I would never recommend this property to anyone going to Oregon. We had the WORST experience ever and won’t ever go back. The hotel was under renovation. Construction started at 7am and lasted till 8pm. There was blood on our bath towel, their breakfast was nothing like pictured. No swimming pool like it said on the website, they filled the pool already with cement. No cable the entire weekend but upon checking in we were told the issue was almost fixed. Overall a terrible place.

Even though the hotel is well maintained and 24/7 armed security. The hotel has found itself in a part of Portland where society is breaking down. It is no fault of the hotel BUT it does change the experience when the parking lot amd surrounding area is full of homeless people. They keep to themselves but can be an uneasy feeling walking to your car at night

Hotel just changed ownership and there are many things wrong. Lots of issues with their parking lot with trash, homeless encampments and folks wandering looking for unlocked or vehicles with exposed valuables in broad daylight. Had to pay for the room again as Expedia does not support the new hotel owner. Many amenities not available or not working like air conditioning in the gym, ice makers all out of order, no bowls for breakfast or milk or juice. Room window was cracked.

The hotel itself and staff were great, but the surrounding area has a lot of drug users/homeless roaming the area. I didn’t see any in the parking lot for the hotel itself, but they were close by in the adjacent parking lots (especially the Burger King.) They didn’t bother us, but something you should be aware of if staying there. The parking lot is well lit and there’s a private security car that frequently patrols the area.

Room was recently renovated, all new and clean but I had to ask for the hair dryer and coffee maker. The renovation workers were still on-site for some public areas, the hallway carpet was still dirty and might be planned to be replaced. Breakfast was very basic, the receptionist was not always on position. The GYM had no air-conditioner! equipment was not very well configured. Many homeless were just 50 meters away, so the location is not good.

Absolutely love staying here! It’s the only place we stay when we travel to Portland. The staff is super friendly and they have security in the parking lot which definitely puts us at ease. The check in process is always smooth.

Beds were as hard as a rock, hallways and room smelled of marijuana, there was nothing for breakfast except oatmeal despite having a full counter and room for breakfast. We saw a dog urinate in the elevator, the next day the urine was still there. On the elevator floor it looked like there might be blood as well. Overall the cleaning of the room was great but the rest of the hotel no.

Don’t recommend, the area was industrial, was given a room with a broken toilet. The hallway smelled like tobacco, weed, and dog pee. Highly recommend find somewhere else to stay. After bringing up that the toilet wasn’t flushing properly the front desk person said oh yeah it’s been like that for a week.

The room has breadcrumbs on the window sill and the ants are all over there. They nest in the air conditioning and they come out and in all the time. So disgusting! The environment around the hotel is also not very good. But that the price you paid for. Will not come back.

Sounds like there was a bull in a china shop above us from 7pm-3am asked front desk at 10pm if they could ask to have them quiet down and nothing changed. Beds were very very hard. Bathroom was not cleaned. It is not a safe to park your car as lots of homeless are in the parking lot and close by.

It was pretty clean and spacious. I really like that there is a fridge and spacious bathroom. However the bed is uncomfortably hard. My spouse and I woke up with terrible back pain every day and we’re only in our early 30s so this is pretty unusual. Overall though the parking lot was well lit, the black out curtains did an amazing job at keeping the light out and it was very quiet.

Upon arriving/checking in at about 6:45pm, I waited for a good 10 minutes for the front desk person to show up. There were 2 people waiting in line already, one of them said the front desk person was gone for half hour. I was put on the second floor in a room near the elevator facing the lobby. At night I could hear people talking loudly in the lobby. On the other side of the room, I could hear people talking loudly downstairs from the window side. The fire alarm beeping happened to start that night and kept going on for the ENTIRE night because it was STILL beeping in the morning by the time I checked out. Fortunately I had a pair of ear plugs that I could use. I did sleep OK.

