After two nights of leaky, moist and humid stay we were moved to a dry room (thanks to Ayesha) but it should have been done in day one itself. Two onsite restaurants were pretty good, had aging but clean interior, good food and great staff.

A good hotel in good area close to Marine Drive. Rooms we clean and comfortable and a good size. It is an older hotel with a bit of charm. Just near Churchgate railway station where some tours start or end. Plenty of restaurants or cafes close by. Only complaint was some rooms a bit musty, but they were happy to move us and shower in morning time sometimes was cold

Went for a week and on work and with the wife, was very disappointed. Rooms are very old and dated and the hotel is out of date. We managed however and probably will not stay there again.

We stayed for 6 days , had excellent experience. Rooms are very clean , Comfortable. Front desk , lobby staff, everyone one was super nice and helpful . Room service was excellent. Very fast . You get the 5 star service. Restaurant food was tasty . I want to thank every one special Sunjay Tiwali the food and beverage manager who went back and forth to make sure we are comfortable and receive the best service . Hotel is located in the best area , 50 feet from Marine . Walking distance to many bars, coffee and restaurants.

The Ambassador is a very nice hotel and we had a great stay. Their lobby is very fancy and our room had a lovely seating area as well as a marble bathroom! Bed was very comfortable. It's a little bit far from the area that we wanted to visit like Fort and gateway to India but otherwise it is a perfect hotel.

I booked this hotel for a couple of days to spend with my parents in Mumbai. The staff were so lovely leaving us with such good memories of our few days in Mumbai. They were super helpful, very polite and dealt with any queries as soon as possible. They also made a cake and decorated the room with balloons for my mother’s birthday when I asked them for just a little something. They made a whole cake! Thank you once again to all the staff, and the desk staff! You all really made our stay nice and easy and very memorable. The only meal we had at the hotel was the buffet breakfast, and again the selection on offer each day was delicious. The chef also memorised my omelette order after the 1st day and would make it for me each morning. The staff would regularly refill out teas/coffees as and when we wanted. I’ve stayed at many hotels and the service received at the Ambassador has truly been one of the best I’ve experienced.

One of Mumbai's longest serving hotel and it feels a little past its best. The location, for me is just about the best in the city, but the well worn feel and less than cheery staff gave it a very 3 star feel, which for the price they charge is a little disappointing.

Our stay started of good when we booked in. We then decided to extend our stay due to my once in a year special day. As soon as the recipient Suyoj realised it was my birthday, our stay went from great to super stunning. Ayesha from House arrived with flowers and Roihet decorated the room, flowers and gifts were brought. A huge cake was sent to the room. Simply stunning.

My experience was really great. The hotel is near to Marine Bay and some really cool restaurants that mixes the traditional indian food with foreign spices. Museum and Flora Fountain are not so far away. I arrived late and the personal were kind enough to authorize me a late check-out.

The only meal we had at the hotel was the buffet breakfast, and again the selection on offer each day was delicious. The chef also memorised my omelette order after the 1st day and would make it for me each morning. The staff would regularly refill out teas/coffees as and when we wanted. I’ve stayed at many hotels and the service received at the Ambassador has truly been one of the best I’ve experienced.

After two nights of leaky, moist and humid stay we were moved to a dry room (thanks to Ayesha) but it should have been done in day one itself. Two onsite restaurants were pretty good, had aging but clean interior, good food and great staff.

We stayed for 6 days , had excellent experience. Rooms are very clean , Comfortable. Front desk , lobby staff, everyone one was super nice and helpful . Room service was excellent. Very fast . You get the 5 star service. Restaurant food was tasty . I want to thank every one special Sunjay Tiwali the food and beverage manager who went back and forth to make sure we are comfortable and receive the best service . Hotel is located in the best area , 50 feet from Marine . Walking distance to many bars, coffee and restaurants.

I found the property better then my expectation. Initially at the time of booking i had concern about the cleanliness, room size, staff etc as this was a very old property. All this concern were put to rest on my check-in. Very well maintianed propert with heritage vibe. Spacious clean rooms. Great Value for money considering its VIP location.
