Lovely hotel with a great swimming pool, roof top bar and stunning views over the Roman bridge, Old City and beyond. Breakfast is expensive. Facilities would benefit from extended rooftop bar opening times and an offering of some food/tapas style snacks.

We were lucky enough to have been able to book the corner, river facing room. Great views to historic bridge and the mosque/cathedral accross the river. Breakfast buffet was really good, with additional choices of freshly cooked omelettes etc. One downside was the lack of a bar late in evening, or restaurant, but believe this was due to it being early in the year. One or two very closeby but other option's across river in old town

Very convenient location, easy to get to by car…lovely views over the Mesquita but always need to up-grade to rooms with view; currently having improvement work done but be aware, there is no Bar/Restaurant except Rooftop Bar which doesn’t open when raining! Good breakfast selection. Underground parking is a plus but costs extra.

This is a very modest price at this time of year. However, it still has things you expect from a more expensive hotel. They had cold water when you came into the lobby, comfortable pillows and mattresses, fitness room and a pool. The reception staff were helpful. We left books that we had read and they checked with us via email to see if this was an accident and wanted them back. Location excellent! Would return!

Excellent hotel, very close to the Roman bridge and all the sights are within walking distance. The hotel is clean and modern, the room was spacious with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had complimentary provisions such as razor, shower cap and toothbrush. There was also a small drinks fridge and coffee machine. The staff were excellent and provided great service. We were very pleased to stay at the hotel and would highly recommended it.

Room was spacious and clean, you can see it was recently renovated. Travelling with a young baby, they arranged a crib and towels before arrival. Good selection for morning buffet. There was free parking around the hotel. Nice view from the rooftop. Would stay again!

The hotel is very nice, elegant with a beautiful view from their roof and the staff is very friendly. Room, hotel, outside entrance and hall areas were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable; the large tub was great to soak in after much walking and so was roof top pool. The walk to the Mezquita is just over the bridge: the scenic bridge is a place of beauty. Renfe train station is about 15 min drive. Restaurants everywhere in walking distance. Local mall approx 17 min walk. Local stores 10 min walk behind hotel. This is a very conveniently located hotel. There is a large parking lot on side of hotel These are not negatives, just how it’s done here. Iron & board available but will have to ask for them. There’re no ice machines in hotel but they will get ice for you. No microwave in room which I deem standard in all higher end hotels. Not sure but I think these things are normal for Spain hotels. The door key activates the room’s electrical system and when removed from slot, everything shuts off. I very much enjoyed staying here, and especially enjoyed the history lesson on Spain National Holiday from staff.

Night noise and temperature of the room. The room was stuffy, it would have been nice to have the option to open a window or turn on a fan. We loved the amenities. The staff was gracious and helpful. Our trip to Cordoba was unexpected, but we enjoyed it! Thanks very much!

The best about this hotel is its closeness to the Roman bridge and top attractions. Roof top gets a great view of it. Other things are quite disappointing: my room was next to elevator and the noise made me hard to fall asleep. The room does not have warm air but only cold air yet the control unit has the heating selection - which only blew up cold air even worse and I got cold in the night. The room feels so empty and nothing made me feel cozy. There is no room coffee bags and they don’t even provide when I asked the front desk. Anyhow. This was the most undesirable hotel I stayed during my Spanish travel.

Very friendly and professional check in. Arrived at 1pm and our room was ready. All ok except after returning from a day out we realised we were situated next to the roof stairwell which had continual noise & traffic. Also room 301 was not next to the lifts however we could hear the lift every time it moved, did consider changing rooms however after 11pm the lift use was infrequent. Noise & activity started again at 8am. Bed was comfortable , standard room with no coffee/tea facilities but free in lobby. Breakfast was a good option and sufficient choices available. Check out was easy and receptionist friendly and actively seemed feedback. If I stayed again I would not take room 301 or 324 as they are noisy next to the lifts & stairs. Location of this hotel is my reason to stay at The Hesperia, great views,,easy to walk into Cordoba.Parking is €18 however street parking was nearby for free.

This hotel is wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing with a powerful shower, beautiful facilities and a large wardrobe. It’s a short walk over the bridge to the cathedral which looks beautiful from the hotel view. Great breakfast choices. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I was shocked to see that the strict pet policy of a somewhat ridiculous €24.50 per pet per night was applied to both of my very small dogs (effectively making the €98 night turn into a €147 night). My dogs weigh 2.5kg and 4kg respectively.. even airlines agree to fly them for the cost one one single dog but the attitude I received from staff when asking was disrespectful not worthy of the brand. If it’s a management issue, staff should have the discretion to only charge for one dog when the second dog is minuscule and should learn to be polite when declining the request. Instead I had the printed policy shoved in my face. There was no coffee in the room, despite a nespresso machine available. One of the toys left for the dog was already broken. So, attention to detail for what worked out to be a €150 room was desperately lacking. Finally I would not call this a dog friendly hotel. Other than allowing the dogs in for half the cost of the room, they were not allowed anywhere else and had strict policies. The bed was large and comfortable so I’m trying to be fair and balanced. The dog policy and staff attitude upset me so out of principle I chose not to spend any further money in the hotel so we had dinner and breakfast elsewhere.

The walls must be thin because you can hear water running all night long and the conversations next door. Not sure what is located above our room but you could hear chairs being moved around. The breakfast buffet staff was not friendly at all. The view was very nice and the man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t stay here again.
