Nice property but description of "Parking available" is misleading. On-street parking was difficult to come by and hotel did not seem to be able to recommend a parking lot.

It was nice to have a free “mini-bar” in the room and the buffet breakfast was good with attentive staff who made sure timely replenishments were made. The only downside to our stay was when we phoned the hotel in November to ask if we could reserve a parking space we were informed that it was on a first come, first serve basis. On arrival at 2pm in the afternoon we were then told that there were no spaces in the hotel car park because they had all been reserved in advance.

Everything was excellent - staff were polite, helpful and welcoming; the room is of good reasonable size, clean and the bed is comfortable. The only one thing that I’d like to highlight is that the airport shuttle service comes with a charge and hotel staff did not mention about it when I make the booking or how much that would cost me till the driver ask me to pay when I reach the airport.

I had a room overlooking the street on a Saturday night, and people were yelling and partying until 3:30AM. It was impossible to sleep. The hotel should not have rented this room. Note that there is no air conditioning, and the room was about 90 degrees and it was necessary to keep the windows open. The room came with a nice new fan.

Nice property with some extras… like free bottled water, fruit and ice cream in the lobby, and some free drinks in the mini bar. Good breakfasts included. Super friendly and helpful staff. 24 front desk service, someone always around and available. Great location in old town and close to trains and trams.

Very smooth and quick check in and check out. Hotel is clean, lots of complimentary drinks and snacks. Very close to the central train station and old town area. Had a great stay overall, highly recommend!

The hotel was an easy walk from the main train station, though there is an uphill/cobblestone section to get to the hotel. All the staff at the hotel were very nice. They had free water in the lobby along with free ice cream, all different flavors. It was fun to pick a new flavor after getting back each night. The mini bar in the room was also free and you could sign up to get free bottles of wine if you didn’t have your room cleaned that day. There is free breakfast which was good and saved money from eating out. The room can get a little stuffy but opening the windows solved that. It wasn’t too hot out but there is a fan in the room. We were on the 1st floor (2nd for us Americans) and it wasn’t loud. The windows blocked a lot of noise. There is also an elevator though it won’t fit more than two people and two medium sized bags. If I come back to Zurich I am definitely going to stay at this hotel. The location is great, near different tram stops and the main train station, the staff friendly, and the rooms nice.

This hotel was poor and I would not recommend a stay here. The location is very central however it is therefore also very noisy. There are people and vehicle noises from outside that will wake you up early in the morning like around 5am. Plus they only have a portable air con with massive tube that you have to put outside the window. This is also very noisy like a washing machine going on all night. Spent two nights here and slept terribly.

La habitación es muuuy pequeña, el aire lavado no enfría por qué es de esos portátiles que dejan la ventana abierta para que por ahí salga el tubo de desagüe del aire, si vas con más de dos maletas pequeñas no caben en ninguna parte, el personal de la recepción amable sin embargo la encargada del restaurante cero capacitada en amabilidad al cliente, no vale para nada la pena pagar el desayuno. El elevador caben dos personas y súper viejo. Las alfombras empolvadas. Como no hay aire acondicionado en la recepción te ofrecen paletas y aguas gratis. Precio calidad no corresponde para nada. No hay teléfono en la habitación y tampoco algún medio para comunicarte con la recepción.

Overall it was a great hotel in a very walkable location with lots of restaurants, stores, train station and busses nearby. There were many free things in the lobby (ice cream, candy, coffee, water) and the stocked mini fridge in the room was also full of free items (waters, sodas, beer). It was a very modern and nice looking room. The bathroom mirror was too high for shorter people.

Hotel is clean but in need of renovations. Room had squeaky floor, no air conditioning and warm minibar. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast delicious. Even though the temperature outside was just 25 degrees Celsius, the room was too hot to be comfortable. It’s also too noisy outside for keeping the window open at night.

The room was clean. Staff were friendly and I really liked the free mini bar in the room and free water bottles in the lobby. However, the room was super hot. They put a small fan but wasn’t helping a lot. If they had an air conditioner it would be great! Keep this in mind if you are traveling in Summer.

Great hotel in convenient location. My room was small but had everything I needed including a balcony and mini fridge (contents included on the stay). Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Loved that they offered fruits and coffee all day at reception. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed one night at Best Western Plus Hotel Zürcherhof and were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and thoughtful touches throughout. The Best Western Hotel Zürcherhof was recommended to me because of its location in the old town-- I had a chance to walk around and get a sense of this part of the city. The front desk staff, specially Sara and Panagotis were very gracious and welcoming. After having arrived from an overnight flight from New York, I needed a calming experience and I asked about a good massage place. They recommended a Thai massage place nearby that gets very high marks and I went for a great, relaxing experience. The hotel has many amenities that make a brief stay comforting and worthwhile. I will recommend and return on a future visit.

