Good breakfast - big modern rooms - ceiling smoke detector flashing very bright at night - only 2 elevators but still acceptable wait times - small pool - pool area slippery and never really gets any sun - gym well eqipped - staff very friendly and helpful - coffee and water provided in the lobby throughout the day -no play room/kids room - construction going on, hopefully more facilities in the future

Be aware this property is one block off the red light district if you are staying with family. They were renovating some parts of the hotel, particularly the gym, during my stay. It was a short walk to a partner hotel to use their gym in the mornings so not too inconvenient.

Great location within walking distance to the Nana area. I really liked the blackout curtains in the room, the strong AC, and the well-designed bathroom with all the facilities I needed. The spa was relaxing, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient.

I have stayed here 3 times the location works would just hope the pool will be available as on previous trips i have been given same reasons construction work in progress and pool out of order but have option to use another pool down the road i will prob stoll book just because it is very convenient

The rooms were fantastic. Feels new and clean. Everything was super comfortable room wise. The gym however was in very poor state and terribly needs a refresh. Equipment was broken and worn albeit still functional. The air conditioning was very weak making it a little stuffy.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location is within walking distance to Ploenchit station and market. It's well connected to the other train stations. The rooms are bright, clean and cozy. Breakfast is great with varieties of food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Heel mooi hotel . Kamer op de 17e verdieping. Zeer schoon en werd elke dag goed schoon gemaakt. Personeel super vriendelijk. Ontbijt was redelijk. Op loopafstand naar de Skytrain. Dus zeer centraal gelegen. Klein zwembad maar goed verzorgd.

+Not too far from main street. +Efficient staff at egg station. +Some happy staff. +Comfortable beds -Only one treadmill in fitness. -Super tiny spot of sun at pool. I don´t understand how a big hotel like this don´t have sun at pool. -Noise from elevators. -Would have appreciated more variation of fresh bread for breakfast. -Cleaning not synced at all. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and in ann excellent condition. The staff are excellent and very helpful at all times. We have stayed for two days and cannot speak highly enough of the hotel staff. The area around the hotel is a bit seedy, but it is a central location and easy for shopping and getting around the city.

The Doubletree hotel offer a good standard. The rooms are of sufficient size. The bed are comfortable. The bathroom is with a shower cabin, modern in design. The rooms offers all the comfort needed, are equipped with a working desk, a fridge, a safety box and the internet is fast and reliable. The breakfast offers a good variety of warm and cold Asian and European breakfast items. The pool area is too small for such a big hotel. There is a shopping centre up the road with a supermarket and a convenience store. The hotel staff is attentive and forthcoming. To avoid over charging by the local taxi divers that are waiting fir ignorant tourists in front of the hotel, it is strongly suggested to call taxi over the Grab application.

Doubletree is located in a great location close to clubs, bars, restaurants and shopping. It is also near Bts, which can take you pretty much through Bangkok. The amenities are very good as well as the staff are very helpful and accommodating. If you also use wifi the connection is excellent. It is quiet at night if you need to just rest and get sleep.

Everyone was kind and went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. My friend fell sick and they sent her up some toast. The spa staff and services were impeccable. I would highly recommend!

Second stay here for me and there is a reason for that, the service is second to none, you are a stones throw from parks, BTS and Sukhumvit but tucked away on soi 2 so that it is less noisy. Staff are such lovely people and are kind and helpful. The service is 5 star. I’ll be back next year for stay number 3. Thank you so much everyone at Doubletree Ploenchit 🙏

Most everything was good, except they did not honor the included late check out. So we had to sit outside for a couple of hours until it was time to go to the airport. Probably will try another hotel next time.

Excellent location for a family. Just bordering the crazy night streets of Sukhamvit and easy access to shopping centers. Nana is just 5 minutes walk. We used to walk down to both night streets as well as shopping centers of Siam. Siam however is 20 to 30 min walk. BTS is right next to hotel, in case you wish to ride through metro. However, if you like being in middle of action, you may find this hotel a put off. 7/11 for example is 5 min walk and it seems 15 min away when you are dead tired at night. Food was good. Not much variety for Indians though as resturants inside the hotel offer great Oriental and Thai options. Not much for vegetarians. We however, didnt face much issue experimenting with new variety of food. If you are an Indian who wishes to have Indian food on daily basis then this hotel is not the right choice. Opting for Ala-Carte instead of Half-board like we did might be a better choice as many oriental dishes taste better when they are cooked and served, instead of being there in buffets. Over-all, our stay was very nice.
