Interesting hotel in this location. Staff very friendly and helpful and always someone available. Good choice of places to eat very nearby. Very secure at night, when the huge wooden doors to the courtyard, a shopping area during the day, are closed. Access by ringing doorbell, promptly answered. Breakfast was fine but fairly basic - again very nice staff Not suitable hotel if you have mobility issues - big flight of stone stairs up to reception on the first floor.

The building is quite old and the stairs a bit precarious. The rooms and bathrooms are in need of a refresh. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. Location is excellent.

Old style hotel, modern wifi (wifi6). AC worked very well. 24 hour reception which was very helpful, to ask for extra pillows, toiletpaper or towels. Also have us good directions for the subway.

Hotel bem localizado, porém informa erroneamente que tem estacionamento ("As opções de estacionamento no local incluem uma garagem e uma cobertura"). Isso leva o hospede em erro, sendo que a propriedade está em ZTL e é impossível chegar de carro sequer na frente do hotel (o mais próximo que chega de carro deve dar quase 100m). Nesta parte é péssimo. O estacionamento mais próximo fica a pelo menos 10 minutos (impossível levar as malas do estaciomaneto ao hotel - tem que parar o mais perto possível e deixar as malas). O estacionamento indicado na recepção (Via Nunziatella, 2-4 Garage) nos esfolou (50EUR - uma noite). Quase mais caro que a estadia no hotel. O hotel é confortável. Quarto bom, limpo. Banheiro grande, box pequeno, limpesa mais ou menos. Ambiente muito bom no geral. Atendimento ótimo. Alguns mimos aos hóspedes. Iria novamente, atendo para a questão do estacionamento (NÃO TEM ESTACIONAMENTO).

Review from an American couple: The property is in a dated building and requires the travel of 4-5 stories of stairs. There is a tiny outdated elevator but I would rather take the stairs. The employees were very nice and the room was indeed charming and had a traditional European look to them. The bathroom was nice and the room itself was fine, but the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. The AC created a very unpleasant smell when it ran and inflamed my wife and I’s allergies immediately. The location in town feels safe and has multiple shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, the experience was okay.

We absolutely loved the location. We felt safe, It was walking distance to most of the sites we wanted to see. There is a train stop not too far away called Toledo. We actually saw many of the things we wanted to see while walking back to the hotel from the street. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was just what we need to start our day. We would definitely stay here again. The room was perfect size and had a small balcony to look out. The front door was not immediately recognizable, but the address it clearly marked and all you have to do at night is ring the doorbell on the left and you will be buzzed in through the small door which is an access through the large arched doors. The doors are open during the day and all you have to do is walk through to the stairs or elevator to the right. The building is terracotta colored with white balconies.

We arrived at night and couldn’t find the hotel. I finally had to call after pushing our suitcases up and down the street. They close the door at night and there’s no signage. Some members of the staff were very helpful with advice.

If you are planing to arrive in a rental there is no parking nearby ( 1/4 mile) from the hotel, so beware those who travel with large luggage. But the worst thing was my my wife and daugther wake me up at 3.00am because the bed was infested with bed bugs.... the personnel change our room but I personally couldnt get a good rest this night

Sehr gute Lage im Herz von Neapel, in einem typischen Gebäude (der anfängliche Eindruck ist nicht überwältigend), Zimmer sind jedoch gut ausgestattet und in Ordnung. Schimmel im Bad könnte man ev. behandeln. Personal sehr hilfreich, Frühstück recht gut, bei etwas beschränkten Platzverhältnissen. Gutes wifi.

Situato in posizione centrale ma con il parcheggio esterno avvisato telefonicamente la sera prima, al mio arrivo al mattino non c'era piu posto, fortunatamenteho trovato un'altro nelle vicinanze; hotel molto pulito,ottima colazione, peccato l'idromassaggio non funzionante, staff gentilissimo ,....è un luogo dove portare amici,parenti e.....non solo....è stato il commento del proprietario, che non conoscendoci mi ha dato fastidio, forse perché eravamo andati a Napoli davanti a San Gennaro a fare le promesse x il nostro matrimonio....ma....che dire....buona permanenza ai futuri ospiti!!!!

Hotel in posizione strategica e centrale situato al primo piano di un palazzo storico. Accoglienza e servizio ottimi, colazione anche (pastiera ottima). La stanza è da migliorare per recuperare quei difetti di una struttura costruita decenni fa.

