Hidden gem in St. Ignace MI! Very clean, thoughtfully laid out for travelers. Comfy beds good location. Everything you need. Pet friendly, easy check in, great owner communication. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Will stay here again when traveling through.

The stay at The Shady Pines Inn was delightful and Brittney was very quick to respond to messages. The room was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay at The Shady Pines Inn.

I had my doubts when reserving the room because it was clear that it was a renovated roadside motel. However, we were happy when we arrived. Our room was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a very nice bathroom. Dishes, utensils, coffee, and a coffee maker were available. Very clean!

This is a small, cute, no-frills motel. There is no continental breakfast, swimming pool or ice machine, but the rooms have been nicely updated and are nicely appointed. The bed was SO comfortable… Soft, but supportive. It was very convenient for us to get to the ferry in downtown St. Ignace and then to get to the Mackinac Bridge the next day. We really enjoyed our stay.
