Casa Franco Old Town

Sadece konaklama için kullandık gayet iyiydi her yere rahat ulaştık ama arabamızı mecburen otoparka bırakmamız gerekti o da yürüme mesafesiydi çok sorun yaşamadık.

We stayed in room 402 in August 30th 2023 for 4 nights. There was a dead coachroach on entering the premises. The room was a quite small for 4 people. We were shown to our room and then there was absolutely no service. I got extra toilet paper from the restaurant attached to the hotel. No one came to clean the room and the garbage kept piling up despite my request to have the room cleaned. We ate breakfast once. It was average, but you can only eat breakfast when the restaurant is open. If you need breakfast at 7am for example, you would be out of luck. The fellow at the reception was friendly but didnt know much about anything as he was new and he was rarely there. There is no lobby area, so when you are tired of your room, there is no place to go outside the room. The hallways were also dimly lit. The lighting was really inadequate. This hotel really need an upgrade. We were fooled by the image on expedia which did not reflect the aged hotel it is. A difficult experience on the whole. To my surprise, there were many other places in the neighbourhood with the same price and with so much more facilities.

ANCAK, yatak taş gibi, sanki yerde yatmışız gibi sertti, sabah çok yorgun uyandık, yolu bölüp gece dinlenmek için tutmuştuk, ama dinlemedik kötü oldu.

Está en pleno casco histórico, bien para ir andando a cualquier lado pero mal para aparcar. El personal muy atento. Las habitaciones necesitan una renovación en cuanto a colchones y ropa de cama.

This was located in the Old Town, parking, driving in that area is very difficult (parking was not possible). You have to park about a 8 minute walk away. But it was a great hotel. Old Town is amazing and there are so many places to eat and shop.

The hotel was surprisingly quiet, although it’s located in the center of the old town. Nice stone building, smells nice, good price.

Location couldn't be better for people arriving by foot. It is right in the center of the old town (Kaleici area). It could be a problem to drive in the narrow streets leading to the hotel that does not have parking space.

Oppholdet var greit nok. Dårlig i ternett, fikk ikke frokost på avreise dagen da restauranten ikke åpnet før kl 09. Den skulle ha åpnet 08.00. Problemer med vann i toalettet. Ingen plass å sitte ute, uten å mått kjøpe noe.

Antalya'da Kaleiçi mevkiinde olmasına ve otelin araç parkı bulunmamasına rağmen bize otelcsahibi ve 2 çalışan personel elinden geldiğince destek olup çözüm yarattılar. Karşılama oldukça iyiydi. Odamız oldukça geniş tam bir aile odası ve tertemizdi. Banyo ve odadaki ekipmanlar herşey düşünülmüş, hiç bir eksik olmadığı gibi özen ve itina üst seviyedeydi. After two nights of staying in this hotel, we found out they have bed bugs. My boyfriend was badly bitten by bed bugs at night. I saw a few reviews that the hotel has been cleaned and that they have taken the necessary measures to get rid of them but it’s not true. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, if you already have a reservation, CANCEL IT! It’s not worth it, even if they have a nice location and good price for the rooms, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The economy room in the ground floor is tiny with no windows. The walls are paper thin so you can hear conversations from guests in the rooms upstairs and in the corridor area. We found three dead cockroaches on the floor in the room.

Otelde kaldığımız süre boyunca her şeyden çok memnun kaldık. Özellikle temizlik konusunda gösterilen özen bizi çok etkiledi. Odalar düzenli, hijyenik ve çok konforluydu. Personel de ilgili ve yardımseverdi. Kesinlikle tekrar tercih edeceğim bir otel

Otel ahşap ağırlıklı olduğu için maalesef tahta kurusu vardı yataklarımızda .. kötü bir deneyimdi bizim için. Dilerim daha hijyen bir ortam sağlamak adına gerekli önlemleri alırlar.

The room was infested with bedbugs. Had very rough night, couldn't stay and checked out.

Bra beliggenhet. Ligger i gamlebyen. Restauranter over alt. Fin frokost inkludert i oppholdet. Selve hotellet er gammel og slitt. Rommet luktet fukt eller lignende. Toalettet var i rent i det hele tatt og var fuktig. Det en god del lyd fra utsiden til sent på kvelden. Anbefaler for kortere opphold.

