walls and linen. Hardly any drinks at pool bar. Staff are friendly, best to stay elsewhere

Good location close to some great eatery’s and shops. Bathroom mouldy and paint flaking into the shower daily; poor tv reception, air con leaked. Pools were good. Dining area needs renovations and don’t bother with breakfast because the selection of food and coffee is below average.

残念ながら良いところが無かったです。部屋は湿気がひどく、エアコンをつけてもしつどはさがらなかった。とてもカビ臭い。照明の数が少なく部屋が暗い。シャワーブースに扉がないので、使用後はトイレなども全てびしょ濡れになる。タオルは古くてボロボロ。クッションがとても臭い。朝食は品揃えが悪く、有料とは思えない。卵料理をリクエストできるが、案内はない。コーヒーやお茶も、わざわざ頼まないと提供されない。料理の種類は少なく、美味しくはない。皆一口食べて、席をたって行くかんじ。 12時まで部屋を使えたが、早々にチェックアウトした。

We arrived in after a long day, our check in staff was so helpful, even the security in the parking lot for the on site bar helped with our luggage. We had a great clean room, bathroom was exceptionally clean for Indonesia. Our room overlooked a beautiful pool. We were a little concerned as the street below was very busy and loud, however, our room was silent. We only stayed here for one night, but would again and would recommend. Walking distance to the beach and to the mall and so much more.

If could give it 0 stars i would ... do not recommend this hotel unsafe for.familys and steal money and refuse to check us out when we wanted to leave easrly due to not being safe take more than $1000 from us false advertising hotel staff are rude rooms are dirty linen had sirty marks all over them DO NOT RECOMMEND

Property getting very dated and bathroom smells, When showering water goes all over the floor. I feel the money you pay for this property they need to refurbish the rooms. The staff went over and above to help you. Very friendly and efficient. Location great if you want hustle and bustle of Kuta.

Had to change rooms 3 times in w days because shower was working or air conditioning. Rooms are very small. The lighting is very bad, shower has no door and water goes everywhere.

This was a good place to stay as it was close to shops, night life and food. Our breakfast was included and had a great variety of eating options available. Drinks were a bit on the pricey side (at the swim up bar) room was cleaned well - towels were forgotten on two occasions (pool and bath) but was promptly rectified once we told reception staff. Overall we were happy to stay here - all staff were friendly.

The staff are amazing with special mention to Ari at reception/check-in and Putu the room cleaner. The smaller pool was fantastic and not busy. I felt safe as a single female traveller and enjoyed my stay at Grand Barong. I would stay again.

This was a good place to stay as it was close to shops, night life and food. Our breakfast was included and had a great variety of eating options available.
