This was a fantastic rental. Easily the best that we have ever rented. It was very clean, and had everything that we needed. There was plenty of room. The view was beautiful. The kayaks and paddleboat allowed us to explore the lake and do some fishing, and the fishing was very good. We enjoyed all of the games that are provided as well as the fire pit. Hope to return again.

The house was so clean! The views were lovely and the kitchen had all the essentials. We had easy drives to Cooperstown - farmer's market, baseball hall of fame, shopping and Mel's was delicious! Also went to Fly Creek, Ommegang Brewery, and The Farmer's Museum. Location was good and we had plenty of parking. The game room was a nice feature on our rainy weekend!

The house is amazing for a small family group looking to get away. The game room was a huge hit with the kids. The dock and access to the kayaks allowed for many great memories and beautiful sunsets.

Great house right on the lake, perfect place to watch the sunset. We caught tons of different fish on the lake and also right off the dock at the house. Kids loved the kayaks and paddle boat.

Game room was fun. Wife and friend enjoyed being on the water. Water pressue was an issue. Water stopped completely once. Toilet paper was very poor. Left a message about a thermostat problem that was never returned. Kitchen was well equipped. Good location. Providing a list of grocery stores, good dinning options, local attractions would be helpful.

Beautiful place to stay. Well taken care of by the owner. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations, atmosphere and closeness to Cooperstown and Price Chopper. Very convenient. Golf options are great and the outdoor amenities are exceptional. Very relaxing location and great views of the lake. Communications with the owner were excellent with immediate response time. Will stay here again.

Couldn’t have been more perfect. Spent a lot of time on the lake, which is only steps from the back patio. Rodney provides all the toys. And ending each night with a fire and Pac-Man tournaments was pretty incredible. We will be back!

We loved our time at this home! The home was spacious, set on a beautiful lake, and a short drive to Cooperstown and other attractions like the Fly Creek Orchard and the Rail Explorers experience. The area is quiet at night. If you need darkness to sleep, be sure not to sleep in the master bedroom, as you will instead catch a beautiful sunrise coming in at 5am. The kids loved the arcade game, air hockey, and foosball. Unfortunately, it was too cold and windy this time for some kayaking.

We loved everything about the house! It is very clean. We enjoyed the lake view and we had a beautiful sunset on the first night. It’s a very comfortable place. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. It’s a great home base for visiting the Hall of Fame and other local sites. We enjoyed the baseball memorabilia/induction certificates of many famous players. My husband had fun playing the PAC Man game. The host responded promptly to any questions. We definitely recommend this house!

The lake house was just perfect for our family getaway. The views of the lake were amazing! The house is very clean and had all of the necessary amenities. Rodney was quick to message us back if we had any questions or concerns. We look forward to the opportunity to stay here again.

The owner was quick to reply with any of our simple questions. The check-in process was a breeze. All the info shared by the owner in advance made finding the home, parking and access so easy. The home itself was even more than the pics showed. Plus it was very clean! There was nothing that we felt was missing and our stay was great, There was plenty of room for us seven women to even be in the kitchen at the same time! The views were amazing. We would go back in a heartbeat. We were there in the winter when the lake was frozen and we could watch people out on the ice...fishing and just strolling. We could only imagine what it would be like in the summer!

Wife's college roommates (+ 2 husbands) - 43 years ago - from 3 states (Oh/NY/SC) ... hoped for great weather. Loved the house and setup - great time (never used the tv). Scenic hills & lake - location, location, location. Lots of cooking - good kitchen, comfy rooms, too rainy/cold for firepit/kayaking ... but, it was all good. Thank you for the opportunity (although detail cleaning was lacking).

This was our second visit to the All Star Lakehouse and we’re anxious to return. The house is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. We love cooking in the well stocked kitchen and on the Blackstone griddle. Nothing beats waking up to the view of the lake other than the most amazing sunsets! Thank you Rodney for sharing this piece of heaven.

This is the second time we've stayed at Rodney and Amy's property. The house is very nice: clean, plenty of room, nice patio, relaxing, and it has a great view of the lake from several rooms. The owners are pleasant and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

What a gem. From the moment we pulled up to the house and looked down to the water, we felt so much happiness and calmness. It’s an absolutely perfect house for a family - this stay being only myself, my father, and my 9 year old son. We cooked nearly every meal on the Blackstone, enjoyed watching the boats go by, did a bit of fishing, slept with the windows open listening to the water lap on the shore, but mostly just sat outside and spent time as a family. We saw the neighbors briefly and would waved at the passing boats, but besides that it’s very private. Check-in and out instructions were crystal clear, the house was fully appointed, and the view is really unbelievable. We had just the perfect end-of-summer getaway. (Don’t get me started on the sunsets. Literally breathtaking.) Many thanks to Rodney and Amy!

Really amazing house with activities, lots of space for families to enjoy; be sure to bring your own basics like shampoo, soap, matches for fire, all cooking basics too, coffee, etc.

Had the pleasure of staying at the “All-Star Lakehouse” this past week and it was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful home, beautiful location, quiet, and more than enough room for our family to be able to relax. As an added bonus my wife and I are huge baseball fans and the nostalgic memorabilia around the house was just an awesome touch. If you have the chance to stay here, do not pass it up.

Quick trip to Cooperstown to see the Baseball Hall of Fame. The house was gorgeous and had every amenity you could possibly need or want! Plenty of room for our family of 6!! Views were exquisite. We just had a few days to visit and this place was perfect for our family. While the weather wasn’t warm for us, it’s easy to see how this would be a really fun summer stay. Everything was as described and communication was great!

