Swimming pool for the children and adults was closed for 5 days of our 7 day holiday which is appalling. This is not acceptable as this ruined our holiday as well as causing us extreme stress with our children who were not happy about not being able to use the facilities

The initial conversation from when my family and I sought travel from the airport to when we arrived at the property was extremely subpar. There was no transportation nor was a vehicle called for us to arrive. No viable information was given, instead I was told that we could speak to the Concierge? My family and I eventually purchased train tickets as uber was unavailable from the airport and there were no available taxis in the vicinity, we then walked the remaining distance with 10 pieces of luggage. As well, we booked a suit which was to include four beds, I had two daughters my son and wife with me and there were only 2 beds. In totality there really was no major attempt to rectify any of the oversights and inconveniences, there were merely apologies. For a property with so much potential, I'd have to say it was an overall letdown. A saving grace would have been the gym and spa area, even then the steamroom never fully worked for my son and I and there was no availability for massage therapy.

My stay at the Steigenberger Residence exceeded all my expectations. The food, spa, pool, and service was incredible. Especially the friendly staff who made our stay so enjoyable! A special thanks to Soltane, Badr, Esperanza and others who made our experience so lovely. We will definitely be coming back to stay here soon.

Great 3 bed suite which was perfect for our 7 night stay as a family of 4. We had everything we needed including washer/dryer and dishwasher. The pool area was good for a few hours just resting in the sun, but we spent most of the week out exploring Doha, the Steigenberger was perfectly located for the metro and was why we chose it, it was literally a 5 minute walk to Umm Ghawailina station. I only have 2 minor criticisms and that was 1) the showers kept overflowing the trays and water ended up everywhere, the tiny bath mat couldn’t contain it, and it may be better to just leave a squeegee as the bathrooms are wet rooms anyway. 2) there needs to be a clothes rack to hang wet clothes on near the windows / in the sun.. there is a short pull out line in each bathroom but it can hold about 3 items. It’s too cold to dry anything in there too. Not everything can be tumble dried. Other than that it was good, we only ate breakfast there once and it was mediocre and expensive. There’s so many amazing places to eat in Doha!

Terrible customer service from this hotel, still awaiting a reply from the manager after 1 week of leaving this hotel, expected better from them after they closed the pool for a week from 19-26 may which is more than a few days in their words. They ruined our holiday the kids were upset and fed up and just wanted to go home, we paid for a hotel with swimming pool but didn't get what we paid for, and I have had no response from the hotel directly in form of compensation for the distress caused.

A very good hotel, very good location, big undergroubd parking, I feel it was easier to park than rely on the free valet as lifts fo up to the floors from each building. It would helo if the hotel.made it clear that during night check in is at hotel part for residences ad the reception there is closed. Highlight is pool and gym , also great childrens area by pool. Breakfast was very good, albeit if you stay for many days it can get a bit boring

We stayed in the residence side and the room were sooo modern and had every white goods needed for a comfterable space. Highly recommned this hotel. The pool, food, staff memebers alll soo professional and very very nice. Location is close to the main attractions can walk to sm destinations or taxi are so cheap. You wont be dissapointed with this hotel at all.

Dit is een top accomodatie op een centrale locatie qua metro en bezienswaardigheden. Ben zelf in de residence verbleven. Kan zich meten met een echt appartement, heel ruim met alle benodigdheden. Had er zo willen intrekken. Het is een gebouw met het hotel. Zwembad is uniek en bevindt zuch op het dak. Helaas moest daar halverwege ons verblijf onderhoud worden gepleegd. Daar hebben compensatie voor ontvangen voor bezoek aan een strand met korting. Schoon hotel met top service wat veel heeft te bieden voor elke type reiziger met passie voor Qatar.

The location was great as there was a little mall next door that had a supermarket, exchange shop. Pharmacy and good places. Supermarket was open till 2am. It was great 10- 25 min from all tourist attractions and malls. It was 20-30 min from all the fancy restaurants. Hotel itself was beautiful. Spa was great and pool was smaller than bigger hotels but still a great size. 35qr to use the facilities which was great! Staff were super helpful, especially Murad who took our group photos every night. He knew when he saw us and would be ready. It had a lovely reaturant and shisha place in the hotel. Great place for people who want to takes pictures. And for the ladies! We stayed in a 3 bedrook apartment that had floor to ceiling mirrors in each room! Winning!

