Lovely little hide away lovely hosts amazing gardens so peaceful and a beautiful piece of Cornwall which is ideally situated for walking and touring west Cornwall A little bit of unspoiled England Would recommend if you want tranquility and enjoy lovely surroundings

A very enjoyable first visit to Cornwall. The cottage is just so perfect for a couple. A warm welcome from hosts Claire and Bernard with scones, clotted cream and jam waiting for us. We stayed 3 nights in October and we lit the woodburner every evening. It was like the outside world didn't exist.The next paragraph is meant as advice to future visitors: you will need a car with good ground clearance as the final couple of hundred yards to the cottage is a bridleway with a high grassy crown. The good ground clearance will also stand you in good stead around the rest of Cornwall's rural roads. We were planning on going in our BMW Z4, which would have been ruined had we done so. Instead we took a Nissan Qashqai and it coped.

Wir hatten einen freundlichen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber waren zuvorkommend und immer ansprechbar. Obwohl das Haus sehr ruhig lag, waren Aktivitäten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu erreichen.

Claire and Bern’s thoughtfully curated cottage is an absolute delight. Set in a beautiful, quiet location it was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area. The photos represented it well. I would definitely recommend it.

Sfeervol, rustig gelegen in prachtige tuin en op korte afstand van leuke uitstapjes zoals Land's End, Mousehole en St Michael's Mount. Met veel aandacht ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Voelt heel privé maar hosts reageren snel als je iets nodig hebt. Goed bed (stevig matras) en fijn zitje in het privédeel van de tuin. Punt van aandacht: de onverharde weg die vanaf het huis gezien naar links gaat, is niet geschikt voor personenauto's die laag op de weg liggen (de uitgesleten bandensporen maken dat het hogere, middelste deel van de weg je bodemplaat beschadigt of dat je mogelijk vast komt te zitten).
