Hotel Batavia

It was close to a busy street and not far from the Central Station. It could be an issue if you are looking for a quiet place. (I had the streetside) The bed was excellent and the floor had an wooden one. The bathroom was basic but modern. It even got a small fridge. The essentials are good!! The elevator is very small/ narrow It could be a issue if you have a room on the 6th floor.

I was stayed at room 15. And only this room in hotel doesn't has card reader. They gave this room to me. Rest of things were fine.

Excellent séjour dans un hôtel à proximité du centre et du quartier japonais. Le personnel est très sympathique. Le plus: le frigo dans la chambre.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en zeer nette kamers. Enige minpuntje van ons waren de harde matrassen maar dat kan ook persoonlijk zijn. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum. Van te voren een parkeerplaats gereserveerd wat ideaal was. Kortom een fijn verblijf gehad.

Aardoge mensen, goede service. We waren vrij vroeg aangekomen en vroegen om bagage-opslag en later inchecken. Omdat ons gereserveerde kamer nog moest worden schoongemaakt, bood ze een andere kamer aan. We konden hierdoor gelijk inchecken. Mis wel thee en koffiefaciliteiten op de kamer. Kamers waren ruim en schoon. Fijne douche.

Das Hotel befindet sich in Little Tokyo, daher gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe eine große Auswahl an Restaurants und asiatischen Cafés und Supermärkten. Bahnhof und Innenstadt sind innerhalb von 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar und auch nachts haben wir uns in der Umgebung sehr sicher gefühlt, da in dem Stadtteil durch die vielen Lokale viel los ist. Ab 15 Uhr ist die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt. Zum Glück waren wir früher im Hotel und durften um 14 Uhr einchecken. Anscheinend funktioniert das neue „Code-System“ nicht einwandfrei, weshalb man uns eine Zimmerkarte gegeben hat. Dadurch hat das einchecken auch etwas länger gedauert, als man es sonst kennt. Dennoch war die Dame an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und auch am Hotel an sich habe ich nichts auszusetzen. Wer mit viel Gepäck anreist sollte wissen, dass der Aufzug sehr klein ist und gerade so eine Person mit Koffer hineinpasst. Das Hotel ist altmodisch eingerichtet, das Badezimmer wirkte jedoch frisch renoviert. Die Sauberkeit war OK. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren sauber, der Kühlschrank wurde scheinbar gar nicht abgewischt. Sonst war nicht viel Lärm von außen wahrnehmbar. Unser Zimmer schaute auf einen Innenhof und besaß eine Balkontür, die zu einer Feuertreppe führte. Insgesamt win solides Hotel mit guter Lage, für den Preis würde ich jedoch nächstes mal ein anderes Hotel wählen.

Det eneste vi savnede var at kunne lave kaffe på værelset og noget Airconditon. God service, morgenmad og belliggenhed.

This place was pretty good for the price. Not far from the city center. There was good and safe parking!

För priset jag betalade (1800kr) var det ett bra hotel. Sängarna var hårda och utsikten var okej som bäst. För priset så får man mer gå in för att det inte är ett lyxhotell. Trevlig personal, grattis kaffe nere i lobbyn och centralt.

Voor aankomst parkeren geregeld en dat was goed doorgekomen. Kosten €20,- maar voor een grote stad is dat netjes. Verder Altstad op 1,5 km en in de hoofdstraat zit een leuk Brauhaus waar je goed kan eten en zeker kan drinken. Qua eten kun je met de vele nationaliteiten je hart ophalen en is er voor iedereen wel iets. Ben in vele Duitse steden geweest maar Düsseldorf hangt een fijne sfeer. Kortom wij gaan zeker terug. En dan is het Rugs Hotel zeker een optie voor ons 👍😉

Zimmer war ruhig und sehr sauber

I arrived and entered my code to get in. I went to my room and entered the code to enter. I entered the room and there were two undressed guests inside. They ran and slammed the door closed. I was traumatised. Reception is unmanned during check-in hours so I called them. Got through to AI receptionist who would only speak German. Eventually, after multiple calls, it switched to English, then transferred me to a human. The human gave me a different room number and code. I went back up the stairs with my luggage, tried to enter that room, but the code was wrong. I went back down the 4 flights of stairs and called again, multiple times because the AI receptionist was ignoring my request to transfer to human. Finally I was given a working code door, now traumatised and exhausted. The room looked clean, but then I found a long black hair on my pillow case. This made me feel I'm sleeping on used, unwashed pillow cases. No one at reception and stupid AI phone service if I call, so nothing I could do. Only two very thin pillows, no spare in the cupboard. Luckily, it was me alone, so I used both. I paid for one double bed, but was now in two single beds. There is no door on the bathroom due to the space, so expect smells to spread to the room unless you close the other bedroom door. The smell is still in your hallway. Sound proofing is not good, woken up multiple times with people entering their codes and opening the lift door despite both my doors closed.

