The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure professional service. Great location, and well worth the price if you are looking for clean and modern accommodations while staying in a beautiful and historic city. The rooftop bar view of Rome is also spectacular.

Epic fail in all ways. I arrived very early at 9:00am and yes I know that check in is at 3pm but I offered to pay extra for an early check in. But they said I had to wait. So I waited upstairs then waited in the bar area and then in the lobby- the hotel was fairly empty- I did see a few others check in after me and they got access to their room before I did. I feel like that shouldn’t happen and if so that they then at least give me an update on my room status - I was traveling for over 20 hours. Once I finally got into my room, the lights didn’t work. You could tell this room was used recently. The poor bellman ran up and down changing the keys 3 times to get the lights to work. Management called me and said they would figure it out. I fell asleep and woke up 3 hours later still with no electricity. I called down and they said they forgot. Once I hung up they finally switched the lights on. Unbelievable. You should also know that elevators are very very slow, and the front desk at check out is very very slow. And on top of it they tried to charge me over 100€ more than what I booked on Expedia. My rate was 308.18 € and at checkout they were charging me 429€. They were confused and not sure how to handle. I told them to figure it out and email me with the correct bill. Location is great, but inside the hotel is very noisy because the hallways are all marble and you can hear everything plus the doors slamming. The bellman and the gym were the only positive to this property.

We arrived Friday evening and the staff were excellent you can’t fault them. We got upgraded to the top floor and deluxe suite but it turned out to be a disadvantage. Right above us was the rooftop bar and there was a movie event on. We went up and could swear to god that steven Spielberg was standing there. Anyway, got told we had to go back downstairs. As for the room it was spacious for Rome just very noisy with the movie event on above us then outside our door led to the lifts from the rooftop so it got very noisy The shower… imagine the scene in Elf where he’s trying to wash in the small showers and you get the idea Can’t fault it other than that. Great staff, location is superb

WE just love this hotel. We have stayed 4 times in the last couple years. We've brought big groups which they handle nicely and small groups the same! The rooftop is beautiful and the staff is wonderful especially the concierge who are super helpful and friendly. See you in September.

Beautiful hotel. Easy to walk to many things. Our favorite meals were less than a 10 minute walk. Taxi outside ready to take us wherever we needed to go. Breakfast was delicious. Rooftop over looks the city for a night quiet night. The staff very friendly.

We purchased 2 nights for 2 junior suites. The a/c of both rooms did not function properly and we could not cool down the rooms. We communicated this to the reception and management and requested to be changed to other rooms with no success. We paid a high rate and we feel we should be compensated. Also one of the rooms when we first went in was not clean, smelled bad , rugs with stains, and bed duvet dirty ( took pictures) .

Excelente localização, a equipe excelente, quarto com bom tamanho e confortável, banheiro bom tamanho e limpo. O café da manhã além da odisseia para descobrir o lugar, os omeletes entre outras coisas são cobradas Parte(pra um hotel desse nível deixa a desejar).

After spending a week in Italy, we ended in Rome. Since this is an autograph Marriott hotel, we thought it would be just fine. Three rooms, documented pictures, and videos with their cleaning staff of bugs in the mattresses. There were complaints and reports of bedbugs in this hotel from June. The house manager refused to speak to us and relied on his staff in the front to deal with it. There are many options to stay in Rome, my advice is not to stay here

Property was very nice. Rooms were very clean. Housekeeping did a great job in room daily. The gentlemen at concierge desk were extremely helpful. Mario was a bell boy and we loved him! Great place to stay and highly recommend.

Mega god beliggenhed - jeg havde ingen WI-FI på mit værelse. Selvom jeg havde sagt det flere gange til receptionen skete der ikke mere ved det. Virkelig træls uden internet nå man forventer et top hotel. Mit værelse lå et dårligt sted så jeg kunne høre alt fra gangen. Eller fint hotel

Great hotel at a great location, conveniently located in front of a subway station and right next to a "Hop On Hop Off" bus stop if you are touring the city. One minor detail is that if you get a room with a terrace, you can hear guests from other rooms when they are in the terrace area. This was not a problem for me because the other guests were great and kept the noise to a minimum, but it could be a problem if you are looking for a super quiet room.

This is not a 5star Luxury hotel. My kids changed their room two times as wifi was not working in those rooms. We had to change our room as well as it was very hot in the room as A/C was not working in the hotel. The breakfast does not worth the price you pay.

To start, our room smelled like raw sewage. Certainly a plumbing issues. They did not take care of it despite multiple calls. Then, at checkout, we noticed massive undisclosed additional charges, increasing our rate by fifty percent. They claimed room was for one person and you had two individuals. Having stayed with Marriott for over 30 years, rooms are per always priced per night based on double occupancy. We did not exceed occupancy and we did not have breakfast included. They refused to adjust.

