The lobby is beautiful, the lobby staff are all well dressed and professional, the swimming pool is really nice, can do laps, treadmills are modern. The hard part. The room is really old, smells old, the electric sockets look old and outdated, scratched, and the floor by the bed was moist, had a towel over it, which was strange. On the wall console, there was a control for the TV and radio but I couldn’t see a radio, nor needed one, but the setup looked like from another era maybe. The towels were kind of old, not plush. The room was big, but kind of sad. There was some noise at night, so had to use my noise cancelling headphone. The rooms and hallways are in need of an update.

Me dijeron que si habia disponiblidad para ascenso pero me querian cobrar por el ascenso, me hicieron creer que me habian dado una mejor habitacion pero fue mentira y no recibí ningun beneficio VIP access, quedé muy decepcionado por esta situacion y mas por la cadena de hoteles que es el peninsula.

It's a grand hotel with a gorgeous lobby. But confused workers and poor service. Many mistakes. Must remind or instruct the workers. Example, I booked on Expedia and paid. It takes 5-10 minutes to check in, and then the check in clerk asks me to pay for the room. They are not even trained enough to understand a fully paid reservation. Then the supervisor needs to come to fix. This is something very simple at check in. No taxis or help, so if you are not a weathly local, it is a headache.

The staff. The staff was simply amazing. Everyone from the valet to reception to the concierge to the executive lounge and everyone in between. Each person was friendlier than the next. The rooms are great, the amenities are excellent but the staff was next level. When I return to Manila this is the only hotel I will I stay at.

It's our third time staying in this property. We had two adjacent rooms booked. The concierge took care of us even before we arrived and constantly communicated about our needs including transport from the airport. We will be back. We had a perfect stay - we enjoyed the pool, breakfast at Escolta (recommend that you do brunch in the hotel), my dad enjoyed listening to the piano player, and also the room was very comfortable. I would note though the service in the Lobby Bar, it felt like they were under staffed - we were seated, served our food, and then left alone, no one came to ask how were doing or if we needed anything else. This could be improved.

This is an excellent Hotel, I stay in a lot and not often I can say that from check in until check out everything was superb. Special mention to the lounge staff: all went above and beyond to make staying here even better.

Pretty much everything. From the moment you arrive, the service is incredible. I had a suite which was huge and with a view of the beautiful pool area. The lobby with the amazing pianist, Christmas tree and all decorations was stunning. Breakfast is so good and has everything you could ever want. Afternoon tea is not to be missed but the highlight for me was Evening Cocktails where the food and drink is superb but the service even better with the gentleman making cocktails (sorry I am old and forget names) worthy of particular mention, even leaving the bar to get his favourite bourbon to make one drink for me. I really don't have a bad word to say about this place. The only other hotel in the world I have stayed in that is up there with this is Shangri-la in Boracay and that's probably only because of the location on the beach, and jacuzzi on the balcony!

필리핀을 2주 가까이 여행하면서 페닌슐라만큼 식사가 맛있던 곳을 찾기 힘들었어요! 대체적으로 식당 전부 너무 맛있고, 가격대비 숙소도 객실이 오래 되었다지만 크게 불편함을 느끼지 못 했어요! 처음에 륨까지 안내해주셨던 직원분이 너무 친절하셨어서 체크아웃 때 따로 감사인사 드리고 싶었는데 그날 안 계셨던데다 이름을 확인 못 해서 따로 메세지를 못 남겼는데 그게 조금 마음에 걸려요ㅜ 재방문 의사 당연히 있습니다 :)

This hotel is top notch and creates a quality experience. The last time i stayed in this hotel, the breakfast buffet was included in the room price, which justified its overcost. This time around, it appears they did away with that perk. That was a disappointment. Since breakfast was not included, we were talking into paying for an upgraded room to include breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and an evening snack.with the cost of the breakfast buffet by itself hitting nearly P4k, per person, the Galary Club extra made it worth doing. We had dinner on the main floor via menu, breakfast in the club and lunch at the club. Of those 3, dinner was the biggest disappointment with overpriced food and flavors that made you question if McDo tasted better. I know i had a better steak in Texas Roadhouse. The scallops and calamares was the only dish out of 4, i would eat again. (Ribeye, wagyu burger, kare kare & scallops) P8k for those 4. Yikes. I would stay here again, but probably not spend any money on the main floor and just save my appetite for the galary club. Dinner outside the hotel in the nearby mall, is also an option.

Magnificent hotel, made even better by the most incredible customer service one could ask for. At every level and every part of the hotel, the staff and service are immaculate. The rooms are a little dated for this level of hotel and could use some updating or at least some color/character or local vibe which one would expect from a hotel of this kind. The hotel is beautiful and full of old world class and elegance. The lobby is a work of art and the restaurants, pool, gym and all other facilities are top notch. The breakfast is plentiful and probably the best I've experienced on my many stays in Manila. My only advice would be to get there early because it gets crowded pretty fast, especially on weekends. The only negative was that one out of three elevators was out of use for my entire extended stay and it was quite inconvenient. There is no sign alerting guests to this and no one at the reception or concierge informs guests of this inconvenience at check-in or any point of my stay regarding how long it would take, which is something I would expect from a 5 stay hotel like this. When the hotel is full it caused delays and very crowded elevators.
