Almost everything was excellent. Room was clean-setting and furniture one of the best I’ve experienced at any other hotel. The entire staff very helpful and friendly. Only rating on condition down one peg. The elevator out of order-things happen. The sink in bathroom very slow to drain-needs to be snaked. Room 308-reported to cleaning staff. Overall-one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Great job! 👏

Good value, quiet location It was not disclosed that the pool and hot tub are shut down for renovations. Larkspur and hotels.com should be more accurate in the description of amenities. This was not an unplanned outage. The pool area is being renovated.

Everyone was extremely friendly and the room was perfect (and HUGE!) Breakfast was early and only 3 hrs, but we made it work. MAJOR plus that they are dog-friendly! One minor issue, the indoor pool was being renovated, so kids weren't able to burn energy in between scheduled vacation activities. Mostly a great experience!

Across the board, what a wonderful stay! We were traveling the turnpike and needed to make a stop during ice storm. Read reviews of Larkspur Landing and hotel did not disappoint! Was absolutely amazing! We got a family room, which was enormous! Two King beds and plenty of room. Everything was spotlessly clean from the public areas to our sleeping quarters and bathroom. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Not just a run of the mill hot breakfast but various options along with a hot chocolate bar! Admittedly, our stay was better than our planned destination at Camelback in the Poconos! Truly would try to find a reason to stay again! We go to Hershey quite a bit and even though it’s a bit of a drive, I would even consider staying at Larkspur Landing and driving to Hershey. Thank you for a wonderful comfortable amazing stay! Even some of the local dining options from the outside I thought would be sketchy, but found an absolutely amazing Indian restaurant called Royal Kitchen. Our first night was the best in our trip! What an unexpected surprise across the board!

Very disappointed. We stopped for an overnight after hours of driving and the minute we entered the hotel smelled musty. The elevator was not operational so they moved us to 1st floor. There were fans where there was an obvious large water leak. The wall paper in the hall was falling off the walls and taped up! Our room ceiling was filled with water damage and the linens smelled musty. We didn’t sleep well due to the odor. The staff at breakfast was very friendly, as were the cleaning personnel in the hallways.

Carpeting in the room was dirty and had used utensils on the floor. Elevators were broken. Ice machine was empty. Cookies were advertised as being in the lobby but there were not any. My kids asked the front desk and the staff member just said “there are none”

I got a great price on this room and it was pretty clean in the actual room except for hair in the shower. The staff is extremely nice and the facility isn’t in too bad of shape. My only problem was an awful moldy mildew water smell in the halls and a sewer smell in my room. If the bad smells weren’t an issue, I could give this hotel 5 stars.

The staff were exceptionally attentive and responsive to us. The hotel looks out onto open land and has a lovely view of the wild woods. The rooms were well equipped. I would certainly recommend this for several days while sightseeing in the area or for an overnight while traveling.

Room was very clean and well-designed. Bed was very comfortable. My only issue is that the room's sound proofing is inadequate. We could hear voices and the tv in the neighboring room. The woman who takes care of breakfast was delightful. Always smiling; started our day off right!

Easy check in and the Receptionist was very nice. Rooms are unique. A bit dark due to the colours used. But comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom. We thought our room would be noisey as it was just down the hall from Reception. But it was fine.

When I came in staff was very kind and told me I was the gues of the day. After a long day that felt wonderful to feel appreciated for just being there. When we got the room it was definitely more then expected. Very large room with a huge bed and sofa. Loved the feel of just being there. Very clean and spotless. Had a very clean but fall smell and I loved that. Checked out the bathroom and that was also very large and clean. Liked that they made sure you had many towels and wash cloths. Extra shower things, toilet paper and soaps. The bed was so comfortable and had that very clean linen smell. The room itself was very quiet and you didnt hear the person next door so I finally got the much needed rest qnd relaxing time I was looking for. The air was nice and just kept the fan on for me since the covers were so warm. The next morning I seen the cleaning staff as I came down very sweet and asked me if I needed anything told thank you I am more then good. Breakfast was honestly very awesome and Breakfast lady was more then helpful and sweet. I can say my stay was definitely over the top and will be coming back. They got all 10's here from me. I do definitely enjoy the view I had while eating breakfast with the deer and birds. This really just make me take a moment and be happy to get away from all the stress in life. So thank you all for your amazing service and just helping me relax.

Outstanding as usual. My fiancé and I have been here several times. The staff treats you like you’ve been lifelong friends. I know when we come here that the rooms will be clean and the staff is wonderful.

The man at the counter had lost his password and could not access computer. We waited in the lobby for 45 minutes. It was late, we were tired and we were the only guests checking in. He explained that he could not tell which rooms might be occupied. I suggested that he could knock on a door to see if a room was available/occupied. Which he finally did.

