The front desk staff who checked us in and out are extremely rude. At check out when we were double checking if any privileges from our membership booking applied, he literally lied to on our face saying discount has been applied which it has not according to all the receipts that i go through on the spot. After that in told him he shall just be honest instead of making it up. He didn’t even apologise and was rushing us to pay! Without even a good bye or thank you which is extremely unusual in thailand as this country has been my second home for over 20 years. Stingy on room amenities too, need multiple requests on basic items like tooth brushes and tooth paste. Terrible gym facilities, lack of equipment and maintenance. Looks likes it’s from the 80s.

The hotel was nice. The staff are all very friendly. Breakfast buffet was good. NYE buffet and celebrations were great. Two bottles of water were replenished daily in the room Would have liked not to have been charged for a bucket of ice all the drinks we ordered for by the pool had a service charge…even if you picked them up from the bar, not sure that should happen but other than that it’s a good hotel with two nice pools and a mini gym.

I had a great time on Lamai Beach! Pavilion was v nice. I loved my room with the plunge pool. It gave me more room and access to outside on ground floor. Awesome! Bar was nice. Bartenders are sweet. All the staff makes a big effort! Def would stay again. They need to replace the outdoor lounge chairs!

Island paradise. A little far from the busy island center but the smaller, food centric night market is right next door. Attention to detail in the facilities is incredible. Happy hour is a busy time to meet and mingle with fellow travelers, but once it’s over the resort is silent and peaceful at night. Somehow the resort managed to keep the jet skis out of direct line of sight on the beautiful beach so even as beach traffic increases, the serenity is maintained. The bar next door has a free fire show on the beach at night, just need to buy a drink to sit. I booked the private plunge pool suite. Worth the upgrade. Maintenance and house keeping snuck in to check and maintain the pool daily. I did not do breakfast every day at the resort but the day I did I was impressed. However make sure you check out the French bakery up the street for people watching and a ham and cheese croissant. Rooms have a fridge but no mini bar. 7-11 is a 4 minute walk to stock up on your own cheap snacks, drinks and sunscreen. This is a quite part of the island, family friendly, but still some crazy bars in walking distance without invading the privacy. Can’t say enough about this resort. Felt like home.

Vi hadde et fint opphold på Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort. Personalet var utrolig hyggelige og serviceinnstilte, og vi følte oss godt ivaretatt hele tiden. Frokosten var veldig god med bra utvalg, og beliggenheten kan knapt bli bedre – midt på Lamai-stranden og med alt man trenger rett utenfor hotellet. Rommet vårt var derimot litt skuffende. De var ganske mørke, tunge i stilen og bar tydelig preg av å være slitne. Her hadde hotellet tjent på en renovering. Balkongløsningen var også litt merkelig, med et badekar plassert ute – kanskje ikke helt praktisk for alle. En stor plussopplevelse var at hotellet ordnet et “kontor” til meg da jeg måtte jobbe under oppholdet – veldig fleksibelt og løsningsorientert. Maten i restauranten var også god, men solsengene rundt bassenget og på stranden var harde og lite komfortable, noe som trakk ned opplevelsen av å slappe av ved vannet. Alt i alt et hotell med fantastisk personale, god frokost og perfekt beliggenhet, men som hadde hatt godt av en oppgradering av rommene og bedre solsenger.

Have no dislikes about accomodation or staff. Reception staff very helpful! Was a perfect stay, one to remember! Decor modern but also traditional and just beautiful surroundings/gardens. Loved the pool/ gym facility. Restaurants food delicious, service fantastic. Beach clean. Stay relaxing.

Wonderful property. Hadn’t been to this area ever and really enjoyed the location. The staff and quality of food was also excellent! Beachfront as well as two pools were awesome.

The property is at a great location and has some of the best beach and pool access in my opinion. The staff were really helpful and the location is in close walking distance to plenty of massages, cafes, bars, and restaurants and the night market. The bar at the property made wonderful drinks and had some great daily deals. We stayed in a plunge pool room that had a really hard bed, and the rooms seemed a worn, but it still was pretty nice.We asked for some extra pillows and they seemed to help. FYI, The cold pluge pool rooms have a separate hotel room above those rooms. You can hear people walking up and down the stairs and above you sometimes. It's worth mention if you don't have any noise cancelling sound at night or are a light sleeper. It's not terriblely loud, but still noticeable, but we were able to deal with it. Overall, it was a great stay and we would stay there again!

