Beautiful new hotel conveniently located with great staff and service. Nice amenities including a complimentary minibar with soda and water and a welcome bottle of wine. The gym is very small as is the rooftop thalassotherapy pool, but the rooftop restaurant is very nice. Definitely recommend!

All staff were friendly, helpful and courteous at all times. Though my wife and myself would like to make a special mention about Konstantinos and Stavroula in the bar area. The hotel was fantastic. to everything. Free parking is a huge plus. The top floor restaurant with views is so good, the breakfast was also very good with great variety and perfect coffee. The staff were were very good and helpful for anything you needed and nothing was too difficult. Credit to the restaurant staff as well. Will definitely be returning!!

Hotel was very nice. It is right on the border of the sights in Athens, so you do have to do a little walking to get to the most "touristy" areas, but considering the price difference I think this was a great deal. Breakfast was included and wonderful. The small plunge pool on the roof was a nice addition and great way to cool down after a long hot day or touring around Athens.

Stayed over for one night at this very new and brilliantly located hotel. We were greeted and checked in by two excellent members of staff, one I think was Edwin, who gave us cold drinks and a snack on arrival, took our cases to the room, nothing was too much bother for him. We had an executive room with Acropolis view, the room was light, airy, nicely furnished and included a complimentary mini bar. Facilities at the hotel were very good, including a small but adequate thermal plunge pool on floor 6 and a fitness room that was opening soon on a lower floor. Breakfast was plentiful and service throughout was nothing short of excellent. This hotel has only been open a month so is in great condition and represented excellent value for money. I can thoroughly recommend a stay her and we will return!

Room was spotless, staff were excellent, very attentive and helpful. Free mini bar in the room and bottle of wine on arrival. Breakfast was excellent too. Our room also had a fantastic view of the Acropolis.

Truly a five star experience. All staff from reception desk to restaurant were very welcoming and helpful. An absolute delight. Just to mention a few - Pascalis, Edvin, Adonis, Charles, and quite frankly all the staff we came in contact with, went above and beyond. Its just a pity i can't recall all their names. The gentleman in the restaurant on Februrary 16th night, made us feel so welcome and at home. It was unexpected and such a genuine gesture. Room has all you need including complimentary drinks, water, wine. What's not to like? Complimentary robes and slippers, tooth brush and paste. Rooms and toilets exceptionally clean. Breakfast options quite varied and of high quality. You will definitely find lots to eat. The Athenuem hotel is a touch of class and the staff are truly special. We very much liked the roof top restaurant and looking over at the Parthenon while eating breakfast. We were treated very well in Athens and highly recommend the Athenaeum.

The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to most areas of interest. The rooftop restaurant had a very good buffet breakfast. The junior suite was spacious and had a lot of light from big windows. The only negative comment I have is the pool on the rooftop is very small and there is no deck with long chairs.

We liked the hotels sleek design, rooftop dining area and friendly helpful staff. Our room a/c wasn’t working which was an issue. We also found our room tight/small and wished we’d booked one of the larger ones. The shower area could have been cleaned better, the halls are all stone and sounds carry easily and our mattress or base frame squeaked terribly

Great first stay in Athens at the Athenaeum. Great clean rooms, excellent staff and service (I particularly want to thank Manolis for all the great advice on nearby restaurants), easy 10 mn walk to the Acropolis and many tourist sites. Some people might be bothered by the closeness to the intersection of two majors roads with traffic. Would highly recommend, and stay there again!

Hôtel très bruyant ( intersection plusieurs routes) et franchement 570€ por deux nuits pour une chambre (la 503) de 10m2 c’est inadmissible pour un 4*. Salle de bain tellement petite que le lavabo était dans la chambre , impossible de poser une valise quelque part . Franchement , c’est se moquer des clients .

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is clean, stylish, and in a great location close to lots of attractions. We stayed in a junior suite facing the main street. The only downside was the noise, the door had a bit of a gap, so hallway sounds carried in, and with two glass walls, we could hear traffic too. Overall though, it’s a very nice place, and sealing the doors better would severely improve the experience.

