Webb's Year Round Resort

They are renovating during our visit. Saw the same guy at counter for 2 days but he was professional and helpful. Great attitude. Pool was very cold and hot tub was not hot. No complimentary breakfast but they had 24 hour coffee and snacks. Location was grerat for Mayville. The lake is right across the street and there are several restuarants and bars close by. Tourist stops as well. Would return after renovations are done if I plan another trip.

No microwave. No elavator

It's been years since we'd been to Chautauqua and Webb's had been a crown jewel. This visit we were met with a very different experience. Everything was under construction (painting in the hall, baseboard trim laying about, art from the walls on the floor and construction debris everywhere. The restaurant we'd been looking forward to dining at has been closed for years. The room had a great view and has been recently renovated, which was a delight. We were one of only a few guests, so the "resort felt more like the hotel in The Shining. The pool was closed pending inspection. The breakfast was SUPER-sad not worth getting up for. I hope the management can turn this property back to its glory days.

They are remodeling! Be aware that there is no more restaurant. The pool and hot tub were being remodeled and will be very nice when done. Ask what is open if it matters. The bed was very comfy!

Hotel is in the process of renovation. Front desk lass was lovely. Pool was nice. Small snacks in the morning before we continued on our road trip. Recommend.

Hot tub and pool

Webb’s is an old school resort that they are in the process of renovating the property. At this time the pool and workout area are closed. The coffee area is very limited and has ‘value’ priced creamer, and prepackaged mini donuts, etc. none of it was appealing so I decided to go next door to She Sings restaurant and have a hot breakfast instead. The location is good,

Old and outdated. They are renovating. Smells weird. Hot tub is not hot. Was told the temperature only reaches 85 degrees. The pool was freezing. Beds were ok.

This was a great hotel and for a Saturday I payed 125 on a busy weekend. The guy in the front was helpful and friendly. It’s an older hotel, but the room was very clean, they had a swimming pool, hot tub. We sat on the patio had a glass of wine and can see the the beautiful lake. They also had a nice putt putt outside the resort, that belong to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Place is struggling. Had to climb stairs with luggage to second floor. Building is messy looking and very outdated. Pool heater and hot stub still not working after 2 years. Continental breakfast is packaged food, cereal, and limited fruit choices - no hot food selections.

The bathroom was moldy. The bathroom had a large opening in the wall , but was covered by a shower curtain. Tv didn’t work. The window blinds fell off the window. Smelled bad in the room.

They are in the middle of making changes but the bathroom, in particular, was not clean. There was hair in the shower drain, and thick soap scum in the shower and sink area soap holders. Washcloths were either stained or so thin that you could see through. The pool area was not real clean either. There was no breakfast at 730 am an: they offer breakfast. There was no staff around to voice concerns about the lack of cleanliness in the room either. For the price it was very disappointing.

It's being renovated. The people there are very friendly and helpful. It's very clean for being renovated. Nice room, comfortable bed, and nice view of lake. I would stay there again, no problems.

Dirty. Dirty sock and underwear from someone prior. Broken toilet seat

bathroom was not clean use bars of soap laying and bathtub scum on bathtub and faucets. Just plain dirty in the bathroom room itself was OK. I was afraid sheets weren’t changed, but I can’t prove that.

This place was probably great at one time - but would not stay again! When we arrived, there was nobody at the front desk. There was another customer there who told us he called the phone number from the websiteand they just set keys out for people to take for your room. Had your name and room number on it. The ice machines are broken. There was dirty rags in my bathtub. It said there was a restaurant there, but it is being sold so not open. The view of the lake is blocked by a lot of houses. The balcony had cobwebs and dead bugs all over it. Also, there’s a light on the balcony that gets turned on around 8:30 9 o’clock at night and it’s so bright that the curtains don’t even help it. Keep the light out when you’re trying to sleep. And there’s no way for you to turn it off. It’s controlled by the hotel the floor was dirty. I know they’re under renovation, but it was pretty sad on the Clean aspect of things we did didn’t even end up staying the whole night. We turned our keys in and just drove home. And we still never saw anyone at the front desk the whole time we were there. we arrived around 2 PM and all the stuff from breakfast time was still sitting out the outdoor area around the pool had peoples litter all over it. Just not worth the stay or the cost.

Never stay here! Had to request new room. First one heat didnt work. Second one was dirty. There was dirty towels left in room. Bathroom wasnt cleaned. There was urine on toliet!! Requested that housekeeping come and clean room. When I returned there was still urine on toliet. Smelled like all they did was spray cleaner in air!! Upon checking out could not find one person to talk to!! I feel i should get a full refund!

Our room was very nice and clean

The balcony needed some paint, cleaning, and repairs to the screen doors. Other than that, our newly remodeled room was very nice and clean.

Upon arrival there was no one at the desk , but the keys to our room were there with our names clearly on them. A phone next to the counter with a sign says pick up if you have any questions. So I did, person answering said we were all set. Room were clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was good and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again. Cheers

Tv remote didn’t work. Bathroom water pressure was low .

