DoubleTree by Hilton Southampton

Aunque está a 15 minutos en auto desde el centro está muy cerca del aeropuerto y de la estación de tren (7 minutos en auto). La atencion del personal del Hotel es aceptable pero sobresale la atención, el sentido de urgencia y la empatía de Celia. Los cuartos son amplios y está rodeado de naturaleza. Así que si quieres disfrutar de un entorno tranquilo este puede llegar a ser tu lugar. Pasa un autobús a cuatro minutos caminando que te lleva al centro de Southampton (€ 7all day ticket) y también a Winchester (€ 9 retourn)

Después de 3 horas de espera para cenar, nunca nos trajeron ni las bebidas. Un caos general. Huéspedes quejándose y pidiendo Uber para poder comer algo! Totalmente sin preparación o protocolos para atender a sus huéspedes. Terrible servicio! Ya no pienso en regresar (esta fue mi segunda y última vez)

Muy bueno hotel y también muy buen desayuno , pero la comida del restaurante es muy mala! Fue el único que no me Gustó.

Accommodation was ok and staff were friendly, clean rooms couldn’t ask for much more. The restaurant let the hotel down. Firstly when my husband asked about booking a table the first waiter wasn’t friendly. We ordered a mocktail which never came we had to query it before they realised it’s because they ran out of mint. The food was ok but expensive, not many vegetarian options. They advertised sticky toffee pudding which was actually syrup pudding with a pot of toffee sauce. I was gutted was so looking forward to it ask don’t eat puddings often. when I queried it the waiter they thought I was weird, I suggest you google sticky toffee pudding recipe! Great that children under 5 eat free but no vegetarian option on the menu, we had to ask, when it came out it was missing veg which was advertised. Breakfast was ok, although the cooked breakfast buffet had no vegetarian options and they used caged eggs! Shameful i hope they find it in their conscious to move to free range. Would stay in the accommodation again but would find somewhere else to eat!

Clean room and friendly staff. Classic good hotel.