The location of the property is close to Hadrian's gate and the beach which is perfect for tourist! The rooms are cleaned everyday and staffs are responsive. Thank you!!

Odanın banyosu sağlık açısından çok kötü ve banyosunda böcek bulduk. Sağlıklı olmadığı için Orada konaklama yapmadan ayrıldık. Otelden tam ücret iadesi istediğim zaman olumsuz dönüş yaptılar. Fotoğrafa bakmanızı tavsiye ederim!

The hotel has a perfect location in the old town, the rooms are small but serviceable. I paid for 4 days but left after 3. My bed was 3m from and 1m below a restaurant table on the street separated by a double window and a curtain. The restaurant and street noise was extreme. I reserved a room with a queen bed (I'm a big guy) but got a room with twin beds, they promised night 1 and 2 to fix it. On day 3 they pushed them together but otherwise left them the same. In all aspects the staff was unconcerned. I wanted a bottle of water but had to go twice to the restaurant asking for it to finally get it.

The staff were all wonderful; friendly, accommodating, warm, helpful! The hotel is in a really vibrant part of old town Antalya so if you’re looking for quiet, don’t book in Old Town. I changed the location of my room and had peaceful nights the remainder of my days.

Everything was great except the wifi

Ideally situated in the heart of the Old Town, the apartment was clean with a comfortable bed. We were only in the apartment from late evening until morning, exploring the nearby area during the day. A couple of negatives for our economy room which was on the ground floor with tables right outside our closed window. It was noisy at night and the tables outside our window were in constant use and the curtains were see through as we could see people sitting at the tables do privacy and soundproofing was not great. The television did not work either, however overall it was still good value for money.

Flott beliggenhet, behagelig pris, stort rom, varmt vann i dusjen, nydelig milkshake, hyggelig personale. Masse restauranter rett utenfor hotell døra. Litt biltrafikk utenfor, så med små barn er ikke å anbefale. Alt i alt perfekt for meg, jeg booker der igjen 😊

The WiFi was not working in our rooms. Apart from that the Room is perfect, clean and the staff is very friendly. It’s is also located in the old town which makes it very convenient to travel around the city centre.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the tourist area. Scores of restaurant options, shopping and historical sites. The rooms was quaint. I recommend the second floor, the rooms a larger and quieter. Staff were very helpful and attentive, especially Fuerzon and Kadir.

Situated really good bang in the middle of everything but our room got very little light from outside, also the shower could do with updating breakfast was good a variety of a lot different salads ( Turkish breakfast only )

Otele geldiğimizde ( uçağımız erken geldiği için normal şartlarda öğlen 14.00 de girmemiz gereken otele) sabah 9.30 da uğrayıp en azından bavullarımızı bırakalım dedik ama odamız hazırmış erkenden hemen odamıza aldılar ve kahvaltı saati bitmediği için hakkımız olmadığı halde hemen kahvaltı ikram edebileceklerini söylediler. Karşılanmamız mükemmeldi. Özellikle Mert Beye ve Nezahat hanıma her türlü yardımlarından dolayı teşekkür ederiz. Otelimiz kale içinde çok güzel bir konumdaydı. Dışarıda kafeler dolu olmasına rağmen odamız gayet sessizdi. Çarşaflarımız, havlularımız çok temizdi. Sabah kahvaltımız harikaydı. 4x4 lük diyebilirim. Otel kaleiçinde çok iyi konumda olduğundan her yere yürüterek gidebildik. Havaalanından otele, otelden havaalanına tranvay ile kolayca ulaştık. Tekrar Antalya'ya geldiğimizde tetcihimiz kesinlikle burası olacak.

Get one cheesecake between two! Two oldies in December found it quiet and comfortable, it might not be so quiet in the summer.

