Really large hotel in downtown Tokyo, easily walkable from Tokyo station or the Imperial Palace. Close to multiple restaurants and shopping in Ginza (walkable). I booked 2 rooms, one night, had a fantastic French made-to-order breakfast the next morning. They have an indoor, heated swimming pool. Workout center. Multiple (!!!) restaurants and if you book the room with breakfast, they let you pick which restaurant you want to eat in. All the amenities are included in the bathroom (toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoos, cotton Q-tips, etc.). Room has a mini bar with alcohol. Large bathroom.

The service and staff were top notch, and what I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The space felt very regal and fitting of the hotel name. Location was great, close to several subway lines and across the street from the beautiful Hibiya Park. I stayed in the Tower, on a high floor, and the view was lovely, though I was facing the train line so you could hear the train running during the day (not a huge issue since I wasn't in my room much during the day). Bathroom was stocked with lots of toiletries. I do wish there was an iron and ironing board provided in the room (I called down and had one promptly delivered, but I feel like this should just be a standard in every room). The hotel gym was also really nice. There were plenty of cardio machines, a free weight station and an area for yoga/stretching. I used the hotel laundry service, too, which was pricey but I didn't want to sacrifice time having to find a laundromat / do it on my own.

Amazing hotel! I have not been for more than 15 years. The hotel is as amazing as I remembered. This was my 12 year old son’s first time staying and he was blown away by how nice the hotel and the service were! The pool is a little outdated but kids under 18 are allowed unlike a lot of hotels in Tokyo! Don’t hesitate to book and you won’t regret

Nice view over the city from the room, but the window placement caused a lack of privacy, it was possible to see into several other rooms. Service minded staff, good breakfast. Nice bath facilities, although the swimming pool is a bit shallow. Beautiful lobby. The hotel bar Old Imperial was cosy and luxurious but expensive. The drinks were delicious.

上京時に良く利用するホテルです。改装前にとタワー棟を予約しました。今回初めて匂いが気になりました。何と表示したらよいのかわからないのですが　清掃が行き届いて無い匂いがしました。前客の残り香なのかな？とにかく汗臭くて空気清浄機を全開にしました。フロント対応やレストランでもキャパオーバー感が否めずゆっくりホテルライフという感じになれず残念でした。レストランの予約に関しても前日電話で確認したのにも関わらず係に伝わっておらずこちらにも残念さを感じました。伝統あるホテルですのでこれからも利用したいと思っています。以前の帝国ホテルを知っているだけに非常に寂しく感じました。

スタッフの方の対応はとても良かったです。施設が古いのは、老舗ならではかと思いますが、タワー棟の方は、とにかくフロントから遠いです。ご高齢の方にはお勧めしません。フロントから離れているがために、とても静かだとも言えます。また、お部屋に向かうまでに、非日常にスイッチできるとも言えます。バスルームのミラーが一部汚れていたのと、バスタブが汚れていたのがちょっと残念でした。ホテルステイならではのアメニティも楽しみの一つなのですが、改善の余地有りかなと思いました。次回は、本館にステイしたいです。

We stayed on the 31st floor of the tower with an amazing night-light view. The beds & pillows were very comfy and the shower was excellent. There are several restaurants. We had breakfast included. The Viking Sal had an enormous selection of food. On Sunday we made the mistake of getting up late and the line was too long to get in so we chose another breakfast option at the hotel and the menu selection for 'bkfst included' was VERY limited. It's a nice hotel. Not cheap but, worth the stay.

Location can't be beat, extremely convenient. However, hotel decor is very outdated, right out of 1980's Moscow and definitely not up to what they are charging. Even numbered rooms in the tower face the tracks for the high speed rail and can be heard constantly because the windows are too thin. I would not stay here again, not a in line with the cost.

Datées. Things run down. Had to change room since shower not working. Took forever for someone to come and someone to give us new keys - stayed in Towers. Elevator Eve slower in Towers compared to main- felt like stayed in 2 different hotels. No usb outlet and new room over train tracks so hear trains going

The hotel offers a range of properties. The standard rooms in the towers are, in my opinion, well below five-star quality: they’re small, and the bathroom isn’t separated from the shower. The junior suite in the main building is excellent! It’s true that the hotel’s décor is outdated, but not a deal breaker

Very friendly and professional staff. Our room was very noisy. All night I was hearing the noice from the train tracks on the bridge near the hotel. We are coming back to stay there for two nights. I asked the front desk to change our room to another side so we won’t hear the noice.

We loved our stay here. We were impressed especially with the staff who went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. The hotel is quite grand with multiple excellent restaurants. Well located with access to multiple subway lines. Will plan to stay again during our next trip to Tokyo

I told them I was sensitive to noise so they gave me a room next to the train tracks. We asked them to help us heat up food… no help. Bowing and white gloves aside, from a customer service perspective they’re not great. I doubt they understand this though. In any case, I wouldn’t stay here again, especially considering how old and shabby the rooms actually are…

從入住到退房都感受到尊榮又細緻的服務， 📍飯店設施：房間很舒適乾淨，雖然是老派風格，從很多小地方看出飯店用心置入了高科技現代化的設備，房間很大，攤開2個29吋行李綽綽有餘，完全不妨礙走動路線。衛浴的簾子是最容易有霉味的設備，這裡完全沒有！足以讓要求整潔的我印象深刻。 📍交通：日比谷站過馬路2分鐘，銀座站步行約10分鐘也可以抵達，非常方便。回程選擇搭Limousine bus(利木津巴士），酒店門口就有一站，飯店人員會協助確認名單，讓我們安心的坐在大廳等候，車子到達時再通知我們並協助拿行李上巴士。從一而終的五星級服務👍 📍鄰近沒有便利商店及超市是小小美中不足之處，要從銀座站採買

I stayed tower building. There was a noise issue in the middle of the night 1:00 am -3:30am. Finally I called front desk, 1 later noise was stopped. At least the hotel need to do more faster and show some more apologies.

The level of service and the politeness of the staff at all levels are beyond excellent. The Imperial Hotel demonstrates Japanese hospitality at its best. The property's location is ideal for travellers seeking proximity to Ginza but not be in its busy centre. Ginza high street is about a 10-minute walk and you will discover many interesting places to eat along the way. Hibiya Park lies in front of the hotel and is the perfect place for a run. Runners can do the Imperial Palace circuit, less than a kilometre away.

Högklassigt hotell med utmärkt bra service. Centralt läge nära shopping, restauranger och flera metro-linjer. Rummet var välutrustat och bekvämt. Det enda som drar ner intrycket något var en långa väntetiden till frukostserveringen. Det fanns visserligen flera alternativa utbud, men dessa var inte prisvärda.

One of the best hotel experience I've had. Accommodating and friendly. Nothing not-so-good to say except for the buffet breakfast. I feel it was too expensive for the limited choices available that time. The staff did not even bother to ask if we'd like coffee for starters. That being said, however, the quality of the food (fresh vegetables, etc) were very good. But still, a bit too pricey.
