Juzcar remains the only blue village in Andalusia having been the promotional venue for Sony's Smurf films. But more interestingly, there are a variety of country walks which begin directly in the village and lead you through a gloriously green and beautiful countryside where you may sight or hear an abundance of raptors and other birds. For history buffs, check out the trail laid by the Romans, the bridge built by the Arabs and Spain's first factory ever, cerca 1738.