Wife and I stayed here for a 3 day trip in September of 2025. I would point out that I chose this place because it had arguable the best price of places in the area and Google images showed it looked fine from the outside Buuuuut unfortunately the outside of the hotel is plagued with the homeless at night and mist everyone we saw there looked shady and unfriendly. However, this isn't the fault of the hotel so I don't hold it against them Out room had a few quirks but generally was clean. We noticed little areas where paint had been smearing in areas outside the was, such as in the trim, but you would only notice them if you were looking for them. Only major issue I can hand to them is the fact our bed was rich hard. We slept on it for one night and then reached out to the staff to ask if we could upgrade or if they could make it right. They immediately got us a new room with a bed that had far more cushion and was even cleaner then the first. So, very big props to them for putting in the effort and helping us so soon. Staff was very good. Desk ladies had good adittudes when we made requests, had towels at the ready when we asked and again made right on our bed issue. Only other issue I can think of was the water pressure in the bathroom was wonky. Shower was weak in pressure but the sink was very powerful. Not a huge issue though. Hot water cane when you asked for it so that's great in my book. For anyone who is wondering, we did get free wifi it worked well

My son and husband stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. My son is autistic (17 yr old). After the first day my son was in the lobby while my husband unpacked the car.The person at the main desk asked if he was staying there. My son said yes, the desk clerk said she did not believe that he was staying there. He showed her the key card and again she did not trust him and called security on him. This shows lack of training for staff. It is horrific that the desk person was unable to ask a simple follow up like "who are you staying with". He would have said his dad, who was right outside. They could have also looked up my husband's name. I called and spoke with a manager who was kind and did apologize to my son and husband. The manager said the general manager would call us. This did not happen. She said that they would use this experience to create better training, but if the follow through with the GM didn't happen then I have my doubts. My son and husband stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. My son is autistic (17 yr old). After the first day my son was in the lobby while my husband unpacked the car.The person at the main desk asked if he was staying there. My son said yes, the desk clerk said she did not believe that he was staying there. He showed her the key card and again she did not trust him and called security on him. This shows lack of training for staff. It is horrific that the desk person was unable to ask a simple follow up like "who are you staying with". He would have said his dad, who was right outside. They could have also looked up my husband's name. I called and spoke with a manager who was kind and did apologize to my son and husband. The manager said the general manager would call us. This did not happen. She said that they would use this experience to create better training, but if the follow through with the GM didn't happen then I have my doubts. Came in after check in, yet was told to wait while they did essentially a hand off for shift chamge, then the oncoming desk clerk yells to her manager that she wants to talk to her about something and left the desk while we waited. Then they didn't have rooms ready, so we had to wait for that. Was all incredibly unorganized and informal.

I arrived at 3:05, check in is 3pm. I get there and staff is helping someone for over 10/15 minutes as the line gets longer. Then I finally get to the counter to check in around 3:25ish or so and the woman is rude. Tells me there is no room ready for me cuz I have a pet with me. Apparently booking thru 3rd party is cumbersome. The 2 staff members stood there talking to each other for almost 10lbs before even starting the process to check in me. The woman talked bad about other guests and stated people were gonna complain about rooms not being ready. I called her out for talking like that in front of guests and was immediately spoken down too. Then the young man at the counter proceeded to show my room number (using my key card jacket as the example)to the crowd of men behind at me as he explained the check in process. I am a single female traveling alone and this was extremely unsafe thing to do. Also the bathroom light was broken. And the door to the room didn’t fully shut. For a quick over nigjt stay it was fine. But never again.

Upon arriving/checking in at about 6:45pm, I waited for a good 10 minutes for the front desk person to show up. There were 2 people waiting in line already, one of them said the front desk person was gone for half hour. I was put on the second floor in a room near the elevator facing the lobby. At night I could hear people talking loudly in the lobby. On the other side of the room, I could hear people talking loudly downstairs from the window side. The fire alarm beeping happened to start that night and kept going on for the ENTIRE night because it was STILL beeping in the morning by the time I checked out. Fortunately I had a pair of ear plugs that I could use. I did sleep OK.

Power outage happened during my stay. No staff on premesis. All hallways dark without illuminated Exit signs and stairwells were pitch black. Used cell phone flashlight to get downstairs and exit building. No one at front desk. Front door open and ajar and anyone could enter building undetected. Security guards were out at far end of parking lot chit-chatting and not working. A lot of vagrant and homelessness in the area. Unsafe situation for several reasons. I would have hoped that property management would bring in battery powered lighting for hallways and stairwells to help guests exit. It was a ghost town and apocalyptic. Property management needs to reconsider safety protocols. I won't stay here again.

