Everything was good: service, rooms, breakfast, parking. Only downside is that the rooms are not soundproofed. There was a loud party near to our room until at least 4am. The constant thumping of the bass spoit what should have been a very comfortable night.

What an awesome hotel! It's like walking in to a fantasy land, with smiling polite staff and very quiet rooms. Particulalry enjoyed the lift decor.... Great place to stay for central london and the museums and easy to get to Wimbledon! Breakfast was one of the best features, eggs, bacon, sausages and continental delights.

fab boutique hotel with funky touches. Overall great; two comments though... I don't understand why there's no minibar in the room...that would be great and in keeping with the vibe; also some of the Squint Suite I was in could do with some maintenance - eg the entrance door frame to the terrace is looking a bit worse for wear

5 star hotel on paper, but lower your expectations to a 4 star. However, really great here and a brilliant price. Very clean and in an unbelievably good location. We got the basic room and it was tiny (however huge bathroom) but we didn’t mind. The bed was great with effective air con in the room. No fridge which was a shame, but amenities were very good otherwise. Ritual toiletries in bathroom. Lighting could be better - no bright bathroom light to help with makeup and room lighting also dim. Tv was basic and hard to get it to work. The decor isn’t our taste - a bit tacky and kitsch. But it didn’t really bother us and the bar area was inviting. Staff were lovely and breakfast was so delicious. We would return. What you get for the price is excellent. Just don’t expect opulent luxury.

Amazing hotel opposite Natural History museum and a 10 minute walk from Albert Hall All the people working at the hotel were friendly helpful and welcoming. Lovely cocktails and 24 hour pizza! Quirky decor and really different we loved it!

Positives - good location, nice reception / breakfast area, fun quirky decor, nice good sized bathroom with separate shower and bath, and free water and snacks in the room - the bathroom toiletries are high-end RITUALS products and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful Negatives - room was supposed to be a king size bed - it was actually 2 singles pushed together and one slumped in the middle causing me to roll to the centre of the bed and the gap between matresses- very uncomfortable- also duvet was synthetic- so quickly became too hot , the old elevator is Tiny - only fits 2 people and it’s incredibly slow- waited 10 mins for it at Breakfast time For what I paid it represented ok value - would stay again.. but would insist on real double bed!

I stayed at this hotel, found the staff on arrival to be rude. No email to tell me I would need my license or passport and was met with rude remarks when I made this apparent. Got to the room and expected with it being a 5 star hotel to be at least clean however the shower was covered in limescale, there was black mould in the shower, splash marks along the floor and the toilet wasn’t cleaned properly. Then to the bed, I have stayed in dozens of hotels in the past year and I genuinely think I would have had a better night sleep from sleeping on the balcony. Then comes to the checkout, I left one of my personal items at the hotel and upon collection of my hand luggage was not informed of this and once I had reached the train station and came to this realisation I rang the hotel and was met with “ohh yeah it was found earlier today”, this wasn’t communicated with me at checkout at all and was told it was my problem and that I’d have to come back to my hotel. Bearing in mind I was on a train heading 3hours away. All in all the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in I would emplore anyone who is looking for a hotel in this area to stay well clear. Absolute ruined our London experience!

We had to leave after our first night despite being booked for a two night stay for my sisters birthday. The shower, after using it for a short period of time started to smell like rotten eggs and sulphur. The step out to the patio on our room was broken and wobbly when you stood on it. The blind was broken and didn’t raise and when I tried a metal bar fell out onto my feet. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is horrible. Not worth 5 stars at all it’s more like a 3 star hotel. Shabby, rundown and a bit dirty.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and while I still think the location and decor are absolutely wonderful, our experience this time was noticeably less enjoyable than our first visit. Both times, we booked “the small room,” but this time the room was significantly smaller than the one we had previously. The floor was also very uneven, making it quite uncomfortable to walk on – and more worryingly, I actually stepped on a nail sticking up from the entrance floor just outside the bathroom. It appeared to be coming up through the floor from below, which was both painful and concerning. Overall, the first stay felt much more comfortable and welcoming. Back then, it honestly seemed like the hotel was making a real effort to impress us. This time, the service felt more indifferent, and the general comfort of the room was lacking. We had also paid for breakfast, which is okay – but to be fair, it mostly consists of store-bought items rather than anything freshly prepared or homemade. All that said, I’m not entirely put off by this hotel. It still has charm, and I may return in the future. But unfortunately, this last visit just didn’t live up to the standard set during our first stay.