The owner was quick to reply with any of our simple questions. The check-in process was a breeze. All the info shared by the owner in advance made finding the home, parking and access so easy. The home itself was even more than the pics showed. Plus it was very clean! There was nothing that we felt was missing and our stay was great, There was plenty of room for us seven women to even be in the kitchen at the same time! The views were amazing. We would go back in a heartbeat. We were there in the winter when the lake was frozen and we could watch people out on the ice...fishing and just strolling. We could only imagine what it would be like in the summer!

Everything was great, smooth check in and a beautiful home. Around 15 minutes from Cooperstown, right on the lake with beautiful views. Definitely would love to come back and would highly recommend!

This vacation home is exactly as described. The location on the lake is phenomenal and offered a serene environment for our family. I looked forward to my cup of coffee on the outdoor patio every morning. Rodney (the host) was excellent to work with - extremely responsive!

We were in town because my son was playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park. While this property was a little further away than others (about 20 minutes), it was far superior to any options that were available closer to the park. It’s close enough that we could still come “home” between games and ran down to pick up our son a couple of times on a whim, no problem. The lake is absolutely beautiful with crystal clear water and plenty of kayaks and patio furniture to relax and enjoy it. It was never crowded or crazy with boats, even on the weekends. The kids just loved fishing off the dock and caught plenty of bluegill and pumpkinseed fish once we ran up and got night crawlers for bait. The house is clean and the a/c is plenty to keep the whole house cool on hot days, even up in the loft/upstairs bedroom. There are ton of games to play and the kids were never bored, even when it was rainy outside. I recommend bringing plenty of drinking water (bought by the gallon at the grocery store) because the water contains sulfur from the springs and we did not prefer the taste. We had only one very minor issue with the flapper on one of the toilets not closing properly (did not affect our use of the toilet whatsoever), and Rodney responded almost immediately and sent his handyman out right away to fix it. Bottom line, if you are staying in the area, this is the perfect lake house getaway so your family can enjoy the trip as much as the boys enjoy their time at the baseball park!!

Great Lake House made the most of family time while son was at Dreams Park. Peddle boat, kayaks, fishing, s’mores, and less then half hour each way to dreams park. Great Family Time! Thanks Rodney!

This is a fantastic lake house. Great for kids, parents and grandparents. Close to multiple towns and great restaurants. An easy drive to Dreams Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. The host was great as well. He responded quickly to any questions we had and they keep the property in great condition for guests.

This house exceeded my expectations! The setting was breathtaking! The use of the boats was such a bonus. The ride to and from Dreams Park was only about 20 minutes. Other team families stayed closer to the park but the extra few minutes was well worth the lake front experience!

Beautiful place to stay. Well taken care of by the owner. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations, atmosphere and closeness to Cooperstown and Price Chopper. Very convenient. Golf options are great and the outdoor amenities are exceptional. Very relaxing location and great views of the lake. Communications with the owner were excellent with immediate response time. Will stay here again.

We loved our time at this home! The home was spacious, set on a beautiful lake, and a short drive to Cooperstown and other attractions like the Fly Creek Orchard and the Rail Explorers experience. The area is quiet at night. If you need darkness to sleep, be sure not to sleep in the master bedroom, as you will instead catch a beautiful sunrise coming in at 5am. The kids loved the arcade game, air hockey, and foosball. Unfortunately, it was too cold and windy this time for some kayaking.

The property was beautiful and very spacious. The view of the frozen lake outside was majestic and my mother enjoyed watching it start to thaw. We were able to play with some of the snow and my teenage son was able to experience it for the first time. My son was also very happy with the game room. The only thing to mention is that if you plan to cook anything, you have to supply all condiments and basics. This was more of a small inconvenience but didn't dampen the experience and beauty of the rental. Would definitely stay again if in the area

The house was so clean! The views were lovely and the kitchen had all the essentials. We had easy drives to Cooperstown - farmer's market, baseball hall of fame, shopping and Mel's was delicious! Also went to Fly Creek, Ommegang Brewery, and The Farmer's Museum. Location was good and we had plenty of parking. The game room was a nice feature on our rainy weekend!

What a gem. From the moment we pulled up to the house and looked down to the water, we felt so much happiness and calmness. It’s an absolutely perfect house for a family - this stay being only myself, my father, and my 9 year old son. We cooked nearly every meal on the Blackstone, enjoyed watching the boats go by, did a bit of fishing, slept with the windows open listening to the water lap on the shore, but mostly just sat outside and spent time as a family. We saw the neighbors briefly and would waved at the passing boats, but besides that it’s very private. Check-in and out instructions were crystal clear, the house was fully appointed, and the view is really unbelievable. We had just the perfect end-of-summer getaway. (Don’t get me started on the sunsets. Literally breathtaking.) Many thanks to Rodney and Amy!

Game room was fun. Wife and friend enjoyed being on the water. Water pressue was an issue. Water stopped completely once. Toilet paper was very poor. Left a message about a thermostat problem that was never returned. Kitchen was well equipped. Good location. Providing a list of grocery stores, good dinning options, local attractions would be helpful.

This was our second visit to the All Star Lakehouse and we’re anxious to return. The house is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. We love cooking in the well stocked kitchen and on the Blackstone griddle. Nothing beats waking up to the view of the lake other than the most amazing sunsets! Thank you Rodney for sharing this piece of heaven.
This was our second visit to the All Star Lakehouse and we’re anxious to return. The house is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. A wonderfully comfortable and fun home overlooking Canadarago Lake. Comprehensively administered by its owners, this waterfront getaway was the perfect place for the five of us. The concrete patio and Adirondack chair nook with fire pit was a joyful spot to take in a glorious sunset two nights in a row. And the PacMan Jr. video game in the game room was a nostalgic throwback that my son and friend appreciated sharing in. Well-appointed and thoughtful, I'm sure this home will remain in high demand for its value, location, and established base of fans.