I stayed for four nights. The staff were friendly and the food was good overall, although I wasn’t a big fan of the seafood night. Unfortunately, the main issue was the bed — there appeared to be bed bugs, and I ended up with a rash all over my body. That was very disappointing and uncomfortable.

Stayed in Premiem 3 Bedroom apartment residence. It was huge for the 4 of us. Very clean and tidy. Fresh towels and water delivered daily. Can not fault it. We are missing it so much now!! Staff were great. We hope to return again one day in the near future.

Wir waren als Familie (6 Personen) in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut, und auch am Pool war alles schön die Mitarbeiter dort waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider war unser Zimmer bei der Ankunft nicht besonders sauber. Obwohl wir für 6 Personen gebucht und bezahlt hatten, bekamen wir nur zwei Betten und ein Babybett. Für ein zusätzliches Bett für eines der Kinder sollten wir täglich 100 Riyal extra zahlen das fand ich unangemessen. Es fehlten außerdem Decken und Kissen, die wir erst nach mehreren Anfragen erhalten haben. Handtücher mussten wir jeden Tag neu anfordern, meist bekamen wir aber nur 2–3 Stück für 6 Personen. Selbst Toilettenpapier mussten wir kaufen, da nach der ersten Rolle kein Nachschub kam. Zusätzlich funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht immer richtig, und abends war ein lautes Brummen zu hören, obwohl sie ausgeschaltet war. Morgens war der Boden vor unserem Zimmer oft komplett nass, als würde er „schwitzen“ unsere Tochter ist dabei sogar einmal ausgerutscht. Das Frühstück und der Poolbereich waren gut, aber Sauberkeit, Wartung und Service im Zimmer müssen dringend verbessert werden.

The service at steigenberger was amazing,service was very fast and the cleaners did a great job daily when cleaning our rooms up. Breakfast was nice and service at breakfast was also fast my family really enjoyed their stay in the hotel, I will definitely be back for another stay the next time I’m in Doha

Overall the residence is Steigenberger Doha was very good. We upgraded to a 3 bedroom deluxe which gave 2 bathrooms. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was included and had a good range of offerings although this remained essentially unchanged everyday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was straightforward. Restaurants in the hotel part of the Steigenberger were good quality but relatively expensive compared to the local eateries. It was handy to have a hypermarket next door. Location was closer to the airport side so took Ubers regularly to get to local attractions - they are very quick and cheap. Our only disappointment was the lack of amenities in the residence kitchen of our room. No washing up things like cloths or liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no tea towels and very limited cutlery. Water coffee and tea bags were provided. Would definitely stay again.

Location was closer to the airport side so took Ubers regularly to get to local attractions - they are very quick and cheap. Our only disappointment was the lack of amenities in the residence kitchen of our room. No washing up things like cloths or liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no tea towels and very limited cutlery. Water coffee and tea bags were provided. Would definitely stay again.

Great 3 bed suite which was perfect for our 7 night stay as a family of 4. We had everything we needed including washer/dryer and dishwasher. The pool area was good for a few hours just resting in the sun, but we spent most of the week out exploring Doha, the Steigenberger was perfectly located for the metro and was why we chose it, it was literally a 5 minute walk to Umm Ghawailina station. I only have 2 minor criticisms and that was 1) the showers kept overflowing the trays and water ended up everywhere, the tiny bath mat couldn’t contain it, and it may be better to just leave a squeegee as the bathrooms are wet rooms anyway. 2) there needs to be a clothes rack to hang wet clothes on near the windows / in the sun.. there is a short pull out line in each bathroom but it can hold about 3 items. It’s too cold to dry anything in there too. Not everything can be tumble dried. Other than that it was good, we only ate breakfast there once and it was mediocre and expensive. There’s so many amazing places to eat in Doha!

The apartment was spacious. It had 3 tvs! The wifi was great. The dishes were all good and clean. The living room was modern. The bathroom is big. Very very good for families.

