The place is very quiet, if you rent a car you have plenty of room where to park, transport is very accessible, if you want to walk downtown just prepare on your way back to walk a very steep hill, the area is very pretty. I really recommend this placevto stay out of the noise of Barcelona hotels

Der Weg vom Bahnhof war sehr beschwehrlich. Ein Shuttlebus wäre wünschenswer gewesen. Der Lift in der Unterkunft war durchgehend defekt. Die Fliesen im Bad hielten gerade noch. An der ganzen Anlage waren kleinere Reperaturen überfällig. Das Personal war aber sehr bemüht und freundlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht

They are a venue for weddings we didn’t know that going it didn’t bother us too much but the pool was closed for a certain amount of hours for the wedding they are a €30 Uber/taxi to the where the main attraction are so would keep that in mind but over all we loved it we loved the history of the place and it was super calming in the area away from the hustle and bustle pool was great the food as well I would definitely stay there again

Good food, great pool, difficult to get to get to because of narrow streets. Nice outdoor terrace areas. But a very noisy celebration that went on to at least 1:30 in the morning.

Hotel seguro, tranquilo, limpio y muy bien cuidado. Desayuno excelente. La única nota negativa sería que durante mi estancia (3 noches) el ascensor estuvo dañado.

El hotel tiene mucho que ofrecer, está en un lugar fabuloso, lo único esta muy dejado y sucio. Necesita más cariño, algunas obras y sobre todo una buena limpieza.

Beautiful location, quiet, great swimming pool, hotel is neglected, needs a repaint all over, flooring damaged. Bathroom needs repair and mold removal. Furniture chipped and scratched. No toiletries and not even a Kleenex box. Christmas decorations still in place throughout the lobby and hotel. Staff courteous. Needs repairs and updating.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen – das merkt man vor allem an der Einrichtung, die ziemlich alt wirkt. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, aber insgesamt war der Eindruck eher durchwachsen. Für den Preis hätten wir uns etwas mehr Frische oder Modernität erwartet. „Ganz okay“, aber nichts, worauf man sich beim nächsten Mal freuen würde.

The hotel was in a beautiful position on a walkable hill and had fantastic far reaching views across the city and looked even more amazing lit up at night! The hotel gardens, pool and seating areas were lovely and well cared for. The actual room we had was a great size with an en suite and private garden area which was lovely. The Room was clean , in fairness, could do with a little freshen up as some parts of paintwork were peeling off. My only complaint is that the safe didn’t work, although the staff did try , and initially the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, not sure if from previous guest but once the garden door had been opened for a while it was ok, none of the bedding or curtains smelled smoky so must have been recent. We had breakfast on our last day, lovely outside dining area and food was varied and delicious. The hotel itself is on a hilltop overlooking Sant Boi town to one side and the old historic church and square on the other. Follow the church side down to the lovely square with bars and restaurants and the metro station which will take you all over Barcelona city. We had a lovely 5 day stay ans would definitely recommend this hotel!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel El Castell – Barcelona Our stay at Hotel El Castell was fantastic! The ambiance is very pleasant, and the hotel’s location is excellent,everything is easily accessible and convenient. The overall experience was very, very good. The only issue we faced was with the free Wi-Fi, as the network kept disconnecting automatically. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!

Do not stay here if you are put in a lower level floor (Floor 1). It is appalling. The rooms smell of smoke and chemicals to mask the smoke, the bath tubs are rusty and the “garden” is not as advertised. We were placed in room 206 after complaining at the front desk and I am convinced it is one of the only decent rooms in the place. Literally only go for rooms in the 2 or 3 floor or LEAVE—not worth the cheapness.

Very nice; clean; super small room but we were fine with that - good value for the cost. No shuttle to/from airport and taxi was 28-29 euros each way. Would be lovely in the warmer months - has a pool and large outdoor patio.

Trevligt hotell med fin utsikt och pool. Lite väl hårda sängar, det fanns inga bäddmadrasser. Ac:n var riktigt kall men emellanåt var det missljud i den som väckte oss på natten. Dörrarna mellan rummen var oisolerade så vi hörde allt som hände i rummet brevid. Äggen till frukosten var iskalla och alldeles gröna. Utav 5 mornar fick vi bara ta kaffe själva en morgon i kaffemaskiner, de andra mornarna hämtade personalen vilket tog alldeles för lång tid, det skulle vara mycket enklare med en stor kaffetermos där man serverar sig själv. Nära till buss och tåg men tänk på att hotellet ligger väldigt högt och det kan bli besvärligt med resväskor och värmen mellan husen när man går.

The hotel is in a great location with an excellent view, however, it is very run down in major need of renovations, some of the problems we found were malfunctioning air conditioners, musty smell cracked walls, lots of wear and tear on doors and windows, the staff is very rude towards foreign tourists to the point we practically had to beg for service since the hotel staff was nowhere to be found on a daily basis and when we chased them down they were rude and dismissive even though we are normally excellent guests and generous tippers. I would not come back.

