We chose this hotel for an overnight stay in between flights. There is no shuttle bus from the airport and taxis cost Eu 22 each way. For this reason, we would look elsewhere should we need a hotel again the the same circumstances. We were also disappointed at the lack of a restaurant with only a limited bar menu and room service. We did however take the U-Bahn (5 stops) into the Altstadt where there is a wide selection of eateries.

Liebes Team von Expedia, unser Hotelaufenthalt im Hilton Düsseldorf vom 30.6. bis 2.7.2023 ist etwas turbulent verlaufen. Das einchecken verlief problemlos und die Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr freundlich. Am Morgen des 1.7.2023 wurden wir jedoch um 8:00 Uhr durch die Feuerwehr geweckt. Mehrere Etagen des Hotels mussten evakuiert werden, so auch wir. Während des Feuerwehreinsatzes konnten wir das Hotel natürlich nicht wieder betreten. Da wir zum Teil unsere Schlafanzüge trugen, war das Personal so hilfsbereit und verteilte Bademäntel um sich vor dem Regen zu schützen und zu wärmen. Nachdem der Feuerwehreinsatz beendet war, konnten wir das Hotel gegen 11 Uhr wieder betreten. Das gebuchte Frühstück ist dementsprechend ausgefallen. Einige Etagen wurden freigegeben. Es war jedoch recht chaotisch in der Lobby und vorerst wusste niemand vom Personal welche Etagen betreten werden sollten. Es bedurfte einiger Eigeninitiative dies herauszufinden. Die Feuerwehrleute waren sehr freundlich und hatten den Überblick. Zurück im Zimmer hieß es dann anziehen und fertig machen - ohne Wasser, das lief noch nicht wieder. Zurück in der Lobby fragte ich nach, ob wir das Hotel wechseln müssten oder wir unseren Aufenthalt ohne Einschränkungen fortsetzen könnten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, der vom Hause aus planmäßig vorgesehene Service für die Etagen mit Zimmern der Standardausstattung ist allerdings schlecht. Die Minibar ist dort standardmäßig leer und wird nur auf eine extra zu formulierende Anfrage hin bestückt (nicht einmal eine kleine Flasche Wasser) - so die Auskunft auf Nachfrage hin. Auch die Badezimmerausstattung ist auf das Nötigste reduziert. Ein Parkplatz wird ebenfalls extra berechnet und ist für 24h nicht besonders günstig. Von einem Hotel mit diesem Namen hatte ich mir - auch im Standardzimmer - etwas mehr erhofft.

We hadden juist dit hotel geboekt ivm incheck tijd. Maar helaas na 3 maal terug naar receptie kamers ruim een uur na inchecktijd nog niet klaar. Opzicht niet zo erg maar de totaal ongeïnteresseerde houding en gebreken aan informatie van personeel was erg vervelend. Toen we uiteindelijk ‘s nachts terugkwamen om in te checken werd dit niet beter. Faciliteiten info is ook niet correct er is geen 24 uur roomservice. Dus uiteraard met honger naar bed

Leider war der Stuhl kaputt gekratzt und die Bettwäsche hatte Flecken sowie Haare drauf. Die Ablagen haben auch länger keinen Lappen mehr gesehen. Bei meiner Kollegin war im Bad noch die großen hinterlassen schafften des Vorgängers zu sehen.

Für ein Hilton war das Zimmer in keinem Optimalen Zustand. An der decke platzte der Putz ab. Im Bad gab es verrostete Siphons die Fliesenfugen waren mit Stockflecken versehen. Die Handtücher hatten noch Schmutzflecken. Das Essen am Abend bei einer Veranstaltung war so schlecht, das wir die Veranstaltung vorzeitig verlassen haben. Das Obst, das wir als Entschädigung vom Haus aufs Zimmer gebracht kamen, wurde von der Servicekraft erst Einmal über den Boden im Flur gerollt. Der einzige Lichtblick war das Personal, das sehr freundlich war. Die Dame an der Rezeption war bei der Abreise so nett, und hat uns für das verkorkste Wochenende die Parkgebühren erlassen.

Schon von außen dachte ich mir, das kann doch nicht das Hilton sein, zumal ich das Hilton aus Dortmund kenne; diese beiden Hotels sind nicht vergleichbar. Hilton Düsseldorf, schon von außen unsauber. Die Lobby und die Rezeption war schön und sauber, wie die Bar auch, top! Die Flure zu den Zimmern rochen sehr stark, Geruch nicht zu definieren. Unser Zimmer, nee, nicht wirklich gut. Ein sehr befleckter Sessel, ein ziemlich verkommener Schreibtischstuhl, Haare zum Empfang im Waschbecken, das kann und sollte so kein Hilton sein. Einzig die Preise in der Bar und im Restaurant waren Hilton. Noch positiv zum erwähnen ist das Frühstück, das meiste jedenfalls, besser gesagt alles bis auf die Brötchen, als wären diese zum Teil vom Vortrag gewesen. Noch einmal, das Hilton in Dortmund ist um Längen besser. Einwandfrei war das Personal, ohne Ausnahme super! Das Personal ist Hilton!