The location was great as there was a little mall next door that had a supermarket, exchange shop. Pharmacy and good places. Supermarket was open till 2am. It was great 10- 25 min from all tourist attractions and malls. It was 20-30 min from all the fancy restaurants. Hotel itself was beautiful. Spa was great and pool was smaller than bigger hotels but still a great size. 35qr to use the facilities which was great! Staff were super helpful, especially Murad who took our group photos every night. He knew when he saw us and would be ready. It had a lovely reaturant and shisha place in the hotel. Great place for people who want to takes pictures. And for the ladies! We stayed in a 3 bedrook apartment that had floor to ceiling mirrors in each room! Winning!

We booked a 5-star, 3-bedroom suite expecting a luxurious hotel experience. However, it turned out the property is divided into two parts: one operates as a hotel, and the other consists of furnished apartments for long-term rentals. Unfortunately, the latter lacks the “hotel-like” atmosphere we were seeking. The reception area felt more like a 3-star hotel, and the residence lacked warmth—it was all ceramic flooring with no carpets, which gave it a cold, uninviting feel. Additionally, the kitchen had an unpleasant odor, and both bathroom shower enclosures were poorly sealed, causing water to spill all over the floors. Overall, it did not meet the standards we anticipated. The location was not ideal. It’s better to explore Doha from areas like West Bay or the Business District for a more convenient and vibrant experience.

Terrible customer service from this hotel, still awaiting a reply from the manager after 1 week of leaving this hotel, expected better from them after they closed the pool for a week from 19-26 may which is more than a few days in their words. They ruined our holiday the kids were upset and fed up and just wanted to go home, we paid for a hotel with swimming pool but didn't get what we paid for, and I have had no response from the hotel directly in form of compensation for the distress caused.

The best thing about the property are the staff. Always courteous and pleasant and willing to help. The only negative was when one off our party was feeling slightly ill at dinner time and we requested that she be allowed to take some food to her room to eat later. One of the waiting staff took our request to the manager who said it was company policy not to take food from the restaurant. Understandable but this was an exceptional circumstance. All the manager could suggest was that we used room service. Very helpful!!!

The service at steigenberger was amazing,service was very fast and the cleaners did a great job daily when cleaning our rooms up. Breakfast was nice and service at breakfast was also fast my family really enjoyed their stay in the hotel, I will definitely be back for another stay the next time I’m in Doha

After a few issues at the beginning of the stay with the booking, the staff and manager were so helpful and accommodating! They went above and beyond and the service was brilliant. Such a lovely stay and beautiful hotel. The kids loved it and everything was pleasant and a smooth experience. Would definitely come back to stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This hotel/residence is perfect for family or couples, it has a big supermarket close by, nandos literally outside and coffee beans which is amazing, the customer service and hospitality I received from all staff especially Aladeilaine and Ashraf was outstanding, going above and beyond, I had few issues but it was resolved immediately by Aladeilaime and Ashraf, I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and its a luxurious wow apartment, so spacious and clean, daily housekeeping but you have to call them, I would definitely recommend this hotel/apartment, when I go doha again I will definitely be staying in this hotel/apartment again. Thank You for a pleasant experience and service.This hotel/residence is perfect for families or couples. We really enjoyed our stay at Steigenberger Residences. It was our second time staying and already planning our next. The location is great only 10 mins away from major attractions like Souq Waqif and Islamic Museum. The staff were great, especially Achref and Soltane who were so attentive and helpful. We will be back next year! :)

We stayed in the residence side and the room were sooo modern and had every white goods needed for a comfterable space. Highly recommned this hotel. The pool, food, staff memebers alll soo professional and very very nice. Location is close to the main attractions can walk to sm destinations or taxi are so cheap. You wont be dissapointed with this hotel at all.

Stayed as late arrival on Qatar airways so used as a stop gap, was very surprised clean and spacious with amenities all around. Would definitely stay longer next time to explore the city from here and best of all value for money.

The Steigenberger is a great place to stay at an affordable price compared to other hotels/resorts in Doha. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 kids in the residences and everything was great. Cleanliness was as you would expect for a place like Doha, staff were always friendly and available to help. The only small downside I would say was the location, it is located in quite a residential area so views aren’t too great but the plus side is, you have a local hyper market less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel as well as a pharmacy. We were using local taxis to get around via the Karwa app which is a must if you are visiting Qatar without hiring a car. Most of the popular tourist locations and the main airport are within a 25 minute drive and taxis are cheaper than the UK/Uber. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Qatar

Additionally, the kitchen had an unpleasant odor, and both bathroom shower enclosures were poorly sealed, causing water to spill all over the floors. Overall, it did not meet the standards we anticipated. The location was not ideal. It’s better to explore Doha from areas like West Bay or the Business District for a more convenient and vibrant experience.

