We chose this place primarily because there was not a lot of choices. But it stood out because it had a workout room. We were disappointed that none of the 3 arobic machines were operational. This an older hotel but it is clean and as a bonus had a washer and dryer in the room. I would stay there again.

1 BR queen, with sofa bed in large sitting area, full kitchen and fridge. Sofa bed was bad, thin mattress, could feel springs. Had to ask for sofa bed sheets etc but no problem getting them. Shuttle service good, must reserve in advance. Walkable to sights in town though a little further than other downtown hotels. Helpful and friendly staff. Value about average for pricey Juneau in summer.

Good location very near downtown and they have a complimentary shuttle service for the airport or ferry terminal! This property is a GREAT VALUE if you don't want to pay for premium lodging. The suites have a full kitchen and laundry in the room which was super convenient. The walk to a grocery store is only about 10 minutes. Tip: If you stay here be sure to walk to the waterfront park with the wonderful whale sculpture and fountain. It has amazing water views and is only 1/2 a block away. We stayed here and didn't need to rent a car. Note this is not a luxury property, the furnishings are basic but comfortable, there is a lot of room, and everything was very clean. Service was spot on, quick to check me in and out.

check in and check out was quick and easy. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. The driver who picked us up at the airport was very helpful and even waited patiently for us when we had to go back to the gate to retrieve an item we left on the plane. We will definitely recommend this to other people and would stay there again. The only negative was that the kitchen was very sparingly equipped. There needs to be more cups, plates, bowl, pots and pans, silverware, etc.

I liked the room having a kitchen and laundry. We saved money by cooking our own meals and doing our own laundry. It was within walkable distance of town. I loved the little park with the whale statue and the boardwalk path. Staff was friendly and would get us extra supplies as needed. There was free transportation to the airport. It was a very comfortable stay!

Has 24 hour desk, easy walking distance to town, apartment like accomodation with washer/dryer, cooking and dishwasher. Shuttle is good service, but has limited access. Didn't particularly like Faux News Channel on lobby TV.

Hotel is probably typical of Alaska with somewhat dated and sparse furnishings and design. The hotel is a bit removed from downtown and has no breakfast available. However, there is a nearby grocery that serves a modified breakfast buffet and the walk into downtown is less than a mile. Very important was the fortuitous discovery of an airport shuttle (not well advertised by the hotel) because we arrived after 10:30 and there are few if any taxis (no Ubers) available in Juneau at the time.

It all started with exceptional service from Jeremy. Sent the airport shuttle to us in 5 minutes to bring us to the hotel, snappy check in and were set. The property is right on the edge of town, with a grocery store across the street. Can do the easy sidewalk to town, but the bay sidewalk along side the water much prettier. Once inside, room much much larger than ever expected and fully equipped with snow capped mountain views. Spotless.

Rooms were super clean, new carpeting, comfortable beds. Great location to the harbor and walking distance to downtown. Nearby IGA grocery store, nearby coffee shops. Hotels in Juneau are higher priced but this was less than the competition nearby.

Rooms were spacious, however the ceiling fans were dirty as were the baseboards. Of the 4 table lamps only 1 had a light bulb, & 1 lamp was damaged. Otherwise, the bathroom was clean, the kitchen clean, & bedding was fresh & clean. It was close to the airport but the shuttle advertised is shared with other hotels. It wasn't advertised that reservations were needed for the shuttle. Woukd NOT stay there again. Also no restaurants nearby.

Our room was not ready when we arrived, we had to wait almost 1/2 hour because it was not clean yet. The bathroom did not have any hooks or bars to hang towels on which was frustrating.

1st time staying here. Good rooms and I was happy with them having Actual Movie Channels. Once u see where u can park, it gets a little bit better. Was nice to have a Washer and Dryer in the rooms, but no matter what we did our washer was always hot. The shower curtain had a Moldy smell to it and they don’t clean it room daily. But u can exchange the towels fairly easy. For the Price we paid for just 2 nights, there shouldn’t have been any problems, but there were little ones. I would be open to staying here again

The room was a suite which was a nice surprise. The dirt in the room on the fan, behind the toilet, etc was very noticeable. Though labor is a challenge in Juneau at this time. And the fan was key to my comfort for the night.