This place is a 2 star hotel. The lay out of the facility is horrible. The beach has zero staff for towells, No security at all. Anyone can get into this place at anytime. Beds are hard and uncomfortable and don't recommend.

Check in was easy and quick. There are a lot of steps so not good if there is mobility issues. We run out of toiletries and had to ask for it as maid didn’t check. Only left 4 teabags but had to request more than once. Therefore they need to pay more attention to detail. Staff were amazing especially tring and the other pool staff. On checkout was allowed to use a room to shower as so hot

Close access to the beach was the only plus point. Breakfast quality was terrible, no one at the egg station. We didn’t go back after the first day. Butter was served in a bowl of iced water, floating. Room had hot water issues if the aircon was on strong, have to adjust to 27-28 degrees before hot water would flow. Cleaner did not lock our room door after servicing the room, we were shocked when we got back. No alternative for guests wanting a late check out (we were willing to pay) despite it was very obvious there were many vacant rooms. One morning I was woken by hammering and drilling (with no prior warning there would be work carried out). Water stains were not cleaned in the bathroom daily, more like it was uncleaned. Overall hotel is very aged and service standards not up to scratch

Good location on a nice stretch of Lamai beach. We had a balcony room which was a bit worn out. The cleanliness also left something to be desired. For my taste, the complex is too densely built, it lacks a garden or at least a little more green. Noisy air conditioning. Very nice staff and management.

Our room was very clean, 2 complimentary bottles of water given every day of our stay and a change of towels too. The jacuzzi in the room did not work for the 3 first days; however, staff fixed it. The staff is very good in particularly Tik that checked up on us every day and was always very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and the infinity pool with a view to the beach could not be any better. Night market and shops very close to the hotel. We had a great time.

Wir hatten eine Pool Villa und der Pool war wirklich schon, wurde nur kein einziges Mal gereinigt während der 7 Nächte die wir dort verbracht haben. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, nur die Toilette ist leider direkt neben der Dusche. Man kann zwar einen Vorgang dazwischen ziehen, dieser hängt jedoch auf dem Boden und unserer hatte schon super viele Stockflecken. Und man hat immer Maße Füße wenn man auf die Toilette geht. Die Pools in der Analge sind wirklich sehr schön und auch die Anlage selbst. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Für den Preis hatten wir aber definitiv besseres auf der Insel. Das Personal ist sehr durchwachsen, einige sind sehr freundlich andere eher weniger. Wir wollen einen Roller an der Rezeption mieten. Sie meinte, gerade haben sie keinen Roller für den darauffolgenden Tag aber vielleicht wäre am Nachmittag wieder einer verfügbar und sie meldet sich bis 15 Uhr. Um 16 Uhr sind wir dann an die Rezeption, da sich niemand gemeldet hatte. Erst dann rief sie nochmal bei der Vermietung an und meinte es wäre immer noch keiner da und wir sollten uns selbst um einen kümmern. Wir hatten natürlich sehr schnell einen, aber dennoch finde ich das geht nicht. Insgesamt muss ich das stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht.
Wir hatten eine Pool Villa und der Pool war wirklich schon, wurde nur kein einziges Mal gereinigt während der 7 Nächte die wir dort verbracht haben. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, nur die Toilette ist leider direkt neben der Dusche. Man kann zwar einen Vorgang dazwischen ziehen, dieser hängt jedoch auf dem Boden und unserer hatte schon super viele Stockflecken. Und man hat immer Maße Füße wenn man auf die Toilette geht. Die Pools in der Analge sind wirklich sehr schön und auch die Anlage selbst. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Für den Preis hatten wir aber definitiv besseres auf der Insel. Das Personal ist sehr durchwachsen, einige sind sehr freundlich andere eher weniger. Wir wollen einen Roller an der Rezeption mieten. Sie meinte, gerade haben sie keinen Roller für den darauffolgenden Tag aber vielleicht wäre am Nachmittag wieder einer verfügbar und sie meldet sich bis 15 Uhr. Um 16 Uhr sind wir dann an die Rezeption, da sich niemand gemeldet hatte. Erst dann rief sie nochmal bei der Vermietung an und meinte es wäre immer noch keiner da und wir sollten uns selbst um einen kümmern. Wir hatten natürlich sehr schnell einen, aber dennoch finde ich das geht nicht. Insgesamt muss ich das stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht.