We were checked into the wrong room! And this was smaller than the one booked! This room seemed much older and less modern than the one booked and was dirty. As we had arranged a trip and had to be out within 5-10 minutes to make our connection, we decided to deal with the problems on our return. When we communicated our displeasure to the manger he was helpful and said he will try and get the room booked for the next day. At this time I was informed that we could have our drinks and meal free of charge! At this point we were having a drink after our tour and resting. Later we had a meal and 2 drinks and retired to bed as we had a tour booked for the next day at 9.00 am. As we got ready for bed the manager came to the door and tried to insist on payment for our meal & drinks. When I challenged him on this. He told me he only meant what we were having at the time, before our evening meal? I was later informed the owner said the drinks & meal would not be charged for. The next day we had a trip booked for 9.00 am breakfast only started at 8.30 am which left little time as it was served even later we could not eat our breakfast & had to leave. On our return from our trip we were informed that the original was ready to see. However we were to tired to contemplate moving, so decided to stay were we were.

The girl that worked in this hotel was more then rude.When tried to talk to her she said no English .Without any explanation she was pushing me to sign visa receipt, which I signed because she was pushy. When they showed the room where we needed to stay I almost had a panic attack because the room has very very small window, I felt I was like in tunnel.I didn’t feel comfortable to stay in that room I asked the room with normal size of the window .They called someone who speaks English he said I have to pay if I want the room with windows . On the internet the price for the room was the same as the one I paid for. I tried to show them on the internet the price they didn’t want to look at it.I was was very disappointed with their behaviour and ended up crying.At the end they told me you have three choices: to stay in this room; to pay more to have better room or we will give you money. I gave them visa card and told them I want money back. They just ignored me.I came back tomorrow asking them why they didn’t accept my card , they told me that they cannot refund me today as the offer was for yesterday . They advised that Expedia, told them: “we heard your and her(mine) story we don’t know what happened, do not pay her(me) .”I contacted Expedia and they told me that they are still waiting for response from the hotel. I paid hotel room that I didn’t stay in. That was on Oct 4,2023 and I still have not received any response from them. Instead to enjoy my vacation I had this …

The hotel is charming and in an excellent location in the old town. The bed was comfortable and the room spotless. Only took a star off because there was no water for a shower in the morning, not just no hot water but no water from taps. Unfortunate when 40 degrees C outside. Aircon was also good in the room too.

After the first two days I decided to stay another 5 days in the same hotel with friendly and helpful staff like Sedat and Eray and a nice, clean and spacious room, a hotel in the middle of the old town and near the city center and the sea.

Great Hotel right in middle of Antalya Old Town. All historical places are 5 mins walk from here. Food is also great.

Location couldn't be better for people arriving by foot. It is right in the center of the old town (Kaleici area). It could be a problem to drive in the narrow streets leading to the hotel that does not have parking space.

Mycket bra Hotel. Jag stannade 4 dagar men hade lust att stanna 1 månad. Ett av dom 3 bästa Hotellen jag har bott på ock jag har rest mycket. Ett stort plus är Mr Franco's Pizzor. Du hittar bara bättre i Italien. Jag kommer med glädje rekommendera Famous Family House till mina vänner och bekanta...höll på att glömma tacka den mycket trevliga Personalen !

This was a great stay. Comfortable bed. Appealing room and very accommodating with the couple of requests we had. The free breakfast included was quite good and the lunch we had there was even better and prices were more than reasonable. And it was in a great location in the old town.

Oppholdet var greit, renholdet var heller dårlig. Dusjen var dårlig vasket, vannkoker og 2 kopper på rommet. Koppene var brune inni etter kaffe 😠 Vi ble skulle få frokost kl 08.00 den kom ikke før kl 08.45 så det ble lite mat, da taxi kom kl 09.00

Otelin konumu cok iyiydi. Kaleicinde baska bir yere gidip takilma ihtiyaci duymadik.Otelin altinda yemek ve icecekleri ile keyifli zaman gecirdik. Pizzalari efsaneydi.

Property needs an upgrade. Breakfast was supposedly at 8am. It was moved to 8.30am. Yet when we sat down to dine at 8.30am, we were told that the kitchen staff wouldn't be in until 9am. We had tours booked so for the three days we were there, we weren't able to avail any breakfast at all because of the above reason. Aside from that, there was often no one in reception when we needed something.