Stayed for 7 nights. Great location and rooms are clean and well maintained. I was in a Standard Double - not a lot of space but enough for one. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and will stay again.

Spent a night here - cool boutique hotel vibe. It doesn't give initial impressions of a London 5 star, but you can tell that some effort has gone into the interior. Nice rooms, some themed and funky! All staff were lovely, the bar is a nice little touch. Rooms could be a tad cleaner to be honest but other than that, located in South Kensington, local to a bunch of bars, cafes and restaurants and overall, a pleasurable stay. Thank you.

Was charged double the amount it should be for the deposit, showed 2 staff members the email saying it was 50 yet was still charged 100. Light switches were filthy and sticky had to wipe them down ourselves, green pillows were covered in hair, bathtub had dirt marks still in it and shower holder broke as soon as I touched shampoo. Shower was amazing, lovely hot tub and comfy bed, air con was nice too. Overall decent stay but for a suite and an 5 star hotel and how much you pay you’d expect the room to at least be cleaned properly. Would not return

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The condition of the property is however not what I would call 5-star. Poor maintenance, wall panel falling off in the bathroom, bathroom ceiling not properly finished, chipped doors and furnitures, very dusty bed frame, and very uncomfortable mattress that dips in the middle. I can’t believe I paid over £500 per night on that - and this happens to be one of their most luxurious suit - the Squint Splash Suite with a hot tub in it. The AC leaked when we changed the temperature and could have ruined a very expensive dress rental with murky brown fluid. My husband tried to convince me that it was the look they were going for (rustic), but I know what a poorly maintained hotel room looks like - plus there is absolutely no excuse for a dusty bed frame! Needless to say I couldn’t bring myself to eat there having seen all this. I’ll definitely not be going back there.

Really beautiful boutique hotel in Kensington. Perfect location for Royal Albert Hall and train station. Lots of places to eat and drink. The room was lovely! Everything comfortable and quality Rituals bathroom products. Great shower which was separate to bath Coffee machine and water in the room. Very quirky and great value Would stay again for sure

Great customer service, friendly and welcoming from reception to bar staff. Hotel room was clean, airy and well decorated. Fantastic location near the tube, shops, restaurants and the Royal Albert Hall. Great value for money too with big rooms, spacious beds and nice mocktail / cocktail menu. Would recommend and stay again.

The room was a bit noisy - 109 - between floors and there was a whirring sound that came and went. The staff were very friendly and it was clean. Sadly the internet was not good enough for a work zoom I had but I would stay again - just not in that room

The staff were great and always very friendly! The room was a good size and great location for everything in South Kensington. However, the room did not retain warmth very well, the provided electric heater was not powerful enough to warm the room, nor was the central heating system which we had to set to 30 degrees c for it to pump out air that had a hint of warmth. The room also lacked bedside lights, which would have been nice so that we could read without the use of the bright main light.

Very nice hotel. Good location, good people, good breakfast. Location is only 4-5 minutes walk to South Kensington station and couple of minutes away from the National Museum. Lot of restaurants nearby. Room is a bit small and there was a very small closet, which was a bit difficult to manage, but we can ignore that considering all the other positive things. We would stay again in one of our next visits to London.

Lot of restaurants nearby. Room is a bit small and there was a very small closet, which was a bit difficult to manage, but we can ignore that considering all the other positive things. We would stay again in one of our next visits to London.

We were only there one night and the location was great and the staff friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and they had a two for one happy hour which was nice. My only negatives were the room was really tight if you have any amount of luggage and the bathroom had horrible lighting above the sink and mirror.