Only review i have is clean your fans! And maybe invest in new pillows. Or an extra blanket. Heater wouldnt turn off however maintenance was there next morning and fixed. Thank you. Would recomend to others for overall stay

The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. There is no AC, so they tell you to open the windows…which is fine-unless your window backs up to the main drag like ours did. Noisy all nite long. On top of that, there are no curtains to block out the sun, only blinds which are constantly hitting the window at night while your trying to sleep if ifs the slightest bit windy. So you have to choose between being hot all night or constant noise from traffic or blinds hitting the window.

Great proximitry to cruise ship terminal. Very clean and well maintained older hotel. Like a small apt. with a kitchen and separate BR. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean but furniture was old and a bit uncomfortable, window blinds need to be replaced with ones that function. Noisy, busy traffic area. Bed was acceptable, small and stiff, I would not have wanted to sleep on it more than the one night pre-cruise.

This was a great base for our Juneau vacation. We loved the kitchen and living room space - it was a comfortable place for hanging out when we weren’t sleeping. There is noise from cars outside, especially when the windows were open to help keep the room cool - but I would stay here again for sure! The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was an easy 10 minute walk into downtown Juneau. We loved our stay here!!

After my son and I were unceremoniously booted off Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) because my son had a nervous break down and NCL didn't know how to deal with it, we stayed at the Juneau Hotel. It is within walking distance to downtown. The bed is big and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and include a living room, kitchen and bedroom. We really appreciated the in-room washer and dryer for laundry. The staff was responsive and friendly.

The thermostat in our room was broken so you couldn’t turn down the heat. We had to open windows is what the night auditor said when we inquired about changing rooms. Windows we’re open all night and the noise level was high because it’s next to a bridge with a large incline so cars were very noisy.

Thermostat was broke and room was 80° . Told clerk, he said they’ve known about it for a week. Said he had no more rooms. Told us to open windows and turn ceiling fan on high. Room was next to a busy, noisy bridge. I just had eye surgery and the high heat and fan were unbearable. Worst night in a motel room in decades. Expedia should remove this property.

Called down to the front desk for a plunger... was told "let me look for one" called back 15 minutes later after hearing nothing and was told to come get it from the front desk...Not anything to ruin my stay but how is that customer service?

Arrived early, staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was very large and comfortable, linens were abundant. A very nice place to stay.

Spent a total of 3 nights between another trip. Advertised shuttle service for the airport and ferry was the main issue. First time I called I was rudely told to wait for my bags before calling, then after 5 minutes later retrieving them I call again. After 45 minutes we called again only to find out the one staff person didn’t place the call to order. The gentleman at the front desk handled everything quickly and we were picked up within 15 minutes. The shuttle to the ferry arraigned the night we checked in was cluster when the people who missed their 5 am shuttle took over our scheduled time. Ended up carrying everyone with gear for kayak camping, fishing and other travel in the van with people sitting on top of each other. Had to have someone hold the bags so they would not tumble onto people. Either stand by your shuttle service or don’t offer it.

Called hotel for airport pickup and they seem confused as to picking up guests at airport. Had to call an Uber to get from airport to hotel. Hotel should reimburse customers for Uber costs if they can’t fulfill advertised services

Good location very near downtown and they have a complimentary shuttle service for the airport or ferry terminal! This property is a GREAT VALUE if you don't want to pay for premium lodging. The suites have a full kitchen and laundry in the room which was super convenient. The walk to a grocery store is only about 10 minutes. Tip: If you stay here be sure to walk to the waterfront park with the wonderful whale sculpture and fountain. It has amazing water views and is only 1/2 a block away. We stayed here and didn't need to rent a car. Note this is not a luxury property, the furnishings are basic but comfortable, there is a lot of room, and everything was very clean. I liked the room having a kitchen and laundry. We saved money by cooking our own meals and doing our own laundry. It was within walkable distance of town. I loved the little park with the whale statue and the boardwalk path. Staff was friendly and would get us extra supplies as needed. There was free transportation to the airport. It was a very comfortable stay!

