Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa

Store, komfortable rom, hyggelig betjening og veldig sentralt. Frokost kostet 519 kr, noe som er det dyreste jeg har sett på hoteller. Maten står ikke i stil med prisen!

Udmærket hotel. Godt (superior)værelse med lækkert badeværelse. Pengeskab. Savnede et USB-stik ved den ene seng.

Fint hotell ved dokkene og en hyggelig turvei langs vannet inn mot v&a og sentrum. Bra med parkering. Vi hadde firemannsrom og det var helt ok for fire voksne selvom litt trangt. Hotellet har et lite svømmebasseng og boblebad som var fint. Mange vannaktiviteter for barn rett utenfor. Restauranter rett ved. Ville bodd her igjen.

Been going to Dundee Apex for many years, and it is a handy hotel for a night away for tired parents in need of time away from the chaos of balancing kids home and work. The main reason why we stay at this place is the swimming pool and sauna. We stayed in the middle of April but it was very busy - it was almost impossible to swim without bumping into people. This was after waiting for 30 min till the space became available, but it seems that a few people just ignored the queue and walked in (not that it was the staff’s fault but perhaps needs tighter management). The pool, the general look of the place suggests that it is perhaps time for a refurbishment and it is looking rather tired in places. The water was very white and cloudy and it was really had to see where I was going while swimming. As I sat in the sauna, I found it hard to bear the foul language from people who jumped the queue (from what I overheard they were members for the leisure facility). Every second word was a swear word. It wasn’t exactly a relaxing time that I hoped for. The bar seems under staffed and it was very hard to get someone to come and get an order for a very long time and as for settling the bill, I ended up walking into the restaurant area that was now being tidied up to get someone. The refreshment drink near the reception wasn’t replenished so nothing in the dispenser… it just felt like the management gave up trying. It is such a shame.

The staff that cleaned the rooms were excellent but the response from the spa manager Ryan leaves a lot to desire we had booked a massage and paid £80 for it explaining that we were only there for 4 nights when we turned up for the massage they could not find any record of the booking when they did finally find the booking it was for a week later the staff explained that the manager had to pass the refund when he finally got in touch with me I got no apology no sorry for the inconvenience this caused as it was for a special gift to my wife’s sister on her birthday and retirement only wanted my bank details for the refund which would take 5-7 days all in all quite a disappointing few days also pool cold and hot tub out of order for our full stay