I really liked having the outdoor patio, jacuzzi, small refrigerator, coffee maker, & microwave in the room. The bed was nice and comfortable. I liked the workout room, downstairs pool and jacuzzi. However, the two eliptical machines didn't work for tracking, but I used my fit bit and still enjoyed using all the workout equipment. Decent selection for breakfast also. I liked seeing the miniature golf outside also, although we didn't get an opportunity this time to play. I liked our room view of the lake!! Comfortable outside furniture also. We used it a few times while there. Friendly staff & signs they are undergoing renovation- may become even nicer than it is already!!

The staff and this property are so unusually friendly and nice if they could get something or help us they would. Just cool people. Keep hoping some of the mess could be cleaned and rooms had properly working, handles, and locks. Coffee service was great! Usually with snacks ! AC bed and water were great! Every room had balcony! With a lake veiw!

We waiting 20 mins for a person to show up and check us in. Room had no working AC. Had to switch. That took another 20 minutes. TV doesn't work. Will avoid this place in the future!

We were on a golfing week day and though it would be nice to stay at Webbs. There was so much lighting on the outside that our room never got dark at night. Security I guess? The room was nice and the beds were good. Thank the staff for the work they dol

Hotel is run down and out of date. Outside was dirty and weedy with flower boxes filled with trash. It was chosen specifically for the king "deluxe" room with amenities, specifically the spa tub. Once in the tub, we discovered it did not work! Found out there are electrical issues! Concerning due to water and electricity! Also, should have been disclosed at the time of booking. Were only offered a 15% discount when we complained. Our room also had a porch that we couldn't sit on due to dirty, webs and spider infestation!

Was a nice affordable option. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

I understand this is under new owners and improvements are being made, however, we tried to check in at 9:00 am, understand its 3: but we let them know we were there and going riding on snowmobiles in person. At 8:00 pm they called me when we were eating at a restaurant and i told them we would be there very shortly. We went into the mail lobby and no one was there and it said pick up the phone on the counter and we will be there to help. 1/2 hour went by calling and calling the phone no one. We thought the person quit wand went home. We called our friends at the "other hotel" and after 45 minutes we were picking our bags up and then the person came out of no where we ended up staying and the rooms were decent but they cant leave the counter. He apologized but that was it. A little pricey, and the continental was breakfast was toast & packaged doughnuts and coffee. The pool and hot tub were not in service either.

We were visiting family in the area and chose here because we know the area. The resort was clean and newly remodeled. The staff was very friendly, especially Kelly. The breakfast was not much, just a cereal bar, some muffins and bagels and coffee so we ate at a local restaurant down the street. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

The front desk staff lives in the back office and greeted us in sleepware. The facility is very dated and hasn't been kept up in quite a while. The rooms were dirty with broken faucets and one half dollar bar of soap. The patio had pieces of wood covering roof water damage which had wasps nest in it. The breakfast included cereal, muffins and pop tarts and Keurig coffee. At night the hallways wreaked of weed and we felt unsafe in this place. It appears at one time in its hayday, Webbs was a premier hotel for dozens of stars and celebrities. Today it's a run down motel with a candy shop and everything else was shutdown. Maybe somebody will buy this place and restore it back to its glory.

We loved our visit and Webbs so much we came up from Pa 2 weekends in a row. Kelly and Sabrina are amazing and make you feel like you are at home.

I might classify this as a motel rather than a resort, and some of the facility needs updating, but they are in the process of remodeling. It’s nice and close to a lot of attractions, and our balcony provided a nice view of the lake. Mini golf was fun, and Webb’s Candy and Gifts had some nice jitems. Overall, decent for the price.

Webb's Resort is a quaint accommodation. It's about 5 minutes away from the Chataqua Institute. It was perfect for our overnight stay after attending the Laufey concert at the Chataqua Institute. We had the lakeside view which was literally across the street from the lake. I'd definitely stay again.

A simple and quiet place to stay. No breakfast was provided though even though it was advertised and mentioned to us upon arrival. Pool and hot tub were nice

Way over priced, we're not paying prices to pay for the remodel. Charge for the value of the room not for the future remodeled room. Breakfast selection bare/ and the fruit was brown. Didn't offer any water or drinks except coffee. Desk personnel never around especially after 10pm

The pool was not working the entire time we were there. I understand that they recently changed owners and are working out the kinks. The front desk staff and manager were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hottub in the room worked well with no issues. We tried 3 different tvs by the time we found one that works. There were only 2 towels and washclothes in the room. Housekeeping did not clean our room after requested. The breakfast was very limited with no drinks other than coffee offered (not even water).

Breakfast was only "grab and go". Not really an issue, but expedia didn\'t note that.

I liked the front desk clerk. She was nice. I didn't like the "breakfast".

Only negative is that the breakfast left something to be desired. They need a kitchen and staff to manage and maintain the breakfast area…
