Beautiful room with an incredible view! No elevator so be prepared to go up and down a couple of flights of stairs. Staff do offer to help with bags but it was still a little tricky with knee injuries.

The place is fantastic and the sea sea view is mind blowing. Only thing i was disappointed was that the swimming pool was no use as its too deep.

Good place to stay but noisy at night with traffic visiting headland. My husband has a white noise machine so it wasn’t too bad. There is no lift so if you are on the 3rd floor you will have to use the stairs. Although it’s really only 2 flights of stairs so not too difficult. They do offer to help with luggage if needed. Views were awesome from our room 306 and it was a good stop over for the night.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We arrived really late and the receptionist was very pleasent. We had a corner room which overlooked the bay. The room was clean and tidy with a balcony, unfortunately there was no lift. It was easy to get to and was in a very good location. There was on site parking and a small swimming pool at the front of the hotel. We walked across the road where the sign said you could see whales, but we didn't see any at the time of our trip which was a shame. Overall very good.

Very dated, nothing like the picture. Staff were helpful in arranging access as we arrived after hours. Cleanliness was ok, shower was very small and water pressure was awful. Our room was just outside the breakfast room and was very noisy. Car parking was limited, we needed to park on the street. Nowhere near enough car parks.

Good location. There is a power point to charge EVs (which is rare and therefore good) but there is only one parking spot to use it and it is not marked as such so petrol cars park there and there is no way to charge your EV..

Where to start. Not enough parking, we couldn’t watch the tv without the internet buffering every three minutes or so. The carpet was old and filthy. There were garbage trucks going up and back of the back of room starting at 6.15 am in the mornings. The room next door had his tv on 24 hours and we could hear it over our tv 24 hours a day. No cutlery or plates in our room. The bathroom window was overlooked by nine apartments at the back, and it is only vaguely opaque so our silhouette was seen clearly by strangers. No privacy. Checked in and front office stunk of food and phone was ringing endlessly. A man was walking around and never answered it? I was told emphatically by girl at front desk that we were leaving too early as we had booked a late check out. We didn’t. She was so insistent. The bathroom was not clean, there were hand prints everywhere, where the people had grabbed the walls to support getting in the spa. There is some loud grinding whirring noise that went on for hours. This was a horrible experience and I would tell anyone to not stay there.

The room was very dusty, bathroom smelt bad from drains, cracked tiles and dodgy repairs of ceiling and flooring, bathroom basin didn’t drain when running the water. Blinds on window were sitting almost 1 foot out from window letting in lots of light and visible when people walk past at night. Other window over kitchenette bench no blind for blocking light and old louvre style windows that didn’t fully shut leaving the air conditioning unit working very hard to keep the room cool. Could hear next doors tv and conversation through the walls. Check in lady was lovely but that’s about where the good ended with our two night stay unfortunately.

Definitely NOT a 4 Star property as advertised. After hour checkin worked well. Property needs to be refurnished. Carpet in room was extremely worn and soiled.

The room needs a makeover. Doors missing off coffee/ tea cabinet or remove hinges if meant to be off. Carpet ripped at entry way to kids room. Bathroom wall near sink has toothpaste splatter. Rusty hinges on door and toilet roll holder. Shower slight mould suggest to replace silicon. Block out curtains near king bed has white stains on it. Please note I did hotel auditing for a living so hopefully this will help you. Staff were lovely and very professional. Breakfast room very sad indeed. Not worth having if not done properly. Thank you.

Good: Great location, short walking distance to the town beach. Big and comfy bed. There's free access to Netflix. Bad: Old and very worn out condition. Room felt dusty. The property and room look significantly different than the pictures in the booking site. As our room was on the ground floor, while it's convenient to have our car parked very near to our room, the room was also very noisy from the street noise as well from the hotel hallway. The "king" bed was 2 beds combined together.

Best sleep I’ve ever had! Beds are SUPER comfortable and we had the best view!!!! Staff are super friendly and housekeeping was lovely too. Would definitely stay again. Walking distance down to restaurants too! Highly recommended!

Photos make it look nicer than it really is. Yes, the rooms have amazing views, but the breakfast area leaves a lot to be desired.Considering the insanely stunning view, it has. Room was just fine. Not bad but not great either

The property was clean although a bit dated, which meant it looked nothing like the pictures advertising it. It did have a great sea view from the room we chose though (although the balcony was quite small). It was very noisy overnight as it’s quite a busy road and our room was next to the breakfast area, so we could hear that being set up quite early. It wasn’t a terrible stay just not what we had expected from the pictures/description.

I began when we arrived and were told the room we booked a year ago was not available and we had been downgraded but the price was the same. The Assistant Manager was very apologetic and after 45 minutes did some shuffling and arranged for a similar room to what we had booked. Next issue was the wifi was terrible and the tv streaming constantly froze and had a blurred picture. It was unwatchable. The lounge had so many stains it felt like it was a hazard to our health to sit on it. Finally the loud banging on the roof and paper thin walls made for a very disturbed sleep and was not a relaxing experience at all. Absolutely not a 4 star property and would not recommend it to anyone.

Advised I had an ocean view and balcony. Looked into carpark on ground level. No ocean view or balcony. Room furniture was shabby. Microwave was rusted. Bathroom was clean and bright.