The hotel is in a great location with an excellent view, however, it is very run down in major need of renovations, some of the problems we found were malfunctioning air conditioners, musty smell cracked walls, lots of wear and tear on doors and windows, the staff is very rude towards foreign tourists to the point we practically had to beg for service since the hotel staff was nowhere to be found on a daily basis and when we chased them down they were rude and dismissive even though we are normally excellent guests and generous tippers. I would not come back.

En arrivant , problème informatique donc j’ai du attendre 45 min pour avoir une chambre. Ensuite le soir, coupure d électricité . Résolue mais bon… Et pour finir , erreur sur ma facture: je suis seule et on me facture deux petits dej. Bref le lieu a l air sympa mais beaucoup de problème pour une seule nuit

The place is very quiet, if you rent a car you have plenty of room where to park, transport is very accessible, if you want to walk downtown just prepare on your way back to walk a very steep hill, the area is very pretty. I really recommend this placevto stay out of the noise of Barcelona hotels

Love the place that it was in a serene setting. Chill out at the pool. Walking to the nearest cafeteria and plaza was a bit of a struggle for me because I have a hip problem. The street are narrow and steep. Walking back to the hotel was a struggle unless you're totally fit. I did enjoy the plaza, shops and even the walk.

Very nice; clean; super small room but we were fine with that - good value for the cost. No shuttle to/from airport and taxi was 28-29 euros each way. Would be lovely in the warmer months - has a pool and large outdoor patio.

Trevligt hotell med fin utsikt och pool. Lite väl hårda sängar, det fanns inga bäddmadrasser. Ac:n var riktigt kall men emellanåt var det missljud i den som väckte oss på natten. Dörrarna mellan rummen var oisolerade så vi hörde allt som hände i rummet brevid. Äggen till frukosten var iskalla och alldeles gröna. Utav 5 mornar fick vi bara ta kaffe själva en morgon i kaffemaskiner, de andra mornarna hämtade personalen vilket tog alldeles för lång tid, det skulle vara mycket enklare med en stor kaffetermos där man serverar sig själv. Nära till buss och tåg men tänk på att hotellet ligger väldigt högt och det kan bli besvärligt med resväskor och värmen mellan husen när man går.

Hôtel tres bien pour le prix, propre avec une vue sur la ville, pas trop loin de l’aeroport ! Frigo, tv, coffret de sécurité, chauffage, important vu le temps de l’année ! Il y a meme une piscine mais trop froid en ce temps de l’année ! Le seul point un peu négatif, le restaurant de l’hôtel est assez dispendieux pour la qualité de la nourriture, nous y avons soupé et c’etait vraiment ordinaire, peu de saveurs !

Good food, great pool, difficult to get to get to because of narrow streets. Nice outdoor terrace areas. But a very noisy celebration that went on to at least 1:30 in the morning.

The hotel was in a beautiful position on a walkable hill and had fantastic far reaching views across the city and looked even more amazing lit up at night! The hotel gardens, pool and seating areas were lovely and well cared for. The actual room we had was a great size with an en suite and private garden area which was lovely. The Room was clean , in fairness, could do with a little freshen up as some parts of paintwork were peeling off. My only complaint is that the safe didn’t work, although the staff did try , and initially the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, not sure if from previous guest but once the garden door had been opened for a while it was ok, none of the bedding or curtains smelled smoky so must have been recent. We had breakfast on our last day, lovely outside dining area and food was varied and delicious. The hotel itself is on a hilltop overlooking Sant Boi town to one side and the old historic church and square on the other. Follow the church side down to the lovely square with bars and restaurants and the metro station which will take you all over Barcelona city. We had a lovely 5 day stay ans would definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff were consistently friendly, and the receptionist was particularly polite and helpful. The swimming pool and restaurant were enjoyable, and the cleaning team kept everything well maintained throughout my stay. There were a few practical issues. The charging points in the room weren’t Type‑C or modern, so I had to use an adaptor, and even then the electricity output wasn’t ideal — it took much longer than usual to charge phones. The Wi‑Fi was free, but the coverage and speed weren’t perfect across all areas of the hotel. One major convenience was the free 24/7 parking within the hotel grounds. ...tolles Hotel, auch wenn das Hotel und die Zimmer schon etwas bessere Zeiten gesehen haben ist das Ambiente und die Atmosphäre einfach genial, hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und den alltäglichen Stress abwerfen, ob am Pool oder auf der Terrasse, es liegt auf einem Berg und man hat eine tolle Aussicht auf Barcelona und Umgebung, die Leute sind sehr nett und auch das Frühstück und Abendessen sind sehr gut, ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt, Danke an Alle