Beautiful neighborhood close to Albertopolis and the South Kensington station. I stayed in the Trash Suite and loved the design and private balcony but hated the mirror in the bathroom, it was so difficult to do my hair and I’m a dude. Be careful with the water pressure with the bathroom sink, it will go everywhere if you are not careful. Also the toilet seat would not stay up which is also frustrating as a man. Those are all minor gripes, overall the staff was kind and accommodating and while it seems far from the majority of the tourist spots in central London, with the Underground I could get everywhere in well under 30 minutes! I would definitely stay here again!

Hot tub in the bathroom was definitely the highlight. Room was huge. Nice AC. Big TV. Enormous comfy bed. Breakfast was good too. Definitely staying here again

The best part about our room was the size of the bathroom, although the extractor fan didn't work. I booked a standard double room and it was the size of a shoebox. Certainly not at all like the photos on the website. It was so small there was nowhere to put our luggage. The bed was very low, so difficult to get out of, and with very little space anyway at the side. The pillows were lumpy. A very small mirror was provided on the desk, You couldn't use the bathroom mirror because of the steam. When we informed reception the next day, we were informed it was the smallest bedroom in the building! It was clean is a redeeming feature, and the staff were friendly. Very disappointed and certainly not worth the money we paid.

The hotel is located in great but quiet area. The room was small but it was only one night stay so I didn’t mind. The bathroom was good size with bathtub and shower. Bathroom looked newish. The tv was very slow. It is a great hotel for short stay but definitely not a 5 start so do not expect too much from it.

We've stayed here before. Love the quirkiness. Don't stay in room 101. You can hear the music from reception early in the morning and late at night. Other rooms are not so noisy. Be careful when ordering a drink at the bar... They do not use standard UK measures. I ordered a large glass of wine (250ml) and was charged £17. Queried it and I'd been charged 2 X 175ml! They refused to refund due to their error.

What a delightful little gem in the heart of the city. Loved my stay at the Exhibitionist!!! Most of all enjoyed the super convenient central location, the super helpful and friendly staff (especially Fabio and Sarah), and the quirkiness of the decor. I arrived quite early in the day. They did everything they could to place me in a room earlier than the standard 3pm check in time. Despite a long and hectic travel schedule prior to arriving, walking into the lift fully lifted (no pun intended 😂) my mood and I immediately snapped pics from inside the lift and sent them to my daughter. Highly recommended.

We booked this hotel as we had tickets for a concert at The Royal Albert Hall, which was a ten minute walk away. My room was good, not a lot of room around the double bed but sufficient. The bathroom was a good size and powerful shower. Decor throughout the hotel was good and arty. Everything was clean. We made use of the hotel bar, especially cocktail happy four hours, but did not eat in the hotel by choice and that had nothing to do with the menu, we just wanted to get out and about. Plenty of restaurants to choose in the area. What really stood out about this hotel was the staff, incredibly friendly, pleasant and polite. I was pleasantly surprised by the price of our stay. It was £130 less than if we had stayed in a Premier Inn. I would return to The Exhibitionist without hesitation and would actually make it my go to hotel on any future visits to the capital.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Close to all amenities and transport. We only stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary, the staff had decorated our room and we arrived early and expected our room not to be ready but was offered a complimentary drink whisky we waited 10 minutes. Staff were so friendly and the quirky decor and installations are fabulous as was the breakfast. 2 4 1 cocktails are a great bonus between 5-9pm. Unfortunately due to a reckless guest leaving their bath running our room was affected by water coming through the ceiling at 1am, however the staff dealt with this quickly and we was moved to another room to sleep without any problem. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel reception and bar/lounge area are clean, warm and. Inviting. The decor in the hotel is quirky. I booked two double rooms with queen size beds, but they were kingsize. The bedframe creaked loudly when turning over and due to the cheap waterproof mattress topper I was unable to sleep as it made me sweat. the en-suite was spacious with a large separate shower and bath. Unfortunately the cold tap on the bath was very stiff and i could only turn it a fraction and was then unable to turn it off. Due to a language problem we ordered 2 double gins from the bar and received 2, double, double gins and were charged £65. The manager refused to refund us saying she was unable to as it had already been put on the system but instead gave us free tonic and a bottle of their top Prosecco that sells in tescos for £12.50. We didnt wart this as we already had quadruple gins to drink and we were travelling by bike and had minimal luggage space. I am still waiting for someone to get back to me about our stay. It may be an unfortunate set of problems that just happened to us, as it really is a nice hotel

Great location and value. Balcony room well worth having as the weather was great. Highly recommended as a perfect place to stay in London. Transport links from South Kensington station (5min walk) are great. Great local restaurants and the Zetland is a great pub. Can also walk to a huge number of London sights a landmarks. Hope to be back.

