Sunset & Privacy: 100m² Pool & Heated Indoor Pool

Me, my wife and a few other couples / friends all stayed here for a week, and it was absolutely perfect.The villa is incredible - loads of room to spread out, the pool is gorgeous, the view is even better, and all the amenities kept us occupied (table tennis and Nintendo Switch as highlights!). We made good use of the barbecue and all the cooking tools and facilities worked great. The villa is far enough away from others that we could make as much noise as we wanted, but it's also a quick 15 minute walk to the beach, and we also were able to walk into the nearest village and had a delicious meal at the Taverna Poliou House (25 mins).Rethymno town is a short 10 min drive, and our host helped us book taxis no problem (20-25 euros per car).A huge thank you to Sofia and all the hosts who made our stay so lovely, they were incredibly kind and welcoming, we loved the snacks they left us, and we really appreciated the midweek clean and restock! Check in and check out were super easy.We hope to come back again soon, much love!

Just completed a 10 day family vacation to Villa Daphne. Fabulous villa, great pool and surrounding games area with activities for all ages (our ages ranged from 11 to 75). Our stay benefited from hiring a car. Owner Markos could not have been any nicer or more generous and his interaction with us during our stay could not have been any better. Together with the etouri concierge team they provided excellent guidance, recommendations and assistance both before and during our vacation. We cannot thank them all enough for making this a wonderful stay in Rethymnon. We hope to return!!

As a mixed group of 8 friends around 30 years old, we wanted somewhere remote enough yet a short drive away from amenities and with an environment to socialise, eat and drink. Firstly, as a host, Markos and the etouri concierge team are outstanding at dealing with absolutely any request and are super easy to communicate with and responsive at almost any time, you feel more looked after by them than if you were in a hotel. The location is great, remote so you can feel comfortable playing music without being conscious of disturbing others and similarly you will not be disturbed there. It’s around 15 minutes drive to get to most places (supermarkets, butchers, beach, restaurants, bars etc.). The inside of the villa is well suited to hosting groups, but the best part is without doubt the outdoor area. It’s social without being cramped for a large group, has a coal bbq station (everything you need to get it going were provided by the host and even cleaned when the villa was during our stay), there are outdoor games around the centrepiece pool (salt rather than a chlorine system), a portable speaker was provided and if that wasn’t all you’ll probably see the best sunset of your life right there.

Best vacation ever. Fantastic house with a pool perfect for both the grown-ups and the kids. Super service from Markos and his team. A perfect combination of privacy and close to the pulse of Rethymnon.

Where do we start. We had the most incredible experience from initial contact, to booking, to arrival and then leaving. Sofia greeted us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know about the property. Markos then greeted us on the Monday and Thursday to manage the cleaning process and then the Saturday for our departure. The cleaning and maintenance team were incredible. Markos and Sofia were incredibly hospitable with no end of special treats! Nothing was too much trouble. The property management team provided exceptional service helping us with taxis. The villa is impeccably presented and absolutely perfect for families. We were a family of 10 across 4 couples (8 adults and 2 children under 2). The pool was one of the cleanest we have seen and the outdoor area is exactly as it looks in the pictures. The attention to detail is insane and we literally wouldn't change a thing about the villa and the service we received. The only issue with the location is that you can't really walk anywhere so a car is really essential but then it is totally worth it for the views and the most beautiful sunsets!
