Dragonfly Hotel Peterborough

Checkin and checkout were friendly and efficient. Some parts of the room looked a little tired like dings in the door frame, but the bathroom looked recently renovated and the shower was lovely. No real complaints especially for the price.

Loved the view of the lake at breakfast.Very good nights sleep, bed very comfortable and clean.Staff very helpful, ordered a taxi for me. Great.

Booked last minute. Pleasantly surprised... lovely room, clean bathroom. Quilt cover had some black marks (looked like something from washing machine or ironing also something that looked like dried glue). Bed was comfortable enough although bed frame squeaked when i was turning over during the night...apart from a few very minor things, would definitely stay again. The surrounding area is peaceful, calming and fresh.

Property is in the good location, close to city center. I like the man make lake front of it. There is a good waking track. I don't like the condition of the hotel and the rooms. Breakfast wasn't good. The poor girl seemed over worked, trying to get the breakfast ready. Morning coffee was cold and old during our 3 days stay.

First room we was given smelt of cigarette smoke this was quickly changed after noting this to reception. Rooms are very basic and the hotel could use some updating in hall areas. Food/breakfast was plentifully! We arrived late for breakfast but they quickly fixed up a full English breakfast and allowed us to access the continental breakfast area. Staff were beyond amazing! Parking was easy and it's a short walk from the city centre. Basic and convenient. Lovely walk around the hotel.