I arrived late at night had to climb 3 flights of stairs with bags only to find the card left for me didnt work. I then had to go back to the front entrance to collect a new card from the card safe. After a 6 hour delay in flights this was a poor start

As a Gold Accor member having being to this property one week earlier, the change in service delivery and overall experience it was a disappointment. I asked for breakfast and was advised no breakfast was available. ! I found this to be inconvenient as I had to leave earlier the next morning. The service seems inconsistent from week to week, their staffing changes don’t seem to maintain minimum standards of service, no recognition of Accor membership and even when told so, it’s indifferent. Ammenities are limited but location was good.

I had a very late check-in and had notified reception in advance. The late check-in procedure was seamless, simple, and made gaining access very easy - thank you. Unfortunately, I was woken by the evacuation bell and alert. While this was not the fault of the premises, I observed the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. They were assisting and answering questions for everyone directing them all to the evacuation area, which was very clearly organised. I wanted to highlight this so management is aware that the staff were sensible, in control, and extremely helpful.

Great beach location with amazing see views. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. The receptionist (lee I think) was 1st class. We arrived a few hours early, checked to see if were able to park and she offered to check us in straight away. I also witnessed her run from her desk to help a disabled person in the carpark. One thing to consider when booking is there's no lifts. Although there are notes to say that staff will help with any cases. You can be on the beach within minutes and there's plenty of places to eat within a short walk.

We arrived a few hours early, checked to see if were able to park and she offered to check us in straight away. I also witnessed her run from her desk to help a disabled person in the carpark. One thing to consider when booking is there's no lifts. Although there are notes to say that staff will help with any cases. You can be on the beach within minutes and there's plenty of places to eat within a short walk.

Checking was quick, and the young gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He even offered to help with our luggage. The property is close to all amenities and offers great views overlooking the coastline

The location is great with views to the beach and ocean generally. Easy walk into town via the boardwalk is very enjoyable. A few nice cafes/restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

mislwading advertisement; room wasnt whats shown in the booking, no parking even though it was advertised as free parking; swimming pool closed for winter even though it was advertised ro have pool; very noisy all night with some sort of machine in the hotel plus road noise; finally biggest one is that the toilet door was a barn door which has huge gaps when closed and no vent in toilet, so, onw done business in toilet, everyone in room can smell it; camping would be better; brekdas offered waa ugly looking croissant and bread; this is not a 4 star hotel

The property position was excellent having great views and easy parking and easy walk/drive to main shopping area. The breakfasts were excellent except for the coffee which did not give a nice late or cappuccino. Would go back again for sure.

Photos make it look nicer than it really is. Yes, the rooms have amazing views, but the breakfast area leaves a lot to be desired.Considering the insanely stunning view, it has. Room was just fine. Not bad but not great either

Great location. We booked the upper floor coast-facing all-windows room. Spectacular views. Noisy (traffic) during the day, but fine at night for sleeping. Good blackout drapes. The buffet breakfast was very minimal, but adequate, and the staff were nice. Great area with Town Beach right below the property. Easy access to the beach and harbour walks, good nearby restaurants. Parking was a breeze on-site.

As a Gold Accor member having being to this property one week earlier, the change in service delivery and overall experience it was a disappointment. I asked for breakfast and was advised no breakfast was available. ! I found this to be inconvenient as I had to leave earlier the next morning. The service seems inconsistent from week to week, their staffing changes don’t seem to maintain minimum standards of service, no recognition of Accor membership and even when told so, it’s indifferent. Ammenities are limited but location was good.

Excellent location and view though we dud ask for a room on a higher level as we were on the ground floor. No fuss on moving though and the receptionist was very helpful and accommodating when we asked. Only complaint was we had to ask for the room to ne cleaned as it was not fine on one day, bit again,no worries when we asked. Breakfast is basic so we missed that but ither than that, great place to stay. Only other suggestion would be to put some flowers in the tubs outside some rooms as they were empty.

The so called “breakfast” for which we paid additional amount….its just bread and butter one. Not the real cooked ones like…hash-browns, scrambled eggs etc. They didn’t have a cereal at least. It’s in fact extremely unfair to call it a “free breakfast” and charge $40 for that. And the rooms which are outside the hotel….they are just motel style. You enter the rooms from outside (open air). The pictures on your Hotels.com app are totally misleading to say the least. We r just giving our honest feedback. Not sure how much you really care.

When calling to add on another night the girl on the phone was not clear that we could have the same room. After asking her a few times she then told us we were able to. Upon arrival, the same staff in the office Was on her phone when we walked in a greeted us while still looking at her phone. When I requested some more towels, I was told we would receive clean towels in the morning. I told her that I was going to shower and then use the spa ,requiring more towels. I asked for 4 towels. When returning to our room the was 3 towels. Next day, our room had bed was made . There were 2 clean towels, no bath mat for shower bathroom. There was not even bottled water. Not even ice trays in the freezer. No mini bar or any snacks to purchase. The was no information of Port Macquarie. No condominiums explaining local sites,attractions, activities, restaurants extra as per other Motels provide. Would we stay there again. No Harsh review . But fair.
