Great location, I loved that the rooms weren't down 1 long hall. We had a good size room with a humongous tv that had many items on it and we had a huge bathroom. There is no parking available at the hotel, but there is a public garage nearby for $10 a day. The complimentary water bottles, real glasses and gourmet coffee were a nice touch.

This was our first stay at this property. We have stayed here when it was Hickocks. We overall felt it was good, with a great location. Our room had a view of Outlaw Square. The beds were fine. Great shower, but no counter space. It felt pretty quiet in the room. There is no parking offered and it was not convenient trying to find parking. Thry did allow you to park in front while unloading your luggage. We didn't go to the casino, nor were offered any incentives to do so. There was not any complimentary breakfast options. It looks like maybe they had a breakfast sandwich for purchase? Overall, the property has a great location and the price was decent for a downtown hotel in the summer. I might stay again if it's just my husband and I, but would probably find a place with more amenities and parking next time.

Deadwood is a vibe and Rocksino put us in the center of it all. Loved the room and the coffee maker. Having a casino in the hotel was fun but also low-key. I recommend this property for an above average experience!!

Once we arrived the elevators were not working. Not one staff helped get our bags up to the 3rd floor. Then we we left had the same problem. Keira, the manager said they couldn't help that the service company didn't work on over the holiday. No empathy not friendly at all. She needs training on service. Then the soap was out and we were given 3 little samples of soap. Poorly ran hotel.

Just as an awareness before booking, this hotel did not provide guest parking. They had paid parking which was full from casino guests. The hotel room does not guarantee you access to any sort of parking, we had to park about a 15 min walk From the property.

Enjoyed our stay here. Only downfall is the lack of parking on the property.

Our room was very nice! The location was close to everything we were interested in. I would only give the parking a down grade. There is no parking onsite due to historic area it is in. You can park in front of entrance for 20 minutes to check in and unload your luggage. Then you must drive to public parking garage around the corner a few blocks down main and turn left. Cost is $10 for 24 hours.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent and took such great care of us. We have been telling our family & friends about the Rocksino and it is the best place in Deadwood. So happy with our experience that we plan to return in February. Thanks

Great staff, very clean room, close to all the activities

We prepaid for our room on Expedia, after leaving our room, they chsrged us 75.00 on day and 73.00 the second day. We left the room clean, we never ordered room services. We haven't got and awnsers on what the charges were for. The room was nice but the top pf the headboard had a layer of dust on it. The morning we were getting ready to leave, 8 am. The maid just walked into our room. She didn't knock or anything. That was weird.

The room was amazing! Loved the view and it was very clean.

The cleanliness and upkeep was impressive- while you find yourself in an old west town, the furnishings were modern and sleek at Rocksino!!

The superior twin was really an amazing room. The beds had separate sleeping areas where one bed had a room to itself with a very large tv. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. The provided bodywash smelled heavenly!!!! We really loved the room and the Rocksino would be our first pick next visit!

Great from check-in til check-out. Hotel and rooms are beautiful, rooms are clean, staff is amazing.

Bed wasn’t very comfy, a bit hard. The hotel itself is beautiful inside. The woodwork was amazing. The staff at check-in were very helpful and nice. Check-in was easy and it was because of the staff.

Disappointing Stay - Poor Management and Unreasonable Charges We chose the Rocksino by Hard Rock Deadwood to end our South Dakota trip, and this decision significantly dampened our wonderful vacation. Alarming Check-In Incident During check-in around 6:00 PM, I witnessed a situation that should concern potential guests. Another traveler arrived for his second night of a prepaid two-night stay, only to discover the hotel had CANCELLED HIS PREPAID ROOM WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION. He was left stranded on a Friday night when Deadwood had limited availability. He was not allowed to stay at the hotel. However, after this lengthy situation and hours of driving, I requested a quick check-in. Paperwork was placed before me without explanation, and I signed trusting standard procedures were followed. At 7:30 AM, my wife stood at the front desk looking for coffee but received no acknowledgement from the manager (pictured). When I came down later, the manager was playing solitaire on the computer and using her phone rather than attending to guests. Unreasonable Late Fee After breakfast, we unexpectedly joined a Deadwood tour. We returned to our room before after our tour was late11:40 AM, fully packed and heading downstairs when the manager called demanding a $50 late checkout fee. I explained we were already checking out and respectfully noted the policy hadn't been explained during the previous night's rushed check-in. Consider other Deadwood accommodations with customer service.

I stayed at one of the most popular destinations during bike week right on Main Street. It was beautiful. I could walk everywhere. It was really nice. It’s location was so ideal.

After a few trial stays in other hotels in Deadwood, I’ve finally found the keeper!!! Everything was absolutely perfect!! Awesome room, gorgeous hotel!! We had dinner and breakfast here. Upgraded TVs in both bedrooms with ability to connect to Netflix, etc. skylight in the bathroom, we actually used the hotel shampoo and conditioner…it was that good!!