We booked a signature a room , we asked for Diffrent room the front desk downgraded our room to a worse room , the door between rooms was literally em next to the bed , we asked for Queen bed we received twin beds We put the sigh to clean the room since morning , came 4 Pm still no one cleaned , even they gave our room to another client by mistake Asked for coffe for minibar they showed up after I called 3 times 70 min after When I claimed simply said sorry and it’s weird , Concierge was good other than That everything was bad

Epic fail in all ways. I arrived very early at 9:00am and yes I know that check in is at 3pm but I offered to pay extra for an early check in. But they said I had to wait. So I waited upstairs then waited in the bar area and then in the lobby- the hotel was fairly empty- I did see a few others check in after me and they got access to their room before I did. I feel like that shouldn’t happen and if so that they then at least give me an update on my room status - I was traveling for over 20 hours. Once I finally got into my room, the lights didn’t work. You could tell this room was used recently. The poor bellman ran up and down changing the keys 3 times to get the lights to work. Management called me and said they would figure it out. I fell asleep and woke up 3 hours later still with no electricity. I called down and they said they forgot. Once I hung up they finally switched the lights on. Unbelievable. You should also know that elevators are very very slow, and the front desk at check out is very very slow. And on top of it they tried to charge me over 100€ more than what I booked on Expedia. My rate was 308.18 € and at checkout they were charging me 429€. They were confused and not sure how to handle. I told them to figure it out and email me with the correct bill. Location is great, but inside the hotel is very noisy because the hallways are all marble and you can hear everything plus the doors slamming. The bellman and the gym were the only positive to this property.

WE just love this hotel. We have stayed 4 times in the last couple years. We've brought big groups which they handle nicely and small groups the same! The rooftop is beautiful and the staff is wonderful especially the concierge who are super helpful and friendly. See you in September.

Le personnel du restaurant the flair a un comportement incroyable! Je n’ai jamais vu ça dans un 5etoiles!desagreable,ils prennent vos assiettes avant d’avoir fini, nous apporte un tartare de thon avec du concombre nous lui disons que la personne est allergique il nous repond agressivement « c’etait ecrit sur la carte» alors que pas du tout!!il reprend l’assiette en etant super enervé… et apres le plat nous dit la cuisine est fermée!donc pas de dessert! L’accueil, le comportement des serveurs et l’attitude sont à revoir depuis le début! Je ne comprends vraiment pas la recommandation du guide michelin…

What a great place to stay in Rome. All the tourist sites are within walking distance. Lots of shopping and dinning options around the hotel. Friendly and However, No iron and ironing board in the room was a big inconvenience. They provided handheld Steam iron which was not ideal to press the clothes. No microwave in the room also.

Great hotel at a great location, conveniently located in front of a subway station and right next to a "Hop On Hop Off" bus stop if you are touring the city. One minor detail is that if you get a room with a terrace, you can hear guests from other rooms when they are in the terrace area. This was not a problem for me because the other guests were great and kept the noise to a minimum, but it could be a problem if you are looking for a super quiet room.

Excelente localização, a equipe excelente, quarto com bom tamanho e confortável, banheiro bom tamanho e limpo. O café da manhã além da odisseia para descobrir o lugar, os omeletes entre outras coisas são cobradas Parte(pra um hotel desse nível deixa a desejar).

Beautiful hotel. Easy to walk to many things. Our favorite meals were less than a 10 minute walk. Taxi outside ready to take us wherever we needed to go. Breakfast was delicious. Rooftop over looks the city for a night quiet night. The staff very friendly.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure professional service. Great location, and well worth the price if you are looking for clean and modern accommodations while staying in a beautiful and historic city. The rooftop bar view of Rome is also spectacular.

We arrived Friday evening and the staff were excellent you can’t fault them. We got upgraded to the top floor and deluxe suite but it turned out to be a disadvantage. Right above us was the rooftop bar and there was a movie event on. We went up and could swear to god that steven Spielberg was standing there. Anyway, got told we had to go back downstairs. As for the room it was spacious for Rome just very noisy with the movie event on above us then outside our door led to the lifts from the rooftop so it got very noisy The shower… imagine the scene in Elf where he’s trying to wash in the small showers and you get the idea Can’t fault it other than that. Great staff, location is superb

I thought it was a very clean, modern, well maintained property in a great location. Very walkable to major attractions and very friendly and accommodating staff. Enjoyed the lobby and rooftop bars and appreciated the rooftop restaurant for lunch and dinner. I thought the restaurant menu was very creative, infusing Japanese flavor and style into some dishes. Breakfast was very familiar and comforting. I look forward to returning.

I had a junior suite and it was very nice. The service was good. A fowl smell came from the shower drain the last two days and the hallway smelled like there was a sewage problem. (top floor) I reported it and they were very thankful and on it immediately, unknowing. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. It needs a little facelift for the price, but very nice. Great history. Lovely.
