Great location just steps from the Duoro River! If you want to be where the action is for an affordable price this works great. If you are claustrophobic you might not appreciate the elevator but other then that it was perfeito! Btw that front desk staff were very helpful!!

The location was fabulous for accessing the liveliness and beauty of the Ribeira with the nearness of Palacio da Bolsa, Igreja de Sao Francisco, the bridge with an easy crossing to the wine cellars of Gaia. Depending on how youre feeling, a moderate walk up to other sights or if youre tired, take the funicular up and youll be at the Se (the Cathedral), Sao Bento, etc. Daily cleaning service, much appreciated. Window really are sound proof. Open to enjoy peek-a-boo view of the river, close at night for a quiet sleep. Remodeled so everythi g in good shape. Yes, the elevator is slow but it works and is great for luggage or when youre too tired to take the stairs. Owners are delightful, everyone helpful, communication before, during, and after was great. Excellent Wi-Fi. Will definitely book again for what I hope will be my ne t trip to Porto.

We loved the room and location in Porto. The bed was a bit hard for us and an extra towel set might have been nice for two days, I.e. three sets for two people. We loved the code for the doors so we were not walking around with keys to loose :)

The property provides the experience of living in the historical building blended with all modern necessities, compact yet very functional, from the elevator to the kitchenette and bathroom. The stuff is amazingly friendly and helpful, both Jose and Catarina were able to help and guide us making sure our questions are answered and our needs are addressed. Beautiful studio apartment that is well kept and clean! We arrived later than anticipated, but got a message in WhatsApp to be able to get a code in the building after hours and get into our room. The apartment is right near the water with walking distance to many restaurants along the water and near many shops, the river flea market and near many grocery shops.

Everything was fine. We booked the hotel because of the location and that it had an elevator. The elevator was very small and slow, but it fit 2 of us with our luggage. We were on the top floor. The elevator did not go to that floor. We had to walk the last flight. These things did not bother us at all. If you cannot walk, make sure to get a room on a lower floor. It was a little noisy at night since we were in the front, but again this did not bother us. This is what you get for being in a great location. I would stay here again.

This hotel was great for us. Location was awesome!! Staff super friendly and always helpful. Our room though cozy never felt small because of the great use of space. Kitchenette was fairly well- stocked also. Loved it! Would stay again.

A beautifully renovated historic building in the Ribeira district. Perfect location to be in the heart of this lively and fun area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The mattress was firm and the sheets were so soft. There was a little kitchenette as well. Bathroom was small but functional. And Jose was the best host! Super friendly and gave us a lot of tips.

Nice property and quick communication. Only complaint is that it had 2 twin beds moved next to each other to make it a double. Not ideal for a couple as the beds kept moving.

The room and the location was fabulous! The room was spacious, simple and clean. We were in walking distance to restaurants, bars, port and wine shops and shopping. We were a couple minutes from the bridge between Porto and vila nova de Gaia which we loved walking back n forth. We had endless places to explore. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a lovely room!

Our visit was particularly memorable because Jose and Katrina lat the front desk, who helped us plan activities before and during our trip as well as assisting us with troubleshooting credit card issues created by the BOLT driving service. We always felt well supported before and during our visit. One area of improvement would be some TV access to English TV stations such as the BBC , CNN, and CNBC.

VC Heritage Ribeira Porto was a fantastic find. Perfect location in Ribiera - steps away from the restaurant scene, Luis II bridge to walk to Gaia. They let us store luggage from 7am, which was a huge help. Rodrigo was super responsive via chat, and José and Catarina at the front desk were warm, polite, and gave great recommendations—not just for Porto but for all of Portugal. Highly recommend!

Staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in such an amazing location, but was still quiet at night. I would definitley suggest staying here if you are visiting Porto!

The location was fabulous for accessing the liveliness and beauty of the Ribeira with the nearness of Palacio da Bolsa, Igreja de Sao Francisco, the bridge with an easy crossing to the wine cellars of Gaia. Depending on how youre feeling, a moderate walk up to other sights or if youre tired, take the funicular up and youll be at the Se (the Cathedral), Sao Bento, etc. Daily cleaning service, much appreciated. Window really are sound proof. Open to enjoy peek-a-boo view of the river, close at night for a quiet sleep. Remodeled so everythi g in good shape. Yes, the elevator is slow but it works and is great for luggage or when youre too tired to take the stairs. Owners are delightful, everyone helpful, communication before, during, and after was great. Excellent Wi-Fi. Will definitely book again for what I hope will be my ne t trip to Porto.

This was a wonderful stay. Even though the staff have limited reception hours they stay available throgh online communication. The room was clean and nice. It was central to all the places I wanted to visit. I felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this stay to others.

What a great place to stay to experience the best of Porto! Located by the riverside, it's a few minutes' walk from almost everything to see and do there and is surrounded by tons of restaurants. The studio we stayed in was cool, clean and very comfortable. Everything was new! But the best part were our warm and accommodating hosts, Josè and Catarina, who went over and above to be of service in every way. In leaving Porto we feel we left as friends. We will be back, adeus por enquanto!

This hotel was in a very busy and sometimes noisy area. We spoke to Jose about the noise and he explained the effort to replace windows in a historic building was challenging. He was super friendly and helpful. If you like to be in the center of action and enjoy night life this is perfect for you.

Beautiful studio apartment that is well kept and clean! We arrived later than anticipated, but got a message in WhatsApp to be able to get a code in the building after hours and get into our room. The apartment is right near the water with walking distance to many restaurants along the water and near many shops, the river flea market and near many grocery shops.

The room and the location was fabulous! The room was spacious, simple and clean. We were in walking distance to restaurants, bars, port and wine shops and shopping. We were a couple minutes from the bridge between Porto and vila nova de Gaia which we loved walking back n forth. We had endless places to explore. We would stay again in a heartbeat. This hotel is the perfect location near the riverfront in Porto. Very clean and hospitable staff to help you get settled when you arrive in Portugal. While there are hills all over Porto, that is expected, so make sure to bring good walking shoes. Lovely time at this hotel!

I booked through hotels.com and was unaware the sold the booking to Expedia. They didnt share my email and phone with them preventing hotel from efficiently communicating with me. That impacted our check-in process as we were sitting by the closed door for about 10 minutes. Other than this the stay was uneventful and the manager was very resourceful and forward looking. We really recommend the place!

Excellent location especially as it was a short stay in Porto. Easy to walk to the bridge over to Experience both sides of the Douro. Very lively during the day, but was still able to sleep as the windows were double pane windows.