Hotel senza eccessive pretese nel centro della città, prossimo a tutte le mete turistiche, molto silenzioso, personale gentile e molto disponibile alle richieste degli ospiti. Prima colazione adeguata al livello della struttura. Hotel pulito, ordinato. Facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione con i mezzi pubblici (metro)

I would never recommend this "hotel" to anyone except an enemy. The price was high for a small uncomfortable room where the maid couldnt even clean the floor properly. Even was "wakeup" call was late. One had to ask for coffee or it wouldnt be provided for breakfast. The front desk was somewhat negative. One man was friendly, but a woman acted as though I was doing her a favor. The air condiitoning continue to go out and I had to notify the front desk.The room was quiet, though, and that is a high priority on my list. There were no distrubances from neighbors.

Situato nel pieno centro turistico di Napoli, a due passi da Piazza del Plebiscito e da Via Toledo, l'albergo dispone di camere comode e dotate di ogni confort (TV, climatizzatore, frigobar, vasca con idromassaggio e doccia, wifi e cassetta di sicurezza gratuiti). La struttura è ben tenuta e la pulizia ineccepibile. Buona l'insonorizzazione. Ottima la colazione a buffet provvista di ogni ben di Dio: dolce, salato, frutta fresca. Personale gentile e disponibile ad ogni ora. Atmosfera elegante e familiare. Assolutamente consigliato.

Excellent location, but very small room The hotel is in a fantastic location — right in the heart of Naples, close to everything. It's a great option for couples, as the space is quite limited. We were traveling with our 13-year-old daughter, and they placed a small single bed at the foot of ours, which made the room feel even tighter. The room was clean and nicely decorated, but definitely too small for three people. Breakfast was just okay — not bad, but nothing special. Charming hotel in an excellent location within walking distance to everything. Overall clean and all the amenities. The rooms are a little small but to be expected in European hotels. Ikke pengene værd. Værelse uden vindue og lys. Blot en dør ud til en lille lukket baggård. Så værelset var meget mørkt. Sengen var hård og der var ingen ekstra hovedpuder - dem måtte vi bede om. Ingen telefon dækning på værelset - så hvis du skal ringe fra din mobil, skal det gøres på gaden eller deres fastnet telefon kan anvendes. Meget lydt og megen støj. TV kan ikke skifte til engelsk tekst eller tale - så du er båndlagt til italiensk :) Morgenbuffeten var ikke noget at skrive hjem om.

Preis/leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht ( 200 Euro pro Nacht). Zimmer und Badezimmer sehr klein, Matratze sehr hart, Kissen sehr dünn, decke genauso das man mit undichten Fenster die sich nicht schließen lässt, sehr kalt nachts gewesen. Frühstück besteht nur überwiegend aus Süßes Backwaren und am zweiten Tag sogar die Kaffeemaschine nicht funktioniert. Das alle schlimmste ist das man nicht schlafen kann weil das Zimmer genau ganz dicht auf das benachbarte Restaurant ( davon mehrere) und bis kurz nach Mitternacht sehr laut war. Ab 6 Uhr morgens ging das ganze Lärm wieder los. Nein ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen!

Review from an American couple: The property is in a dated building and requires the travel of 4-5 stories of stairs. There is a tiny outdated elevator but I would rather take the stairs. The employees were very nice and the room was indeed charming and had a traditional European look to them. The bathroom was nice and the room itself was fine, but the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. The AC created a very unpleasant smell when it ran and inflamed my wife and I’s allergies immediately. The location in town feels safe and has multiple shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, the experience was okay.

What I liked: Fantastic location with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby, close to the Spanish quarter and to the Palace and harbor ! Great coffee at breakfast! What I didn’t like was the following: The Room is a little shabby and does not appear to have been painted in a long time! The room we had was next to the bar/kitchen area and we were woken up early every morning as you could hear everything through the thin walls! No mirror or hot water kettle in the room. Not enough outlets in the room. Noisy A/C. No view as the room overlooked a roof with barred windows! The breakfast was less than basic, the only hot food item they had was hard boiled eggs, which is perfectly fine except if you did not get there in time and they ran out then they did not boil any extra and you were told that there are no more eggs! Minuscule selection of cheese and cold cuts, lots of pastries and breads though!

