Okay. A little dated but they are renovating and adding restaurant. Clean

The property is conveniently located on the main highway through Lac La Biche. New ownership is in place and the property needs updating and at least in the main building that I was in. I would rate it as a 2-3 star property.

It was SO bad. Bathtub was broken. Bathroom tile broken. Baseboard heater broken. No coffee maker in the room. No remote for the TV. Vending machines were empty. The "restaurant" was used for folding motel linens.

Our booking included breakfast but on arrival we were told the kitchen was under renovation. We decided not to stay and were promptly refunded.

Really age stone old property depsite in renovation process. The room didn't have cloth hangers. Air cond only cam set at 67F, temperature adjustment will trip the unit. Difficult to adjust shower water temperature. Toilet bowl requires numerous flushing otherwise cannot be flush. Toilet bowl has disgusting black marks that never flushed. The door chain lock felt off immediately after entered the room.

It was a surprisingly quaint place, soon to become a Travelodge by Wyndham, but it has everything that's absolutely essential, namely easy access and parking, a warm comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. The complementary continental breakfast was actually a surprise to me and it was fine. My only issue was that it could get a bit noisy in that if someone flushed a toilet in a room above or nearby, I was able to hear the water rushing lously. Still, it was excellent value overall.

I'm glad the breakfast was provided, otherwise the Motel itself was okay. I've had similar pricing and cheaper with way more amenities inside.

Staff was very attentive and made sure we didn’t have any issues or concerns throughout our stay. The facilities are great value for the price. No exercise facilities, restaurant or anything extra on site, but continental breakfast was provided and was fresh. Bedding was decent, rooms and common areas were clean and tidy. TV’s could use upgrading, but that will come I’m sure. All in all, a pleasant and relaxing stay and would definitely stay here again.

The room didn’t appear to be cleaned prior to arrival There was dried food ketchup on the table beside the beds No coffee maker in room the continental breakfast wasn’t even available . Asked for coffee and it was stone cold. The curtains didn’t close all the way The bathroom vent was disgusting Lamp shades looked burnt Tv remote only flipped between 4 channels I know older hotel that’s been renovated but for 100 bucks a night …… the staff were very nice though keep that up!

The staff was friendly, place was clean and the pillows were awesome comfortable!

The room was surface clean. I had dropped my glasses and looked under bed when I picked them up and there was dried food and lots of dust buildup

No toilet paper in the room and towels had a musky smell to them.

Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. Rooms were not cleaned at all. 4 nights we stayed. No vending machines. All empty. Rooms had a strange odor and heat was impossible to set and very dry to the point of bleeding nose.

Cleanliness was below average. The bathroom toilet was leaking and the tub was dirty. The room smell was of stale reminiscent of a room that was smoked in. Nev

The room was very clean and smelt fresh. The service was wonderful and the manager very helpful. Wifi was having issues however the manager took care of things and went above and beyond. I was very greatful.

Great hotel if you are on a budget or need somewhere to stay overnight. Welcoming staff & eager to please. The owner checked our room, put on the TV, lights & AC for us. That was a nice touch & really appreciated! Beds were VERY comfortable. Nice soft pillows. Large TV and Internet was fast. Newly renovated room. Bathroom was updated. Super clean. The adjoining restaurant is closed for renovations but we were treated to a nice continental breakfast there. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the Lac La Biche area.

Get what you pay for. Decent enough place for a overnite stay. Definitely an older motel, showing its age. Clean as they can make it. Continental breakfast was average.

I stayed for two nights and found my room and bed very comfortable. It’s a simple hotel but it’s clean, comfortable, with friendly staff. The owner was also about and he would check in on us personally when he saw us. The TV is a little older so if you are stopping to rest and watch a show, the image is a little blurry, but otherwise good. The kitchen was undergoing maintenance during my stay, so the breakfast was a cold continental - coffee, tea, juice, and pastries like croissants, cookies, and muffins. Coffee was good. I was told they sometimes have a warm breakfast like eggs when the kitchen is functional. The AC worked really well and kept the room cool, not noisy at all. Although the location is right at the main entrance of Lac La Biche, the area is quiet, probably because of a school across the street so cars slow down, and you can walk to the downtown to check out the handful of shops and restaurants there are. There weren’t a lot of people, but I could hear other patrons walking and talking when they passed in front of my door, so maybe not as private as other places. If all you need is a clean, comfortable place to sleep and don’t mind a light breakfast, this is a a nice spot. If you are looking for a place with other amenities like a pool for the kids, not so close to the downtown area, or away from a main road, then maybe not. Price is very affordable! Would consider staying there again.

The hotel was able to accommodate my stay last minute at a great price, and the staff were incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with! Amazing deal!

There was no one at the front desk and when someone did come after approx 20 minutes they did not have my reservation. The front desk gal was also rude to another cleaning employee who was trying to help me. “Continental hot breakfast” was self serve as in we were told by staff to go into the hotel kitchen and serve ourselves to the bread and muffins on the counter…..

The manager Rav was above and beyond for service and consideration. Never seen anything like it. I’ll never stay anywhere else when I’m lac labiche. Just because of him

The management was very accommodating

I booked this on Expedia for my son and prepaid for him. The booking was under his name. The staff still charged him. He had to go to management to get reimbursed.

It was a convenient place for the night while my dog was at the vet. The room was nice, quiet for the most part. There is train tracks nearby, but I only heard it twice and it wasn't super late or super early in the morning so not an inconvenience. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Property was good.. Room was clean. Staff very friendly.. the breakfast was horrible over cooked boiled eggs the breaker kept kicking out 2 types of bread with hard butter and cheap jam no peanut butter

Is an older hotel. But clean and a good value. Other hotels aren’t worth what they charge for in the area. Continental breakfast leaves something to be desired though.
