Person at check in could not give me a receipt or even tell me how much they charged my credit card. The printer Jam so I went back later and they still could not give me a receipt or tell me the fee. It is two stories and only looks like one story in the picture. No elevators so must use stairs. This was a big problem for us due to limited Mobility, but the front desk person did not care. Room was clean. No ice

Beautiful view of the Missouri River, places to sit outside and enjoy the view. But we found the steps and upstairs were a little unsafe. It would be a nice place to stay if it had some repairs done. Also some updating.

Property is older, but clean and has an awesome view over the Missouri River. There is a little outside sitting area with a covered porch to sit and have a lunch. Town is cute. However the Thunderstorm that came in was anything but cute. Nevertheless I would stay here again

Nice stay for the price. Property was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest and outside of property could use some updating but the room was in good condition.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable (which are the two primary criteria. ) The bathroom has been updated (somewhat). It was quiet. Only complaint about the room is that there was no hair dryer. (Which is pretty much standard these days.) The building exterior and grounds need a LOT of work! Peeling paint (on the deck of the overlook.) Shaky stairs to level two. Rough and uneven parking lot.

Nice folks. Loved the dogs. Property is old and tired and needs major reno….at least paint. room clean and appreciated small fridge and microwave but no coffee maker big negative. Coffeein office good but should not call it “breakfast”. StIrs were scarey old and rickety. Expedia ad says room with river view. :). Well out f bathroom window Anyway staff very nice

We stayed in the one story building. First impressions weren't the best. The hotel is old and run down on the outside and the parking lot is in rough shape. The room itself was dated, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and the view of the bridge and across the river was pretty. There was a small breakfast offered - coffee, instant oatmeal, granola bars, mini muffins, applesauce, and juice.

Very dated mom and pop motel. Clean sheets. Man's shaved piece of beard on bathroom floor. Found 2 big black spiders on wall and hubbys shirt! Beds were comfy, but we would never stay there again...

When you pull up to the front check in,dont let it scare ya. Yes its old and cluttered and looks like a weekly rental place. But. Rooms are clean. Bed co.foryable. they up dated bathrooms. Sit air in room is awesome. Room super cool. Its anild motel and is tiny but is clean and comfortable. Great price!!!!

There was hair in the bed, a tin of chew next to my daughter’s bed my allergies started going off and inspected the AC unit and the screen filters never have been cleaned, I just touched the cover for them and dust and crap started spilling out.

Upon arrival we were met with a cold greeting at the front desk. She actually told me that, "I'd get a better rate if I didn't use a service(like Expedia). I noticed signs in the front office detailing how to operate the heating and cooling system. It also explained what NOT to do. I should have taken a picture of this information because that same information was not in the room. When I turned on the air conditioner it worked for about 5 minutes then it stopped and an error code appeared. The thing that was mentioned on the notice at the front desk. Ihad to walk back to the front office to take a picture of the notice so we knew how to handle the error code. We followed the instructions but it still would not work. My husband then walked to the front office and explained what was happening. That same front desk woman blamed him for not following instructions(which WAS NOT TRUE) She ended up getting the owner /manager to help with the problem. It turns out that the heating/ cooling system(mini split) was installed connecting three rooms to each other. If one room wants heat the other rooms can't use the a/c. The manager had to call the other rooms that were on our system to find out who used heat and instruct them to not use heat so we could use the air conditioner. It was hot outside that day so a/c was needed. Horrible system! We were in a room under stairs that led to the second floor. It was noisy. An outside cat seemed sweet until it woke us up at daylight.

I saw an 8.4 rating and thought i was finding a diamond in the rough. This place is not that. It was clean, but very dated and old. Bed was hard. AC was very loud with an annoying buzzing sound. The only window opens to the parking lot, and there is no privacy curtain, only a blackout curtain, so i could not enjoy any natural light without inviting others to look into my room. It was a very depressing stay. I am looking for an uplift in a motel, not depression....

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was a little challenging but manageable. The property sits next to the Missouri River and management has tables and chairs set up outside so a person can enjoy the river. A great price and location.

It was clean, but older and small. No exhaust fan for bathroom. Really noisy air conditioner/heater that was mounted on the top of the wall. We shut it off while sleeping. It was fine for a short overnight sleep. Glad there was a fly swater in the room

We arrived after 10pm so had to pick-up our key in an empty office. The room is super small, the air conditioner is above one of the beds and sounded like a diesel engine all night. Room above was loud all night. Went to check out at 8:10am, still a locked office desk with a drop basket for keys. Never met staff other than a brief phone call at 9:45pm to let us know they close at 10pm and where to find key. Will not return or recommend

It might not look like much from the outside, but you can tell the owners are nearby and care about their guests. We were running late to check-in; they called to make sure we were OK, then left an envelope with our key at the front desk. After a hectic day of travel, it was calming to sit by the river with a beautiful view of the lighted bridge.