We were traveling with our 13-year-old daughter, and they placed a small single bed at the foot of ours, which made the room feel even tighter. The room was clean and nicely decorated, but definitely too small for three people. Breakfast was just okay — not bad, but nothing special. Overall, a good option for a short stay if you're a couple and want to be in the center of it all.

This is our second time staying here and we are already looking forward to next year. The location is great you can do so many things in the surrounding area but what makes it perfect is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so friendly. The breakfast is lovely and plentiful and really sets you up for a day exploring Naples. Do not hesitate to stay here.

I would never recommend this "hotel" to anyone except an enemy. The price was high for a small uncomfortable room where the maid couldnt even clean the floor properly. Even was "wakeup" call was late. One had to ask for coffee or it wouldnt be provided for breakfast. The front desk was somewhat negative. One man was friendly, but a woman acted as though I was doing her a favor. The air condiitoning continue to go out and I had to notify the front desk.The room was quiet, though, and that is a high priority on my list. There were no distrubances from neighbors.

We absolutely loved the location. We felt safe, It was walking distance to most of the sites we wanted to see. There is a train stop not too far away called Toledo. We actually saw many of the things we wanted to see while walking back to the hotel from the street. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was just what we need to start our day. We would definitely stay here again. The room was perfect size and had a small balcony to look out. The front door was not immediately recognizable, but the address it clearly marked and all you have to do at night is ring the doorbell on the left and you will be buzzed in through the small door which is an access through the large arched doors. The doors are open during the day and all you have to do is walk through to the stairs or elevator to the right. The building is terracotta colored with white balconies.

La valutazione positiva basata sul fatto che è un tre stelle con un prezzo decente, in una zona ben messa, all’inizio di via Toledo vicino al mare (5min a piedi) e piazza plebiscito e il teatro San carlo. I’ve stayed here twice in the single room (which, happily, is more like an American “full” sized bed vs just a twin). I stayed here just one night each time because I needed to catch the ferry the next day to Capri. The service is helpful, the breakfast has all the basics, and it’s walking distance (12 mins) to the ferry departure point. If you’re a budget traveler and just need a classic, comfortable hotel, this is a great option. Nothing too fancy, very old school, everything is in order. I like the vintage charm. Good google options very close to the hotel and Gambrinus cafe/pastry shop is not to be missed.

The service is helpful, the breakfast has all the basics, and it’s walking distance (12 mins) to the ferry departure point. If you’re a budget traveler and just need a classic, comfortable hotel, this is a great option. Nothing too fancy, very old school, everything is in order. I like the vintage charm. Good google options very close to the hotel and Gambrinus cafe/pastry shop is not to be missed.

La valutazione positiva basata sul fatto che è un tre stelle con un prezzo decente, in una zona ben messa, all’inizio di via Toledo vicino al mare (5min a piedi) e piazza plebiscito e il teatro San carlo. La colazione andrebbe migliorata nella qualità dei prodotti. Personale cordiale. La nostra stanza era ampia, con decori un po’ antiquati (come turista si potrebbe dire folcloristico storico :)

This hotel is located in a lively area with shops and restaurants. The staff here is wonderful - very helpful and kind. The delicious breakfast consists of fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, and cappuccino. We enjoyed our stay very much.

El lugar está en el corazón de 1 a céntrica que en realidad para lo que fue bien Chora en el punto nomás estuve básicamente para estar cerca del puerto entonces sólo eso fue digamos como lo rescatable pero no sé a lo mejor si no hubiera habido tanto ruido un menú diferente y hubiera puesto una calificación

To start checked into room and looked to be sure things were the way they should be and the refrigerator had things in it that was already open. I let them know right then and he acted like it was no big deal but it is because that means the cleaning was not done right he did take care of that. That night the air conditioning never did cool down so I told them about it the next morning and was told it would be fixed got back that night and still did not work so another night without and was told they would move us they next morning we had to leave very early so had to move when we got back witch we did but that room did not do much better for ac and was smaller got up next morning and the shower did not work could not get water out of the shower head so had to use a little buckit we had with us again we told them and was told they would fix it got back that night not fixed next morning just used the bucket again because we were leaving that morning. All this time the person just acted like it was no big deal. Forgot one thing the first thing they mested up was our laundry but they did fix that problem. Never the less when we go back it will not be there. Bud
