GrandStay Hotel & Suites Johnston-Des Moines, IA

It was a nice hotel. Unfortunately though we got there and when checking in they said that there was someone already in our room. Which didn't make a lot of sense to me. We were supposed to get a suite with a bedroom. The lady at the desk though was very nice to me about it. But still disappointed. Ended up in a room with two queen beds since there was nothing I could do about it. The hot tub was nice and warm. Breakfast we didn't have because it was just too busy so the food was gone which is no faut of the workers. We would stay again but hopefully we would at least get the room we paid for.

Very nice property. Bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice clean hotel. Very friendly staff. We love the location. Have stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so.

Breakfast not great, just average but all else was great

Breakfast was a variation of eggs & sausage or bacon with your typical other continental offerings (cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt). Hotel was near a business park so it was quiet and safe with little traffic nearby. Food & entertainment options nearby. Hotel was on good shape and beds were comfortable.
