The hotel is clean, with great staff. The gym on site is actually fantastic for a hotel gym. All technogym equipment and spacious layout. Breakfast buffet each morning was fantastic and the location is pretty great as far as walking around and exploring.

During our stay we had to use a wheelchair, unfortunately there were stairs to every entrance, no ramps available also getting to the dining room entailed stairs without ramps. I have to say the reception staff were excellent as was the chambermaid

Perfect location facing Lake Como. Clean rooms. Staff were pleasant and professional. Very small elevators 😀..so used the stairs. Breakfast each day was included which was ok as the selection was the same for the 5 days we were there. Still recommended. Great location.

Staff and hotel was lovely perfect location! But we wasn’t told when we checked in that there was a daily charge for parking! When checking out we received a bill for 25 euros a day for using there carpark!! In all my years of traveling and the numerous hotels I have stayed in I have never been charged for using there carpark!! Absolutely disappointed in this! This service should be free to all guests staying at this hotel and clearly explained when booking to get there is a charge!

Overall excellent hotel and service. My only issue is with the hotel parking, I was charged €100 euros for parking at the hotel, I was told if I had booked my stay directly with the hotel it would have been free. Not happy with the unfair charges from Expedia.

The Garden had great food and drink options. Unfortunately when we were there the pond in the front of the hotel was disgusting looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. We ended up mentioning something and the next day they were cleaning it.

This property is in a great location. Easy access to ferry which is literally right across the street! Dining & shopping within a couple of streets. The hotel has a great breakfast. The property itself can use a little updating. I also was surprised that we never received a wash cloth in the room. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that did not offer a wash cloth. I also left the empty box of tissues on the bed hoping to get it replaced with a new box but never received a new one. These might be small inconvenience’s but it is something that shouldn’t be overlooked when in the service industry.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in May 2025. The room and service were very good. We paid extra for a balcony view over the lake, which was great except for the fact that part of the lake enters the hotel property and acts as a litter and debris trap for the whole lake. The hotel staff let this fill with rubbish and did not clean it. Spoilt the view and our impression of the hotel and its staff.

They said they could turn it off from the front desk to my room, but it did not help. Sleeping was difficult as I prefer the room chilly. That was the only downside to the stay. I should have opened the balcony door, but wasn’t sure about street noise. Everything else was great!

It’s a nice hotel with some charm and character but the price really is for the location overlooking the lake. I was slightly disappointed with our room because I booked the lake view room and there are actually a number of big trees in front of the hotel in the property that block the view so in reality you are paying for a partial lake view.

We had a lake view room which was comfortable, if small and ‘tired’. Although this may well have been a palace at one point, the hotel is now long past its prime. Breakfast was fine. Would not recommend nor would I stay here again.

A beautiful, classic hotel. Very friendly staff and an excellent buffet breakfast was included in the price. On our last morning they kindly provided a very nice packed breakfast for us as we had to leave before 7 am. Just one negative point - we booked a lake-view room and our view was of the car parking area. Photo attached !

Our large, clean an modern room appeared to have been recently refurbished. It had a large bathroom with shower and huge tub. Maid service was excellent, with clean towels and bedding as we required. We stayed at The Palace during a very hot spell so were glad for the efficient air conditioning. We made use of the well-equipped gym. The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially on reception. A full complimentary continental breakfast was served in a beautiful, ornate breakfast room overlooking the lake. Again the staff were excellent.

El hotel se anuncia con habitaciones superiores las cual reserve y por las fotografias parecian estar en el edifico principal que aparece en la foto y resulta que la habitación superiro que reserve estaba en un anexo del hotel, bastante impersonal y fue decepcionante qudarnos en esa extensión ya que claramente no forma parte del edificio central que tiene hermosas vistas desde las ventanas y que todo parecia indicar que las habitaciones de mayor categoria tambien se encontrarian en el edifcio central.

This is a wonderful hotel. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is perfect for enjoying the city of Como and the lake. The front desk staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived to the hotel and asked for an upgrade because we needed a bed/room for a extra person. They mentioned they didn’t have one so we came upstairs to find a room in another hotel for the extra person and they started acting treating us like criminal mentioning that they were going to call the police and things like that. They didn’t treat us like guests, but like felons. Terrible staff named Alessandro and another bold person (I don't remember his name) that was also very disrespectful with my 65 year-old father.

I absolutely loved my room. I loved this location. I have absolutely no complaints except for two small things that would not preclude me from staying here again. 1. Being a VIP member I received a one time 20% discount for food at this properties restaurant. Unfortunately, when I checked in, I was not told that it was only specific to one of their restaurants. I was not feeling a very big meal so I went to their smaller little restaurant garden bar, and when I went to pay, I was told that it did not count there. It wasn’t the biggest deal, but it would’ve been nice to be aware of that upon check-in. If I would’ve known, I would’ve forced myself to go to the other restaurant and maybe just not order a lot of food. 2. I had the most amazing view. I loved it so much. It did look toward the little bar/garden restaurant and they played some awesome music but sometimes while getting ready for bed it was a little bit on the loud side. The bonus was, though that it did not last all night Overall, I would give this property a 10 out of 10.

Property has excellent location near ferry docks and ComoLago train station. Lots of great shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.

Location perfect and staff friendly and very helpful. Staff could have warned us that taxis were not easy to get and so we missed our train to Milan.

The only complaint about this hotel, and this might be my imagination, but it seemed to be difficult for taxis to get to it. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of great restaurants in easy walking distance. I’d stay here again

Great location. Rooms were modern. Staff is very helpful and friendly and always greet with a smile. Easy parking on site. Just a few min walk to the centre of Como and the ferry terminal and train station

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are spotless and super comfortable with fantastic views. We love the hotel and the location is excellent. The staff and service are great. We had a very delicious dinner at the restaurant and breakfast buffet was amazing.

Amazing stay! Wonderful and very helpful staff throughout the hotel. Impeccable property conditions. And it is located at a very convenient area. Ferry station is in front of the hotel. Very delicious and varied breakfast. We loved our stay! Grazie!

Location and high quality hotel right in Como. Busy street but the closed windows make it literally soundproof at night, if you want that. Beds are crisp cottons and extras like robes and slippers are perfect. Breakfast buffet is outstanding! But restaurant suppers - we had 2- are just ok compared great restaurants nearby.

What can I say!! This hotel was amazing , the staff , the amazing champagne breakfast, the room size . The staff it was so good and I have stayed in a lot of hotels ! Daniele was so helpful and so was Fabrizia!

The staff did not advise us properly about the ferries. We were unable to get tickets for the ferries several times because they were sold out and missed tour times for Villas. They recommended we take a bus but were unaware that the bus wasn’t running because the road outside of the stations are closed. It was quite a nightmare, and they were unaware of the problems. Next, on the day we were leaving the hotel I asked for a taxi to go to the train station and they told me to come 15 minutes before I needed the taxi because they could not pre book one for us. When I came back they informed me they could not get a taxi and said they could order their driver to take me but would charge me a private car for. The fee was twice as much as a taxi. They told us to go wait outside in the back but the driver didn’t arrive for another 5 min so we were outside in the heat. I would not go to this hotel again.
