View is excellent and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very close to main street with lots of dining options and close to marina as well for those looking to go on tours or visit other islands. Facilities are run down though and not of a high standard. Steep walk up the hill from the main street.

For the price, this property is a good budget-option in walking distance of the main hub of Airlie Beach. The property is old, but the rooms are big and the balconies are spacious. Our room was partly renovated. There are lovely views from the pool and spa, and there is a popular bar next to the pool area.

I would never post a bad review on Expedia however for the money paid at this hotel, we were disappointed. On the positive side, the hotel is easily walkable into the town and the views from the property are great. However, the room we booked was nothing like the photos and I understand that they are renovating the hotel in stages but we definitely overpaid for our room. There is a pub on site that does nice food but from 12pm till late they play very loud music and at kick out time you have noisy people leaving the premises. Expected if you were staying in the high street but we would have liked to have known about this before staying. Finally, I wanted to say that Hayley on reception was really lovely and helpful but we found the other members of staff rude and reluctant to help on occasions.

Our Self contained apartment with Balcony was Amazing. Views to envy over Airlie Beach! A short walk to the town centre, and sloped walk back for 100m, but 2 pools & a bar with such views. I’ll be back!!!

It’s got incredible views, decent restaurant, bed is small but comfy, and staff are super pleasant and friendly…….that’s about it. The property is run down - inside and out, requires upkeep or an overhaul, and housekeeping is poor…….is it a “you get what you pay for?” The stay wasn’t a bargain. The room was not swept or mopped - hair and bits on the floor, tables benches not wiped, the fridge looks newish, the bathtub not clean - hair inside the tub, a huge stain on the bottom of the tub, hair and dust and base of toilet, cobwebs on the windows. I like that 1.5 rolls of toilet paper and 2 tiny tubes of shampoo are there to cover your stay, reception is only open certain hours - so if you run out of toilet paper in the middle of the night it’s a problem. The thin tiny blanket provided is not enough to warm some people at night (we stayed during winter). Only the spa is heated and only one pool is available when they claim 2. Parking is good but some access and spaces are very tight so if you have a larger vehicle it may be inaccessible in some parts. Doors and balcony doors lock but are not super secure. There are long term or permanent tenants living there, with a “you’re in my home” attitude - so you will hear loud music, or they will put cones on parking that they believe belong to them (there is no allocated parking), they will be loud in the early hours of the morning…..I guess we all want to feel the “my home” vibes where we live. If clean, I would maybe stay again.

Great Location , amazing views. Rooms are standard but comfortable, pool is nice with views over the coral sea. There is a short walk uphill from the town centre, this is not to taxing but could be for some people. Recommend...

Nice and clean with everything you need! The hill is abit of a killer but managble. Hotel bar was lovely great service and food. Would recommend the balconys are beautiful in the mirning sun amazing veiw and a lovely sun trap

Room was quite dirty however staff cleaned it after we expressed it. Shower was AWFUL, had to wash my hair in the basin because there was zero pressure. It was actually painful to have a shower

Restaurant food at The Anchor Bar was exceptional, credit to the chef. Good location to Airlie Main Street. Rooms are very dated and although maintained really showing their age. Noise from other guests very loud to the point of seeming to be in the same room. Connecting doors may as well be left open. No privacy on balconies at all and need to keep curtains closed in case the neighbours are on their balconies. Bathrooms could do with a really good scrub floor to ceiling.

Walking into the room I was wowed with the 180 degree amazing view . Bed made up nicely with a small couch . Then I walked into bathroom and felt like I went back in time 45 years ago . Stained toilet and bathtub which need an urgent renovation and the block out curtains need to be changed torn and dirty . Overall I am rating it high but disappointed with the amenities and a lot of bugs ended up with spots.

We rang at 10:30am to ask if an earlier check in would be possible and were told that the room would be ready from 12pm. We arrived at 1:30pm after a long drive and the room was not ready. Staff were rude and told us we would just have to wait. Not really a huge issue, but didn’t start us off on the best note. The room was dirty, old and not maintained well at all. There were holes in the walls and appliances were so old they were discoloured and were lucky to work at all. The fridge light flickered constantly. We went to speak to the reception about our issues after our first night and were told we needed to find somewhere else to stay as we were not welcome at the hotel any longer. Apparently we had been playing loud music the night before (untrue). Staff were uncaring and unwilling to do anything to make our stay pleasant. We were forced to find last minute accommodation which was extremely stressful. We were also told a refund would be processed for the majority of our booking. After a week we had not been given our refund and had to fight for it. We were ignored when messaging the hotel and Wotif tried to fight on our behalf. They were also denied the refund. It wasn’t until I threatened legal action that I was given my owed refund 2 weeks later!

The room is pretty basic and very old. Cheapest possible TV, aircon units barely work and were filthy, bathroom shower screen filthy, all in all just cheap motel quality room but the view is unreal.

The hotel has some of the best views in Airlie Beach. The studio had a kitchen which we used every day. The balcony was lovely. The hotel though has permanent residents there, and the resident above us washed their balcony sending a waterfall down on us as we ate breakfast and had our towels and clothes swim clothes drying.

Even though the description states ‘Free WiFi’ the room did not have it. Only in pool area, which is not appropriate if you have to run a work conference call. Very misleading… it’s like saying ‘We have free WiFi, but you have to go to the closest Starbucks’.

Nice large room, booked a basic but upgraded on arrival. It’s up a hill which in the heat would be a challenge for those unfit. Only downside is no WiFi in the rooms ( only at reception) whilst I accept it’s a holiday resort many people need to book and confirm excursions, onward travel etc. woo go odds almost universally necessary these days.