When I asked the receptionist I was advised “weather has caused the WiFi issue, and this is German WiFi”. 4. Room was too warm. Even with the windows open and desk fan blowing.

Mycket prisvärt med bra läge. Tyst och stort rum.

Rent och prydligt rum men väldigt hårda, obekväma sängar. Ingen bemannad reception. Mycket bra frukost.

Aardig personeel achter de balie. De matrassen waren helaas steenhard, waardoor wij geen oog dicht deden en met rugpijn weggingen. We hadden gevraagd of er zachtere matrassen waren, maar dit was er niet. Ze hadden wel toppers om erop te leggen die iets zachter waren, dat was behulpzaam van het personeel. Dit maakte het alleen niet veel beter. Wij zullen niet nog eens hierheen gaan of aanbevelen.

I came to visit friends and have stayed here many times before and as always I was greeted by the brilliant reception staff. I have enjoyed the spacious room and the quietness of the location which is near but far enough away from the main road not to be disturbed by traffic noise or late night revellers. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Alles super nur die Matratzen sind eine Zumutung. Leider sind die so hart, dass man genauso gut auch auf dem Boden schlafen könnte. Ansonsten war das Zimmer einwandfrei und die Angestellte super freundlich.

Brilliant location for Düsseldorf Central and the Messe exhibition hall, lovely room with free hot drinks (if you didn't want to sit for breakfast) and the lady at reception was fantastic at helping me retrieve my lost luggage from the airport. Would recommend!

La llegada al hotel fue fácil, aún llegando de noche. El mismo día de nuestra llegada nos mandaron toda la información necesaria para el self check in y nos facilitó mucho el proceso. La habitación fue justo que necesitábamos (fue una estándar) logramos acomodarnos teniendo muchas maletas con nosotros y el colchón y duvet fueron muy cómodos. Los servicios del baño servían perfectamente y la calefacción estuvo ideal en días de frio y lluvia ligera. Nosotros pagamos el desayuno y fue de lo mas variado que comimos en nuestro viaje. Es sencillo pero llenador y su maquina de café preparaba un café con leche delicioso. La recepción trabaja con alguien de planta hasta las 3pm, pero no hubo ningún problema con eso ya que las horas que estaban disponibles estuvieron atentas a nuestras preguntas y necesidades. Pudimos encargar nuestras maletas el día del check out para visitar otra ciudad cercana y queremos agradecerles mucho que se quedaron unos minutos más de las 3pm para que lográramos llegar de regreso despues de problemas con los trenes de regreso. Muchas gracias!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und schönes, großes Zimmer. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher nur für eine Nacht dort. Würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

First the hotel signs was from another hotel. When checking in I was told that hotel had no 24/7 service after 21.30 I would have to walk in thruu a special gate/door using my key card. When comin to the hotel at 22 my key card did not work and no oe was answering the phone. After waiting outside for quite a while I could come in to the hotel by joining another guest that had a functional key card. But my card did not work at my hotel room. I sat down on floor outside the room trying to get comfoatable and frequently trying to call on the reception number. After a couple of hours I had to start saving battery. But when hearing som noice that indicated some kind of work I did a try and a guy answered and could help me with a functional key card. Never Rugs again.

Location is good, near the main station.

Brilliant location for Düsseldorf Central and the Messe exhibition hall, lovely room with free hot drinks (if you didn't want to sit for breakfast) and the lady at reception was fantastic at helping me retrieve my lost luggage from the airport. Would recommend!

In questo hotel ci vado per lavoro, il prezzo pagato vale il costo, si tratta di una struttura datata ma confortevole, nei pressi della stazione e serviata sia dal tram che dalla metro a poca distanza. Nel periodo del salone nautico offre prezzi molto competitivi, camere calde e una buona colazione, un buon compromesso per chi non vuole spendere troppo per il soggiorno in città.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr gümstige Lake zwischen Hbf ud Königsallee, sehr vieles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist ist ebenso freundlich wie schnell.

Uns hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Freundliches Personal. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstück. Gern wieder.