Easily accessible, close to the tram and close to where we had to be. It was clean, bathroom was nice and the highlight for us was the fridge and the closeness to the supermarket. A/C was a nice bonus and it wasn't really noisy. Pillows could have been better though.

It was an extremely busy weekend and the elevators were going every few seconds. I asked at reception to move rooms, and the answer was they are full. More than one person throughout our stay stated that they do not book out the rooms next to the elevators unless they are fully booked. So, they clearly know the rooms next to the elevators are not fit for purpose! We were advised we could change rooms the following morning, however in the cold light of the next morning it did not prove that simple. About 1pm and third different person of asking, a very helpful person did allocate us a different room. The first night really spoilt it for us.

DEr Checkin war eine Katastrophe und hat fast eine Stunde gedauert - ein Lob noch einmal an die ausdauernd freundliche Bearbeiterin an der Anmeldung! Warum so lange? Von 3 über Hotels gebuchten zimmern waren nur 2 bei Hilton angemeldet, die Buchung für das 3. Zimmer gab es nicht. Die Zimmer wurden in einer Buchung gemeinsam gebucht. Und genau in diesen Momenten fehlt der Hotels-Service gaz eklatant. Da gibnt es dann keinen der helfen oder unterstützen kann - ich überdenke unsere Buchungsstrategie!

Wie erwartet: tolle und komfortable Zimmer Aber: wir, 2 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) waren nach mehrstündiger Anreise schon um 13 Uhr da und haben höflich gefragt, ob wir schon früher ins Zimmer können. Es war kein Problem, dass es nicht ging ABER wie es uns gesagt wurde. Um 15 Uhr gab es dann eine lange Warteschlange :-( Die Zimmer waren nicht verbunden, obwohl es uns zugesagt wurde. Auch der Wunsch unserer Kinder nach einer höheren Etage wurde nicht berücksichtigt. Beim Frühstück gab es überall Warteschlangen und wir mussten in einem Nebenraum essen. Auch dort gab es nur Zimmer für 4. :-( das ist viel Mimimi, unsere Erwartungen wurden aber schlicht nicht erfüllt

We hadden juist dit hotel geboekt ivm incheck tijd. Maar helaas na 3 maal terug naar receptie kamers ruim een uur na inchecktijd nog niet klaar. Opzicht niet zo erg maar de totaal ongeïnteresseerde houding en gebreken aan informatie van personeel was erg vervelend. Toen we uiteindelijk ‘s nachts terugkwamen om in te checken werd dit niet beter. Faciliteiten info is ook niet correct er is geen 24 uur roomservice. Dus uiteraard met honger naar bed

Easily accessible, close to the tram and close to where we had to be. It was clean, bathroom was nice and the highlight for us was the fridge and the closeness to the supermarket. A/C was a nice bonus and it wasn't really noisy. Pillows could have been better though.

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay in between flights. There is no shuttle bus from the airport and taxis cost Eu 22 each way. For this reason, we would look elsewhere should we need a hotel again the the same circumstances. We were also disappointed at the lack of a restaurant with only a limited bar menu and room service. We did however take the U-Bahn (5 stops) into the Altstadt where there is a wide selection of eateries.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tram to town was afew minutes walk from the hotel and so was the bus stop. Aqua zoo which is a must visit if you have kids is also close-by. The breakfast spread was amazing. Probably need to check on general cleaning of the accomodqyon area and afew repairs for the older furniture etc.

I have stayed at this Hilton hotel before. They have moved restaurant and restaurant quality went down a lot. Much less food to choose, looks like American motel breakfast now. Other than that it’s good hotel, clean, comfy beds, although needs better pillows. Will I stay here again - yes.

We have stayed at several Hilton hotels in different countries and cities, and we have always been very satisfied with the service, breakfast, and overall quality. Unfortunately, Hilton Düsseldorf was by far the worst Hilton experience we have ever had. It has nothing in common with the elegance, cleanliness, and high standards we associate with the Hilton brand. When we arrived after a long journey from Sweden, I asked for help with our luggage, but the receptionist told me to carry it myself. The rooms were old and outdated. There were no slippers and no bathroom amenities or hygiene kits provided. I also asked for extra bath towels because the two we had were already wet, but the receptionist simply replied that we already had two towels. Sadly, this hotel did not meet the standards we have come to expect from Hilton.