Our Hydro Pool Villa was stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and the private pool was just perfect for relaxing in total privacy. The entire hotel area is immaculately maintained, with a gorgeous main pool and surroundings that feel fresh and newly renovated. Before booking, we were kindly given a guided tour of the property by one of the reception staff, and that level of warm, attentive service really stood out. They took the time to show us everything we wanted to see, always with a genuine smile from start to finish. That personal touch was a big reason we decided to stay here, and we’re so glad we did. Overall, Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort exceeded all our expectations — beautiful rooms, excellent facilities, and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Great location, great accommodation and great facilities. Clean, tidy and staff were great. Breakfast was awesome too. The only downside were the limited local dining options around the venue and noise from the on-site entertainment which seemed to go on until around midnight. Earplugs are a must!

Wir haben 8 Nächte hier verbracht und es hat uns ganz gut gefallen. Die Lage ist mitten am Lamai Beach und es gibt Gehweite einige Restaurants, Bars, Cafés, Massagesalons, Supermärkte und einen Nightmarket. Wir hatten eine Plunge Pool Villa. Der Plunge Pool ist ein leider ein kalter Whirlpool im Schatten, für uns daher eher unbrauchbar. Aber die Villa selbst war super - schön geräumig, nett eingerichtet und das Bett war bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, insbesondere die Mitarbeiter am Pool und am Strand. Auch der Airporttransfer hat super geklappt. Beim Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl an mehreren kleinen Speisen (inkl. frischer Eiergerichte, variierenden Obst- und Gebäckssorten etc.). Was uns weniger gefallen hat waren das restliche Essen im Hotel und dass die Preise im Poolrestaurant nicht gleich in der Getränkekarte inkl. der Servicegebühren, sondern erst auf der Rechnung angegeben werden. Die im Badezimmer zur Verfügung gestellten Kosmetikprodukte (Shampoo, Spülung und Duschgel) rochen uns viel zu blumig und viel zu stark. Areas of the hotel are perhaps a bit tired in places and could do with some TLC but I always think you have to allow a bit of flexibility on this and it certainly wasn't to the extent whereby it affected our enjoyment of our stay.

Vi hadde et fint opphold på Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort. Personalet var utrolig hyggelige og serviceinnstilte, og vi følte oss godt ivaretatt hele tiden. Frokosten var veldig god med bra utvalg, og beliggenheten kan knapt bli bedre – midt på Lamai-stranden og med alt man trenger rett utenfor hotellet. Rommet vårt var derimot litt skuffende. De var ganske mørke, tunge i stilen og bar tydelig preg av å være slitne. Her hadde hotellet tjent på en renovering. Balkongløsningen var også litt merkelig, med et badekar plassert ute – kanskje ikke helt praktisk for alle. En stor plussopplevelse var at hotellet ordnet et “kontor” til meg da jeg måtte jobbe under oppholdet – veldig fleksibelt og løsningsorientert. Maten i restauranten var også god, men solsengene rundt bassenget og på stranden var harde og lite komfortable, noe som trakk ned opplevelsen av å slappe av ved vannet. Alt i alt et hotell med fantastisk personale, god frokost og perfekt beliggenhet, men som hadde hatt godt av en oppgradering av rommene og bedre solsenger.