Overall the residence is Steigenberger Doha was very good. We upgraded to a 3 bedroom deluxe which gave 2 bathrooms. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was included and had a good range of offerings although this remained essentially unchanged everyday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was straightforward. Restaurants in the hotel part of the Steigenberger were good quality but relatively expensive compared to the local eateries. It was handy to have a hypermarket next door. Location was closer to the airport side so took Ubers regularly to get to local attractions - they are very quick and cheap. Our only disappointment was the lack of amenities in the residence kitchen of our room. No washing up things like cloths or liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no tea towels and very limited cutlery. Water coffee and tea bags were provided. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was poor, crowded, short staffed, unsure of ordering stations. Low staff at busier times. Cleaners- have to call to remind them to clean. The apartments come with no cleaning liquids.

Great 3 bed suite which was perfect for our 7 night stay as a family of 4. We had everything we needed including washer/dryer and dishwasher. The pool area was good for a few hours just resting in the sun, but we spent most of the week out exploring Doha, the Steigenberger was perfectly located for the metro and was why we chose it, it was literally a 5 minute walk to Umm Ghawailina station. I only have 2 minor criticisms and that was 1) the showers kept overflowing the trays and water ended up everywhere, the tiny bath mat couldn’t contain it, and it may be better to just leave a squeegee as the bathrooms are wet rooms anyway. 2) there needs to be a clothes rack to hang wet clothes on near the windows / in the sun.. there is a short pull out line in each bathroom but it can hold about 3 items. It’s too cold to dry anything in there too. Not everything can be tumble dried. Other than that it was good, we only ate breakfast there once and it was mediocre and expensive. There’s so many amazing places to eat in Doha!

I stayed for four nights. The staff were friendly and the food was good overall, although I wasn’t a big fan of the seafood night. Unfortunately, the main issue was the bed — there appeared to be bed bugs, and I ended up with a rash all over my body. That was very disappointing and uncomfortable.

The best thing about the property are the staff. Always courteous and pleasant and willing to help. The only negative was when one off our party was feeling slightly ill at dinner time and we requested that she be allowed to take some food to her room to eat later. One of the waiting staff took our request to the manager who said it was company policy not to take food from the restaurant. Understandable but this was an exceptional circumstance. All the manager could suggest was that we used room service. Very helpful!!!

We book The apartment for 3 People and it is very spacious, everything one needs at home were provided as standard in the apartment, they provided washing powder for washing our stuff on request. They cleaned the room every day, restock towels and bottle waters. Free WiFi , very supportive and welcoming staff.The foods during dining were good especially on the seafood night. However, some foods need to be hot but were cold which they staff adjusted after we complain of the cold food. Overalls, we enjoyed our stay.

The service at steigenberger was amazing,service was very fast and the cleaners did a great job daily when cleaning our rooms up. Breakfast was nice and service at breakfast was also fast my family really enjoyed their stay in the hotel, I will definitely be back for another stay the next time I’m in Doha

Excellent 5 star hotel! Our family of 5 stayed at the apartment (3 bed, 2 bath) which is technically a different building but connected by a small mall still in development. Each block has its own reception but they also talk to each other and, given we were full board, it would be a short walk across to the hotel fit breakfast, lunch and dinner. We used Uber to get around the city without any issue, the hotel is only around 15 minutes from the airport and the standard Karwa taxi was enough for all our family plus cases! The pool is excellent and there is also a decking area plus table tennis table for free, as well as spa services etc for a charge. Apartment itself was spacious and welcoming got daily housekeeping. Customer service from the front desk is excellent and I would definitely stay here again!

Our second stay here and room are getting a bit worn down now. Broken cupboards, burnt iron etc just signs that the apartments need some TLC to get them to the standard they once were. Hot water in bathrooms takes a bit of time so lot of wasted water something management need to sort. For the price you can’t really complain and ideal spot for sightseeing especially souk waqif and surrounding museums.