Excelente ubicación !! El personal es super amable, nos tocó rotación de 3 personas en recepción y los tres fueron muy atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Te reciben con una sonrisa todos los días y están en muy buena disposición de ayudarte en lo que necesites. Súper recomendado!!!!
Excelente ubicación !! El personal es super amable, nos tocó rotación de 3 personas en recepción y los tres fueron muy atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Te reciben con una sonrisa todos los días y están en muy buena disposición de ayudarte en lo que necesites. Súper recomendado!!!!

Overall the stay was great but I give a 3-star due to the repairman came knocking my door and while he couldn’t hear me asking who is it, he proceeded to open the door with a master key card thinking the guests were not in the room. I was so shock that I pushed the door back and he backed off. Then I opened the door with him saying he was trying to look for a small item while showing me the picture in his handphone. I told him it’s wrong for anyone to enter the room without the guest presence except for cleaning service which I have already stated no cleaning service required a day before. He insisted that I didn’t put on the DND sign and wasn’t apologetic at all. I went to the receptionist immediately to provide my feedback and she apologized profusely while the repairman was there & again defended his act. Does the hotel allow staff that has the master key to enter guest room anytime just to look for their missing item? What if my belongings are missing? It was a shocking episode & please relook into the protocol with the repairman. I have already stayed a night there prior the repairman came and even if the staff wants to look for a missing item, this has to be done with the presence of the guest and NOT entering the guest room without permission. Thank you and I really love staying at this hotel, it has little gesture like the welcome kambly cookies, clean & comfortable room, & the wine reward for room not requiring c/service which is a great move for sustainability

The receptionists are friendly and helpful . Around the area of hotel is so noisy bc of a lot of bar and restaurant the people are chatting till to midnight 2 pm! And the church bell is ringing every 45 minutes even at the night

It was noisy with windows open at night - found out on on Gooogle that city allowed prostitution being allowed on street intersection where hotel was from 10-2 . Didn’t bother me much except for the noise.

I had a room overlooking the street on a Saturday night, and people were yelling and partying until 3:30AM. It was impossible to sleep. The hotel should not have rented this room. Note that there is no air conditioning, and the room was about 90 degrees and it was necessary to keep the windows open. The room came with a nice new fan.

Great hotel. Room was small but perfect for one person. Breakfast was good. All the staff were amazing. Perfectly located for trips as next to the central tram station and a short walk to the main station. Only negative is the area attracts what you would expect at night fun an place so central.

This hotel is perfectly located close to the main train station and many restaurants in Old Town. The staff is fantastic. Great breakfast. Bed is very comfortable. Loved everything about it.

Nice hotel close to the train station. Breakfast was excellent with made to order egg dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free items in the mini bar a bonus (including free beer and wine!) Only negative was our room faced a busy street and it was very noisy.

It was not worth the money that I spend for three nights. Breakfast was awful I ordered an Omlate for breakfast was completely burnt. There was so limited food choice. The neighbourhood was very noisy on Friday night. It was hard to fall sleep.

Stayed here overnight before our flight from Zurich Airport. Very close to the Hauptbahnhof, so ideal on that front. Otherwise this hotel was excellent. The people who work here are brilliant. So helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was superb. Lots of choice and the cooked to order eggs were delicious. Ruhrei with herbs is a particular favourite of mine. My wife's soft boiled egg was cooked to perfection too.

Unfortunately the website did not mention the restaurant was closed. We picked the hotel based on having a restaurant onsite. Good news is the front desk attendants were excellent and the cleaning staff were super. Good location.

A really great hotel. It is a small hotel, but with everything you need for a perfect stay at Zürich. The amability of the staff, the rooms were very good (the bed was truly comfortable), the cleanliness was good, the location is a GREAT plus since it is in the center of the city (3 mins from the Train Station), and my favorite part…breakfast. An AMAZING breakfast!!! They also had a variety of pastries on the lobby for you to enjoy for free. I would come back to this hotel.

The breakfast was very good allowing you to order eggs, bacon, sausages etc. instead of just eating off the buffet. The items in the mini bar were free. Less than a ten minute walk from the train station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The Best Western Hotel Zürcherhof was recommended to me because of its location in the old town-- I had a chance to walk around and get a sense of this part of the city. The front desk staff, specially Sara and Panagotis were very gracious and welcoming. After having arrived from an overnight flight from New York, I needed a calming experience and I asked about a good massage place. They recommended a Thai massage place nearby that gets very high marks and I went for a great, relaxing experience. The hotel has many amenities that make a brief stay comforting and worthwhile. I will recommend and return on a future visit.

Loud street outside and not in a good part of town. Red light district just around the corner. No fans or air so windows open at night with bar lifestyle outside not good for sleeping. Breakfast was very good and welcome wine bottle was nice. Don’t think we would stay there again.

Nice property but description of "Parking available" is misleading. On-street parking was difficult to come by and hotel did not seem to be able to recommend a parking lot.