We had a wonderful week in the 2 Bedroom Pool residence, there are 5 separate villas, adjacent to the hotel that share the hotel's facilities. We were in Villa 905, furthest from the beach but surprisingly quiet and private - you couldn't hear any noise from the road and we were further away from the noisy music of the beach club next door. The villa was spacious, air conditioned and clean with modern fittings, we loved the private pool, roof deck and space to relax. The beach in front of the hotel was clean and calm with warm, clear water and there are lounges on the beach for hotel guests, perfect for beachside cocktails! The staff were all lovely and friendly especially at the generous breakfast buffet. The hotel is well located for the Lamai Night Markets which were a great option for dinner, there are also lots of shops and restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Great, convenient location. Propery grounds and facilities very good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Shame about the room itself though. Fixtures and fittings dated, very poor lighting, shower door needs fixing. Overall,room needs some urgent tlc!

The property is at a great location and has some of the best beach and pool access in my opinion. The staff were really helpful and the location is in close walking distance to plenty of massages, cafes, bars, and restaurants and the night market. The bar at the property made wonderful drinks and had some great daily deals. We stayed in a plunge pool room that had a really hard bed, and the rooms seemed a worn, but it still was pretty nice.We asked for some extra pillows and they seemed to help. FYI, The cold pluge pool rooms have a separate hotel room above those rooms. You can hear people walking up and down the stairs and above you sometimes. It's worth mention if you don't have any noise cancelling sound at night or are a light sleeper. It's not terriblely loud, but still noticeable, but we were able to deal with it. Overall, it was a great stay and we would stay there again!

Check in was easy and quick. There are a lot of steps so not good if there is mobility issues. We run out of toiletries and had to ask for it as maid didn’t check. Only left 4 teabags but had to request more than once. Therefore they need to pay more attention to detail. Staff were amazing especially tring and the other pool staff. On checkout was allowed to use a room to shower as so hot

This property was on a beautiful beach with luxurious rooms and vip service. Our daughter has a severe peanut allergy and staff took extra care to make sure she had safe dining options. Would recommend to anyone looking for a laid back atmosphere walking distance to the action with impeccable service.

The front desk staff who checked us in and out are extremely rude. At check out when we were double checking if any privileges from our membership booking applied, he literally lied to on our face saying discount has been applied which it has not according to all the receipts that i go through on the spot. After that in told him he shall just be honest instead of making it up. He didn’t even apologise and was rushing us to pay! Without even a good bye or thank you which is extremely unusual in thailand as this country has been my second home for over 20 years. Stingy on room amenities too, need multiple requests on basic items like tooth brushes and tooth paste. Terrible gym facilities, lack of equipment and maintenance. Looks likes it’s from the 80s.

Our room was very clean, 2 complimentary bottles of water given every day of our stay and a change of towels too. The jacuzzi in the room did not work for the 3 first days; however, staff fixed it. The staff is very good in particularly Tik that checked up on us every day and was always very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing and the infinity pool with a view to the beach could not be any better. Night market and shops very close to the hotel. We had a great time.

We got a private villa and it was amazing in every way. The food and the staff were excellent! Only complaint: we were charged 500 THB for a lost key card. This seems ridiculous for a small piece of plastic, especially since this policy is not explained nor posted anywhere.

The staff were unbelievably kind. The customer service and pampering was just out of this world. I am so grateful for the extra mile everyone went through to make sure we had an unforgettable vacation. The food, views and everything were magical. The rooms are so nice and romantic. We had a pretty horrible stay at this hotel. Firstly, we had selected the option to ‘Pay at Property’ when booking thru the hotels.com app, however was charged the full amount about 60 days prior to our trip without any notice. Second, we were denied check in because the card I brought on our trip was not the same card they charged for the stay. Apparently that is their policy and there was a lot of argument and the need to speak with a manager to be allowed into our room after 40 minutes of debate. Thirdly, there were so many prohibitive rules throughout the property: can’t take your tea with you after breakfast, ice with your coffee at breakfast cost extra, only 1 beach towel per guest per day, etc. As a result, our stay was NOT relaxing. We just worried about what we rule or policy we might break! Won’t go again.