Good hotel, amazing view, the balcony is very nice, bathroom really good, a lot of space. The facilities could be a bit better for the price, looks old and cheap and miss a gaz cooker or electric hotplates? Otherwise wise all good 👍

Great location for a stay in Airlie Beach. Only 100m from the supermarket and the main St where all the great eateries are. Large comfy bed and lounge furniture. Quiet during the night. Downside: no WiFi in the rooms and the kitchenette was somewhat sparse on everyday kitchen item/utensils. No fan in the bathroom is a pain.

The view is stunning! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as amazing as possible. All tours pick up from the accommodation which is handy. Everything you need is nearby. It’s my second time staying and will stay again.

Always a good stay been using the Whitsunday Terraces since 2016 and the views never fail to take our breath away. Well recommended. Great Staff, Great location and yes we will be back again.

I would never post a bad review on Expedia however for the money paid at this hotel, we were disappointed. On the positive side, the hotel is easily walkable into the town and the views from the property are great. However, the room we booked was nothing like the photos and I understand that they are renovating the hotel in stages but we definitely overpaid for our room. There is a pub on site that does nice food but from 12pm till late they play very loud music and at kick out time you have noisy people leaving the premises. Expected if you were staying in the high street but we would have liked to have known about this before staying. Finally, I wanted to say that Hayley on reception was really lovely and helpful but we found the other members of staff rude and reluctant to help on occasions.

We rang at 10:30am to ask if an earlier check in would be possible and were told that the room would be ready from 12pm. We arrived at 1:30pm after a long drive and the room was not ready. Staff were rude and told us we would just have to wait. Not really a huge issue, but didn’t start us off on the best note. The room was dirty, old and not maintained well at all. There were holes in the walls and appliances were so old they were discoloured and were lucky to work at all. The fridge light flickered constantly. We went to speak to the reception about our issues after our first night and were told we needed to find somewhere else to stay as we were not welcome at the hotel any longer. Apparently we had been playing loud music the night before (untrue). Staff were uncaring and unwilling to do anything to make our stay pleasant. We were forced to find last minute accommodation which was extremely stressful. We were also told a refund would be processed for the majority of our booking. After a week we had not been given our refund and had to fight for it. We were ignored when messaging the hotel and Wotif tried to fight on our behalf. They were also denied the refund. It wasn’t until I threatened legal action that I was given my owed refund 2 weeks later!

View is excellent and staff are very friendly and helpful. Very close to main street with lots of dining options and close to marina as well for those looking to go on tours or visit other islands. Facilities are run down though and not of a high standard. Steep walk up the hill from the main street.

Our Self contained apartment with Balcony was Amazing. Views to envy over Airlie Beach! A short walk to the town centre, and sloped walk back for 100m, but 2 pools & a bar with such views. I’ll be back!!!

Great location for a stay in Airlie Beach. Only 100m from the supermarket and the main St where all the great eateries are. Large comfy bed and lounge furniture. Quiet during the night. Downside: no WiFi in the rooms and the kitchenette was somewhat sparse on everyday kitchen item/utensils. No fan in the bathroom is a pain.

The view is excellent overlooking the airlie bay . There are 5 levels of apartments going up this horrendously steep hill then you have to get your 20kg of luggage up and down 4 to 5 sets of steps at each apartment level. My wife and i are in our 60s and walk regularly , we were staying on the 2nd highest level. The hill beat us , we got a cab everytime we had to go up the hill at approx $6 to $7 a trip. I suggest you try to stay on the flat ground around the town.

Restaurant food at The Anchor Bar was exceptional, credit to the chef. Good location to Airlie Main Street. Rooms are very dated and although maintained really showing their age. Noise from other guests very loud to the point of seeming to be in the same room. Connecting doors may as well be left open. No privacy on balconies at all and need to keep curtains closed in case the neighbours are on their balconies. Bathrooms could do with a really good scrub floor to ceiling.

For the price, this property is a good budget-option in walking distance of the main hub of Airlie Beach. The property is old, but the rooms are big and the balconies are spacious. Our room was partly renovated. There are lovely views from the pool and spa, and there is a popular bar next to the pool area.

Unit was far away from the noisy pool and bar which was good and the two units had plenty of space with stunning views. Both bathrooms were good. Free wifi is advertised but it does not tell you that it is only available at reception or by the noisy bar area. No wifi in your units at all despite having wifi tvs ready for streaming. Only local channels available. All luggage and groceries etc had to be taken down three flight on a spiral staircase to the units . All rubbish and recycling bins were three floors up. Not very good for those of us with older knees. The one bedroom was less than well kept or updated with noisy plumbing. ageing units and a trip hazard where there was a gap in the new tile floor between the two rooms with having a cable running through it. The adjacent studio slept three but only two chairs at the table and balcony. Newer furniture was in the studio but was too big for the space so we could not close the connecting door without moving a a bed and a cabinet. Both units had a slightly tired feel. The lighting in both units was minimal and not good. Neither kitchen was well equipped, the one bed only having a microwave but no microwave pots or bowls to cook in, a one burner electric hob and one pan. The studio had both a toaster oven and microwave but again , nothing to cook or serve with. 2 chairs on each balcony and nothing on the third balcony was not enough to seat the 6 that these two units slept.

Location was perfect. Close to supermarket and the main street beach as well. The view from balcony was beautiful. However, the room is Little be tired And no internet from our room. Over all It's good.

Room didn’t look like pictures. The property was pretty run-down, there is no WiFi in the rooms and the TV wasn’t functional as the terrestrial stations were unavailable as the aerial didn’t work and again, there’s no WiFi so the TV was useless. Positives, checking in was easy and the staff we encountered were really nice