A real find. So close to the shopping of Knightsbridge, the museums around Kensington , tube stations and food options. Looks just like the online photos. Everything worked well, room was big with great bathroom. Was very impressed.

What an awesome hotel! It's like walking in to a fantasy land, with smiling polite staff and very quiet rooms. Particulalry enjoyed the lift decor.... Great place to stay for central london and the museums and easy to get to Wimbledon! Breakfast was one of the best features, eggs, bacon, sausages and continental delights.

The staff during check in were great to meet and greet the guest. I had a lovely and nice decoration for our anniversary. But the downside it was a poor breakfast. Fair enough the breakfast start at 7am. Went down for breakfast after 30 mins and the boiled eggs were cold. I wanted fried eggs but nothing there apart from scrambled and boiled eggs. If you are the kind of person that like to book hotel with breakfast and this would be the wrong hotel. Without breakfast this hotel is worth to book. Furthermore my room didn’t have minibar. I would expect to be empty but no minibar. Even for longer stay guest especially for summer if you want to keep the drinks cooler. I would not visit this hotel again in near future.

Amazing! Staff were so welcoming, friendly and courteous. The property is gorgeous with amazing decor, it felt very comfortable and relaxing. The area is great with the natural history museum right at the end of the street and very easy walking distance to the V&A, many restaurants and the tube station. Also, walking distance to the Royal Albert Hall, took us about 13 minutes. The hotel bar was lovely and did nice cocktails. This doubled up as the breakfast room in the morning and again it was lovely. A great choice of breakfast foods, both hot and cold and very attentive staff. Room was incredible, beautifully decorated again, very clean and a cute little balcony. Amazing aircon too. Bathroom was beautiful and clean with a shower and a separate bath. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a brilliant stay, we left very happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend this hotel and it will be our first choice should we return to London.

Really lovely hotel, friendly staff, excellent location. Fantatsic artwork throughout the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast, when staying for several days could do with some more variety but for one or two nights it would be fine.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. It needs an upgrade it’s tired. Had to be moved as heating not working in the room . Staff friendly and helpful . Breakfast not 5 star, only sausage egg and bacon hot and all help yourself breakfast. Bread and pastry’s nice and freshly made . Overall more a 3 star

Check in was friendly and efficient but upon arriving into the room, the temperature had been set to a face-melting 27.5 degrees on both of the a/c units. The room itself (we had the Jimmy Martin Suite) was funky enough but some of the fittings were worn and it didn’t have very well thought through layout - awkwardly placed plugs by the bed for example. Breakfast was a disappointment too (quite basic) and in general we felt a little underwhelmed by the whole experience which was meant to be an anniversary celebration.

Comfy beds, tea and coffee making with complimentary biscuits, kettle crisps and bottled water which were replaced daily. This is defiantly not 5 star hotel the bed and floor creaked badly the bath tub plug didn’t work also we rang before hand to tell them we’d be there later and they had issue with air conditioning and only told us after we turned up when they knew when we spoke on the phone of this issue thinks a glass wine makes up for it. Also the breakfast isn’t good selection for continental not a potato product in site better breakfast at premier inn to be honest wouldn’t recommend told hotels.com they have compensated us something as the hotel refused to do so aswell iv stayed in a lot of premier inn and cheaper hotels there defiantly better quality

Well-located, quirky and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Do recommend! The bathroom could do with a little TLC: shower tabs had no labelling so that it took a while to figure out how to use it, shower door did not close, small mastic smears in the shower, the seat did not match the toilet, the bedside table had obvious wear and tear marks.

The stay was great. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, and the hot tub in the suite was a beautiful touch. I was particularly pleased that they provided multiple towels, as I apparently sweat profusely when things get a little too hot. All in all, I’d definitely recommend. Great night. Y el coño… echando fuego. 🔥