The check-in was nice and smooth. This location is much better than the one in Beaverton. The room is clean, everything looks brand new, very spacious, no bugs, and no clogged shower drain. I had trouble with my key card and Christine at the front desk helped resolve the issue. Thank you!!

Hotel and staff are great! The area around the hotel is marginal but nothing negative happened and I’ve stayed in this area for the last four years and nothing has ever happened. There is a new food truck park adjacent to the hotel and had a great lunch and dinner one of the days I was there. Dinning otherwise in not walkable but there is good dinning within 15 minute drive.

If you are going to PIR (Portland International Raceway) you should stay here. 12 minute walk and no hour wait to get in and out of the parking lot. I was showered and napping by the time the others I went with got to I-5.

I stayed here during a business trip in April 2025. I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the lobby/cafeteria and the modern amenities in the guest room. Everything looked new and was kept clean. I had a room on the first floor and my only (minor) complaint is that outside my window, there were loud people in the parking lot even into the early morning hours. Later, I saw that police had arrived. It wasn't a big deal but this is an "extended-stay" hotel, after all. You never know who is going to be here. Overall, I'd say that this is a nice place to stay. The staff is cool and the place is clean. No strange smells or sticky floors. No gang members hanging around. The continental breakfast is as minimalistic as it gets but at least they sell Rockstar energy drinks in the vending machine.

Even though the hotel is well maintained and 24/7 armed security. The hotel has found itself in a part of Portland where society is breaking down. It is no fault of the hotel BUT it does change the experience when the parking lot amd surrounding area is full of homeless people. They keep to themselves but can be an uneasy feeling walking to your car at night

The room was great. It was big and clean and one of the two beds was very firm which I like and it’s sometimes hard to find in a hotel. The only issue was the homeless people milling around the area. We felt safe inside the building but we didn’t feel safe going out, especially at night.

Good spot for a few night stay. Better than average Extended Stay Property in a quiet industrial-ish area about 12-15 minute drive from the airport and few minutes walk from light rail. Good food truck park right at the front of the property.

Dodgy area but convenient to the Expo Center, and security is strong around the hotel area with roving armed guards so no homeless issues in the hotel lot. Surprising nice hotel for the price, staff was super, and nice amenities.

The “Breakfast” was a joke! Hard boiled eggs, Oatmeal, a couple bars, coffee… No juices, nor even water. No cereal, no milk… no fruit, just mostly bare counters… Also no ice machine!

Our room was a decent size. Two queen beds and it had a little kitchenette in it. Room was clean. Beds are just ok. We seen at least 25/30 homeless walking around outside. There was security present but make sure to lock vehicles. There’s a cute little food trailer park nearby. The breakfast was not good. Only had muffins, nutrition grain bars and oatmeal. ZERO drinks other than coffee. No juice, milk etc for kids. If you’re considering this because it claims they serve breakfast I’d look elsewhere.

No room cleaning or towel replacement for the stay, for me it was 3 days. You need to take all used towels to front desk and get replacement. Horrible breakfast. They are giving frozen egg / protein bars and coffee. It’s a bit waste.

Room was very nice. Overall hotel was clean. As for amenities, the pool had trash plastic leaves - nobody would go in. When brought up to staff, they said someone would look at it - never did. Next day was nice, but I had to leave. Otherwise not a bad stay

This place canceled my reservation before I even got there. Told me when I got there, then proceeded to charge me extra. He sent me over to their manager, which never refunded me. I had even told the supervisor about everything that happened with her employee Christine while being on FaceTime outside of the building talking about how we were such a troublesome last room when we really weren’t. Once again they canceled my reservation. Did not get a hold of me at all and then charged me extra on a double event weekend in Portland. Absolutely pathetic and when I asked who I could get a hold of who was higher than them none of them gave me any response responses. 10/10 would not recommend. I still have not been refunded nor has there been any apology or email sent to me.