Entire facility was extremely clean. Staff was very friendly and personable. Breakfast area attendant very cheerful and constantly cleaning area and replenishing food items. Overall an excellent stay. The only drawback is that you don't have name recognition. Otherwise we highly recommend your hotel to any and all travelers.

The hotel is fine. But a good hotel won't incorrectly charge you an extra amount, admit they made a mistake over the phone, but then take no action to correct their mistake. Of course, I can challenge the charges with my bank but that is extra work for me. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a hotel that works this way.

Good stay overall, but be aware of the elevator issue. I arrived at 4 a.m. after a long travel day and was checked into a third-floor room. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service, and I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. The front desk clerk offered help, which I appreciated, but I declined since I only had carry-on bags. Still, climbing to the third floor multiple times over a three-day stay was a challenge—especially at 90 years old. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent, and the air conditioner worked quietly and efficiently. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and the staff were friendly throughout my stay. The hotel is located on Hampton Drive and may have previously operated as a Hampton Inn. If the price is reasonable and you can avoid the upper floors, this can be a good value stay.

Every person on the staff was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to provide the best service possible and asked if there was anything else they could do for us multiple times a day. Always upbeat, ready and willing to have a friendly conversation. I can't say enough good things about my stay here.

Would never come back!!!! the worst hotel experience ever! Had to wait over 1 hour to check in.There was none who could help me When the desk person finally came in she said I hope we have a room available. I told her I paid for this over 6months ag.Than we where on the third floor with no elevator service .

We were happily impressed with Larkspur Landing (which we had never heard of!). The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and had every desired amenity. And wow what a wonderful breakfast menu! The lady server there was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely seek to stay here again if we are ever on this route. Our only negative observation was the smell in the air outside from a local sewage plant, which even entered the room. But turning on the a/c seemed to take it away.

Hotel was ok. Not worth the money I was charged. Traveling back home and needed to stop for the night. Area was pretty full due to weekend car show. Greeted by an awful foul smell when getting out of the car to enter hotel. Front desk said it's the waste treatment plant. Room smelled musty as well. No soaps or shampoo in shower. Was ok for a quick overnight. Staff was friendly.

The hotel is located on a short side road just off Rte. 11; it sets far enough back so that road noise isn't an issue plus there's a light at the side road allowing easy access to Rte. 11. The lobby is inviting with complimentary fruit (apples) and cookies. The hotel itself is very clean; the staff are very polite and friendly. The room was large with a fridge and microwave nicely housed in a cabinet; there was a coffee pot on the desk for those so inclined. The beds are semi firm and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast is included with your stay. Cereals, breads, bagel, muffins, yogurt and fruit are available as well as warm items such as omelets, sausage, oatmeal and waffles. The warm items vary from day to day. Beverages include juices and coffee. There is a young lady that tends to the breakfast area, she is very attentive to your needs. Overall, a great place to stay at a very reasonable price that makes you feel like family!

This was probably the best stay I’ve had during 2025, and I travel frequently. Clean and beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, especially the breakfast buffet area had something for everyone, including bags of fresh baked cookies to go! Thanks for making my stay fabulous!

I can’t say enough about this hotel. For the price you can’t beat it. I’m from around the area and it’s in a very safe. The breakfast has a huge variety. The staff is excellent.

Trip was wonderful. Room was beautiful and everything was great! Will plan to stay there on our next trip through to Maine and back. Breakfast was wonderful. It was a full house at 6am with a big group of young teenage boys and she kept everything full and ready!

Very accessible from the highway and very clean…. Beds were super comfy. Just wish the breakfast served some protein meats like sausage or bacon for the long day ahead of us. We will be back.

This was once a pretty nice hotel. It is currently in a weird transitional period, where it is about to become a branch of a major hotel brand, but until then is in unbranded limbo with no name on the front of the building. I regularly stay in the Harrisburg area, and it can be an appealing choice because it's quite affordable, the room and bed are pleasant enough, and there's a beautiful view of a field out the back. Unfortunately, on this stay, the bathroom in the room had some mold on the walls. The breakfast had been pared back from when I stayed there another time and no longer included eggs or other steam table offerings. When I poured the 2% milk in the coffee, something tasted off and I spit it out immediately. The pool was closed off and unavailable. And this was all on top of the fact that the hotel is not in a particularly desirable area, on the edge of Carlisle with nothing much in walking distance. So, not the best, and going downhill.

The ladies at the front desk were polite and helpful. The room was unbelievably dirty - cobwebs, thick dust, stained sheets, dragging bed dust ruffle, carpet I wouldn't walk barefooted on. The breakfast was adequate, but a protein option would have been nice. In their defense, the property was being operated independently and as of 11/1 is to be transferred to the Hyatt and all rooms are supposed to then be upgraded.