This is not a true 5 star property. But it is very clean and comfortable with some luxe elements such as high threadcount sheets, quality amenities and a few other nice touches. Great breakfast selection served on the top floor with impressive views over this iconic city. Great location for sightseeing. Could walk everywhere. Nice staff, who provided efficient service. Our entry level room faced the main road and was a bit noisy at times. I would stay here again but I’d definitely upgrade to a higher room category with a quieter side street outlook.

Nice new property. Room was great except we were on the second floor corner room which sounds great, but the hotel is at the intersection of two super busy streets. Traffic all night on a Saturday. Stay, but ask for a room in the back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, the staff are wonderful and truly professional, and the view of the Acropolis from the room is absolutely stunning. The rooftop, where breakfast is served, offers breathtaking views of Athens’ landmarks. The breakfast itself is delicious and varied, and the coffee is excellent as well. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

Andreas the supervisor was excellent. Very accommodating. The 5 star boutique hotel is new and in pristine condition. Taking a cab every where costs €5-7 on the popular spots. It is very walkable if one has no mobility problems.The restaurant is delicious.

Truly a five star experience. All staff from reception desk to restaurant were very welcoming and helpful. An absolute delight. Just to mention a few - Pascalis, Edvin, Adonis, Charles, and quite frankly all the staff we came in contact with, went above and beyond. Its just a pity i can't recall all their names. The gentleman in the restaurant on Februrary 16th night, made us feel so welcome and at home. It was unexpected and such a genuine gesture. Room has all you need including complimentary drinks, water, wine. What's not to like? Complimentary robes and slippers, tooth brush and paste. Rooms and toilets exceptionally clean. Breakfast options quite varied and of high quality. You will definitely find lots to eat. The Athenuem hotel is a touch of class and the staff are truly special. I will highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you guys for making our stay beautiful 😍

The best experience we had while traveling in Europe ! The staff was amazing and sooo nice ! I had issues with my hair straightener and one of the staff members offered to go buy it from their shopping center and bring by the end of the day . He even put the receipt inside the bag . He went out of his way to make sure I feel good during our stay . All staff members were amazing ! The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were super clean.

Great first stay in Athens at the Athenaeum. Great clean rooms, excellent staff and service (I particularly want to thank Manolis for all the great advice on nearby restaurants), easy 10 mn walk to the Acropolis and many tourist sites. Some people might be bothered by the closeness to the intersection of two majors roads with traffic. Would highly recommend, and stay there again!

It’s new and being well taken care of so far. The room is light and attractive, has a very comfortable bed, and well thought out switches. Nice bathrooms. Excellent rooftop dining room with great views of Athens. The hotel is in easy walking distance to Syntagma Square, the Plaka, Acropolis and many sites, and also convenient to good public transport if not in the mood to walk.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good with amazing view of the Acropolis. Traffic is busy but overall the location is good for most of the sights, and is a short walk from Acropoli station.

The hotel was fantastic. to everything. Free parking is a huge plus. The top floor restaurant with views is so good, the breakfast was also very good with great variety and perfect coffee. The staff were were very good and helpful for anything you needed and nothing was too difficult. Credit to the restaurant staff as well. Will definitely be returning!!

The minute we walked inside the staff was warm and friendly. They checked in to see how we were doing each day. The Acropolis views from our room and the restaurant were fabulous. The quality of the food in the restaurant was delicious. The chocolate mouse dessert was decadent.

The Athenaeum Luxury Hotel in Athens is wonderfully located in a busy area within a 5-6 minute walk to the Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Zeus and Arch of Hadrian and a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis and Hellenic Parliament building. We stayed in room 601 which had a great view of the Parthenon and plenty of space. The room had a very comfortable king sized bed, great air-conditioning, in-room safe, a small fridge and great coffee maker. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Harry and Elena. The hotel breakfast was incredible and we would definitely stay here again!
