Very quiet location tucked away on a country lane but with Newlyn and Penzance a short drive away. Good base for exploring the far south west. The accommodation is not luxurious but is comfortable and everything works. Small private courtyard garden plus access to a much larger area of garden and woodland.

A truly charming cottage. Ideal for peace and quiet. Very friendly hosts. Wonderful garden surrounding the cottage. Great local pub about 1 mile away. Lots of coves along this coast, all within a few miles drive.

Chyenhal Garden Cottage was a fantastic find!Very cosy and homely, there was scones cream and jam awaiting our arrival which was a lovely touch.The location was great for visiting places nearby.The garden and birds were a delight.

This is a perfect place for a quiet stay in Cornwall; a cabin set in a beautiful garden somewhat off the beaten track. Although in many ways remote, this is only around 30 minutes walk into Mousehole and about 10 minutes drive from Newlyn, Penzance and a couple of big supermarkets. You can even walk to Lamora Cove in a couple of hours. Lots of great places to see and a cream tea on arrival. Thank you for a great holiday.

Voelt heel privé maar hosts reageren snel als je iets nodig hebt. Goed bed (stevig matras) en fijn zitje in het privédeel van de tuin. Punt van aandacht: de onverharde weg die vanaf het huis gezien naar links gaat, is niet geschikt voor personenauto's die laag op de weg liggen (de uitgesleten bandensporen maken dat het hogere, middelste deel van de weg je bodemplaat beschadigt of dat je mogelijk vast komt te zitten).

The cottage was comfortable and clean. The weather was cold and wet when we were there and so we were not able to enjoy the garden but the rhododendron blooms were pretty. It was a good place for a base to visit southern Cornwall - Land's End, Lizard Point, Michael's Mount were some of the places we visited.

If you want peace and quiet this is the place. Lovely setting in a quiet location but only just a few short miles to so many beautiful Cornish attractions. The property is ideal for a couple and their dog to go exploring. It is well maintained and clean and the log burner makes it so cosy. Being greeted with a cream tea is delightful and even though we arrived a little early we were made to feel welcome. Everything you could need is provided and a very big thank you to our hosts. Would definitely stay again.

A very enjoyable first visit to Cornwall. The cottage is just so perfect for a couple. A warm welcome from hosts Claire and Bernard with scones, clotted cream and jam waiting for us. We stayed 3 nights in October and we lit the woodburner every evening. It was like the outside world didn't exist.The next paragraph is meant as advice to future visitors: you will need a car with good ground clearance as the final couple of hundred yards to the cottage is a bridleway with a high grassy crown. The good ground clearance will also stand you in good stead around the rest of Cornwall's rural roads. We were planning on going in our BMW Z4, which would have been ruined had we done so. Instead we took a Nissan Qashqai and it coped.

Very Friendly owners, Beautiful property, everything you need in property, lovely location. Would highly recommend it to anyone. Great for exploring Cornwall and going back to a beautiful peaceful place to relax. We had a Great stay and would love to return again.

Claire and Bern’s thoughtfully curated cottage is an absolute delight. Set in a beautiful, quiet location it was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area. The photos represented it well. I would definitely recommend it.

Eine sehr ruhige und beschauliche Ferienwohnung. Die Anfahrt ist etwas trickie, aber man erreicht von dort alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Gegend. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und freundlich.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely hosts and comfortable. Good use of space and well appointed. Definitely need a car for access as they have mentioned. Highly recommend.

Eine sehr ruhige und beschauliche Ferienwohnung. Die Anfahrt ist etwas trickie, aber man erreicht von dort alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Gegend. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und freundlich.

Very quiet location tucked away on a country lane but with Newlyn and Penzance a short drive away. Good base for exploring the far south west. The accommodation is not luxurious but is comfortable and everything works. Small private courtyard garden plus access to a much larger area of garden and woodland.

Delightful cottage, with everything you need.Spotlessly clean throughout, very comfortable and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Although quite isolated, it's only a short drive to Moushole, Newlyn & Penzance

A very enjoyable first visit to Cornwall. The cottage is just so perfect for a couple. A warm welcome from hosts Claire and Bernard with scones, clotted cream and jam waiting for us. We stayed 3 nights in October and we lit the woodburner every evening. It was like the outside world didn't exist.The next paragraph is meant as advice to future visitors: you will need a car with good ground clearance as the final couple of hundred yards to the cottage is a bridleway with a high grassy crown. The good ground clearance will also stand you in good stead around the rest of Cornwall's rural roads. We were planning on going in our BMW Z4, which would have been ruined had we done so. Instead we took a Nissan Qashqai and it coped.

I was very comfortable in this property, with all equipment that you may need provided. The bed was comfy and the countryside setting was pretty ( although I had a bit of trouble locating the house)

This is a perfect place for a quiet stay in Cornwall; a cabin set in a beautiful garden somewhat off the beaten track. Although in many ways remote, this is only around 30 minutes walk into Mousehole and about 10 minutes drive from Newlyn, Penzance and a couple of big supermarkets. You can even walk to Lamora Cove in a couple of hours. Lots of great places to see and a cream tea on arrival. Thank you for a great holiday.

Voelt heel privé maar hosts reageren snel als je iets nodig hebt. Goed bed (stevig matras) en fijn zitje in het privédeel van de tuin. Punt van aandacht: de onverharde weg die vanaf het huis gezien naar links gaat, is niet geschikt voor personenauto's die laag op de weg liggen (de uitgesleten bandensporen maken dat het hogere, middelste deel van de weg je bodemplaat beschadigt of dat je mogelijk vast komt te zitten).

Was bit out in middle of nowhere. Would have been nice to have had a local pub to go to in the evenings. Would not have risked walking anywhere at night too dark !

Claire and Bern’s thoughtfully curated cottage is an absolute delight. Set in a beautiful, quiet location it was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area. The photos represented it well. I would definitely recommend it.