Older, smallish hotel that is updated, roomy and comfortable. Booked a room with 3 queens which was perfect for us. Manager was very helpful trouble-shooting an issue. Very nice staff. Enjoyed sunrise the next morning. Bagged continental breakfast. Good price.

Its an old motel that has had some updates. But, the room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were great. We both slept well through the night with no noise from other guests or traffic. Breakfast was quick eat stuff. Donuts, bagged pastries, apples, and of course, coffee.

The room was clean and our king size bed was comfortable for our one night stay on our road trip.We had issues with our rental car and the owner even tried to help us by loaning us some personal tools to remove a loose part.

Check in was easy, front desk gal was very friendly. You can tell they are doing renovations. For the price of the nights stay it wasn’t bad. Bed was comfortable. The layout was a really different. Could use better lighting in the rooms. Water in the shower did not get super warm but I like hot showers! If you are just passing through for just some rest. This is your place. It was clean

This is a local motel, and you get exactly that experience. However, the location is amazing. It's right on the water, and they have a lovely sitting area with tables and chairs, so you can sit and enjoy the river and sunset. The room is basic but is exactly as described. The front desk is friendly, the hotel has a private parking area, and the area felt safe.

Loves the setting on the river! Had a beautiful sunset and enjoyed seeing and talking with folks who are out to watch it! This is a ‘50s motel with cute, very clean rooms and great outdoor seating to watch the sunset or play games!!

We were wanting a place to stay right on the Missouri River. We found this place with great reviews! Don’t let the vintage appearance detour you. This place is clean, extremely comfortable beds, and easy access to anywhere in Chamberlain. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Its an old motel that has had some updates. But, the room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were great. We both slept well through the night with no noise from other guests or traffic. Breakfast was quick eat stuff. Donuts, bagged pastries, apples, and of course, coffee.

Nice stay for the price. Property was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest and outside of property could use some updating but the room was in good condition.

Good one night stay for fishing. Has some outdoor electricity for boat battery chargers but ask ahead for a spot close to power outlets. Has a small fridge/freezer in room. Good location close to restaurants/bars. Parking is a little tight with a boat trailer but again ask ahead for a decent spot for a boat trailer.

Room appeared to be clean, but very, very outdated. Bed very low near floor, electrical cords for outlets, no exhaust fan, drain for air unit runs through bathroom, very small frig sitting on floor with microwave on top of that. Needs work, but was warm and dry. I would not have booked this property had I seen the conditions before hand, nor would I have stopped in after seeing the outside appearance. Very misleading in the booking! PS. lets not forget the continental breakfast, a few pkg. of Krispy treats in a dirty office does not make a continental breakfast.

Nice place for a nights lodging. The only little thing I would say is they should let you know about breakfast. What I was given was not a breakfast. At best is was a packaged muffin and a cup of coffee.

They should not advertise as breakfast included as it was a coffe and old muffins on a rack in office building. They had nothing in room like coffee.

Nice folks. Loved the dogs. Property is old and tired and needs major reno….at least paint. room clean and appreciated small fridge and microwave but no coffee maker big negative. Coffeein office good but should not call it “breakfast”. StIrs were scarey old and rickety. Expedia ad says room with river view. :). Well out f bathroom window Anyway staff very nice

Pulling up to the property, it appeared a bit run down. Don’t be fooled, though. Room was simple and small, but spotless. Towels were some of the best I have ever had in a hotel, very soft and absorbent. The woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful. Be aware there are two buildings. One building has two stories and there is not an elevator. While this was not a problem for me, if you have difficulty with stairs, would recommend requesting a first floor room.

The room was very small, and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable for me, but I really appreciated the little chair to sit in. The room was nice and clean, too! We arrived after dark, so we couldn’t see much outside, but I absolutely loved the view in the morning. It was such a nice surprise to wake up and see the bridge!

It is a worn out motel. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the owners don't do a very good job of maintaining the property. Our remote had dead batteries. There was old dog poop on the patio overlooking the river. The one chair could not be used to sit at the desk because there wasn't enough room. I could hear .my neighbors showering. For the price I expected more.
