Très bon hôtel, bien entretenu. Les pieds dans l'eau. Restauration ok. Très bonnes activités proposées !

Nous avons apprécié cet endroit paradisiaque avec cette ambiance familiale. Les patrons sont adorables et à l'écoute. Le personnel est au petit soin et discret avec un service et une bonne cuisine qui ravira les papilles de tous par la diversité de la carte, le top du top c'est le petit déjeuner... Il est incroyable avec ses jus frais différents tous les matins, l'assiette de fruits exotiques. Et tout cela au pied de la plage... Je vous recommandé cet établissement.

Our stay at the AVO Boutique Hotel in Uroa, Zanzibar, was a truly wonderful experience. We traveled as a family of three and stayed in the spacious Studio 6. The hotel is small but charming, with a warm and personal atmosphere. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the entire staff. The hotel is ideally located on the east coast of Zanzibar, in the quiet former fishing village of Uroa. It’s a peaceful spot, not yet touched by mass tourism, offering the perfect balance between relaxation in a cozy and authentic setting, and entertainment from the larger resorts nearby. The on-site restaurant served excellent meals, and the service was always friendly and attentive. Breakfast was freshly prepared and offered a wide variety of choices each day. We especially enjoyed spending our evenings on the elevated terrace under the traditional palm-thatched roof — a lovely way to unwind. The area around the hotel is pleasant and calm — we appreciated that we could go for a walk without constantly being approached. Many facilities are within walking distance, and our car was securely parked on the hotel grounds 24/7 at no extra cost. Housekeeping was spotless, the grounds were carefully maintained every day, and even during the rainy season, the pool was clean and well cared for. All in all, we had a very relaxing stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

Best ratio quality / price of the hotels where I’ve been. Staff kind and super efficient, hotel really charming located in front of a calm and stunning beach. Perfect for a relaxing trip.