Island paradise. A little far from the busy island center but the smaller, food centric night market is right next door. Attention to detail in the facilities is incredible. Happy hour is a busy time to meet and mingle with fellow travelers, but once it’s over the resort is silent and peaceful at night. Somehow the resort managed to keep the jet skis out of direct line of sight on the beautiful beach so even as beach traffic increases, the serenity is maintained. The bar next door has a free fire show on the beach at night, just need to buy a drink to sit. I booked the private plunge pool suite. Worth the upgrade. Maintenance and house keeping snuck in to check and maintain the pool daily. I did not do breakfast every day at the resort but the day I did I was impressed. However make sure you check out the French bakery up the street for people watching and a ham and cheese croissant. Rooms have a fridge but no mini bar. 7-11 is a 4 minute walk to stock up on your own cheap snacks, drinks and sunscreen. This is a quite part of the island, family friendly, but still some crazy bars in walking distance without invading the privacy. Can’t say enough about this resort. Felt like home.

Great hotel. Close to the beach, lovely staff and right next to the night market. Also easy to get to other places around the island. Great stay overall and would stay again.

Great location on the beach. Night market next door, beach bars each way. Plunge pool not very big, or private, but was good to have. I would stay again.

Das ganze Hotel ist einfach TOP! Die Zimmer wunderschön und die Betten sehr bequem. Das Hotel liegt direkt beim Lamai Night Market und am Strand, besser kann es nicht werden. Das Personal ist ausgezeichnet und immer freundlich sowie hilfsbereit

Fantastic resort on Lamai beach Ko Samui. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Great restaurant with a huge selection of Thai and European food. I would highly recommend.

Close access to the beach was the only plus point. Breakfast quality was terrible, no one at the egg station. We didn’t go back after the first day. Butter was served in a bowl of iced water, floating. Room had hot water issues if the aircon was on strong, have to adjust to 27-28 degrees before hot water would flow. Cleaner did not lock our room door after servicing the room, we were shocked when we got back. No alternative for guests wanting a late check out (we were willing to pay) despite it was very obvious there were many vacant rooms. One morning I was woken by hammering and drilling (with no prior warning there would be work carried out). Water stains were not cleaned in the bathroom daily, more like it was uncleaned. Overall hotel is very aged and service standards not up to scratch

The hotel was nice. The staff are all very friendly. Breakfast buffet was good. NYE buffet and celebrations were great. Two bottles of water were replenished daily in the room Would have liked not to have been charged for a bucket of ice all the drinks we ordered for by the pool had a service charge…even if you picked them up from the bar, not sure that should happen but other than that it’s a good hotel with two nice pools and a mini gym.

Wonderful property. Hadn’t been to this area ever and really enjoyed the location. The staff and quality of food was also excellent! Beachfront as well as two pools were awesome.

Its my third time staying at the Pavilion and its great! A couple of ways it could be improved room wise (Grand Villa): 1) Better lighting in the room - its very dark. 2) Some sort of bead head - there isn't one which makes it impossible to sit up in bed say to read a book or watch a film. 3) Storage wise, there are no drawers, so other than the wardrobe there is no where to unpack your clothes into. Food wise, the breakfast included is the same every day which is a bit repetitive and boring. Vegetarian food options are also a bit limited.

Very highly recommend this resort and it deserves to be a 5 star. This was our second time at Pavilion Samui Resort and we loved it. We'll go back because of the amazing hospitality - the breakfast and Food/beverage service is amazing and the F&B manager and staff are excellent. It's a beautiful beach area with a great massage place nearby and there's shopping too. Lamai beach is not as seedy and there are a lot of young families at the resort and also young people and couples. It's good for those looking for a tranquil relaxed place.

The beginning was lame. Got into the room and the 2nd bedroom air condition was off. Then we realized it was broken and not just “off by mistake”. We couldn’t got a fix until 10pm and then the room was too hot until 1am. When spoke the the manager on the next day, the response was complete ignore of the issue and focus on the fact it was fixed. I’ve paid a lot of money and couldn’t get what I’ve paid for it. Other than that, the facitity, the food, the pool were great.

Arrived around 8pm at the Hotel. Check in was very quick and i got showed by the staff my room and also got introduced about everything in the Hotel. Staff in all functions where at all time very friendliy and also helpful! Room was one of the "older" Jacuzzy Balcony room. It was clean and also in good condition. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection and lots of staff to help with any special requests. I would defenitive stay again in the hotel.
