This review seems to be being blocked because it’s negative- It meets all provided guidelines. We have now retained a lawyer. Let’s start with this “hotel” is actually a few rooms above a dental office. Which would be fine if I booked on Airbnb/vrbo, but I booked a hotel. There are zero amenities. No extra towels if you need. No additional tissues or TP when needed- there is no front desk. Getting into the building was difficult as our code didn’t work. Arguably the worst part though is the location. While they claim “lakeview” they dont mention there is an entire highway with an on/off ramp literally 10 feet from your window. It sounded like we were sleeping ON the highway. Also terrible was the wall of glass blocks above the sofa bed with no curtains- something an actual hotel would never do. The unit itself also was not clean, pictures included. Literal cobwebs in the all the corners and bobby pins on the floor in the bathroom- clearly the floor wasnt even moped! We reached out and the “hotel” refused to do anything and disputed the presence of curtains and claimed it to be clean- good thing pictures dont lie. It was such a terrible night with a 4 year old up all night with the sound, then up at dawn with the sunlight, we didnt even stay the second night- that they refused to refund. When we got a text day 2 asking how the stay was, we said poor, they asked why and we explained- no response. Not even an apology. Terrible. Avoid.

Great spot for being downtown. Good lakeside view, clean room, comfy room and bed. A little noise from the highway along the lake but no big deal.

No local tv for weather or news which I found interesting since a source change with wall mount antenna would be an easy fix. Otherwise the location was perfect.

Easy self checkin, great

We travel to Duluth often and unfortunately will not be visiting this property again. Location is a plus, within walking distance to many attractions. Our room was very disappointing. First, it smelled, smoke and must. It was not clean: dust on the end tables, hair on tables and in the shower, slimy brown gobs on the shower curtain, and a random Bobby pin on the carpet. We also booked a room for 3 people: one adult and two kids. The room was a queen and a sofa bed. There were no sheets for the sofa bed. We tried messaging the property two different ways with no response. My son ended up sleeping with a provided blanket and pillow, on a leather couch. We won’t return or recommend.