The room was large and plenty big for my family. I did like that. We had trouble checking in. We had to wait 30 minutes for the employee to show up at the front desk to check us in. That is our biggest complaint. It was the middle of the night and we were eager to get some rest.

This is property is a gem! On a solo trip, I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Juneau but I got so much more. Donna and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive. My suite had anything and everything a traveler needs. Coffeemaker + coffee, work desk, comfy couch, big bathroom, perfect fans for hot flashes, great boiler heat for when the hot flashes are over, dishwasher, full-size fridge, washer and dryer. My room had a view of the mountains pkus hustle and bustle of nearby downtown. Cozy for nights in, accessible to tourist areas when feeling adventurous. Shuttle to the airport was icing on the cake. Definitely recommend!!

It’s not downtown Juneau. It’s a 30 minute walk from downtown- a long walk in the rain. No breakfast or any food available. If I was paying $100-150/night it would have ok value but for nearly $300/night, I expected better, a lot better.

This was a great base for our Juneau vacation. We loved the kitchen and living room space - it was a comfortable place for hanging out when we weren’t sleeping. There is noise from cars outside, especially when the windows were open to help keep the room cool - but I would stay here again for sure! The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was an easy 10 minute walk into downtown Juneau. We loved our stay here!!

I like that the hotel is right next to a beautiful public park that features a sculpture of a life-size humpback whale. The park also has great views of water and mountains, and a long boardwalk/walkway.

We were surprised how worn this place was given the high ratings on Hotels.com. Very expensive. Maintenance problem with some leak downstairs. Fire alarm went off at 2am. Also surprised that while advertised as in downtown Juneau it is really a mile from the historic downtown. Industrial surroundings, no food service. Extremely nice staff though.

The hotel is right on a small board walk that is really nice to stroll down day and night. It's also close enough for any able-bodied person to walk into the cruise consumer area for tons of shopping and eating.

We loved this hotel—it felt like an apartment. Having laundry in the room was amazing, and as a family of five we felt like we could really spread out and relax. The full kitchen had what we needed. The hotel was very clean and the staff were super helpful. Location was perfect—we could walk to downtown in about twenty minutes, and there were several great restaurants within ten minutes. I’d definitely stay again!

Rooms were spacious, however the ceiling fans were dirty as were the baseboards. Of the 4 table lamps only 1 had a light bulb, & 1 lamp was damaged. Otherwise, the bathroom was clean, the kitchen clean, & bedding was fresh & clean. It was close to the airport but the shuttle advertised is shared with other hotels. It wasn't advertised that reservations were needed for the shuttle. Woukd NOT stay there again. Also no restaurants nearby.

check in and check out was quick and easy. the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. The driver who picked us up at the airport was very helpful and even waited patiently for us when we had to go back to the gate to retrieve an item we left on the plane. We will definitely recommend this to other people and would stay there again. The only negative was that the kitchen was very sparingly equipped. There needs to be more cups, plates, bowl, pots and pans, silverware, etc.

Our stay at the Juneau Hotel was a perfect way to end our holiday following a 7-day cruise to Alaska. Every room is a suite with its own washer/dryer so it was nice to pack clean clothes for our trip home. The hotel is walking distance to the cruise terminal and offers a free shuttle to the airport. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook your own dinners and breakfast.

Loved walking to the store once I found the beautiful boardwalk along the water. The walk into downtown was a bit further and walkable, but you can also get a Lyft ride for under $10. I wish there were closer places for dinner, since you pretty much had to walk to downtown about 10 minutes, but the Sandpiper cafe was an excellent choice for breakfast and lunch and only a 10 minute walk. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well equipped. Our room was close to a busy street but traffic disappeared at night until around 7 am, and mostly I was never bothered by traffic noise. I’d stay here again.

Hotel is probably typical of Alaska with somewhat dated and sparse furnishings and design. The hotel is a bit removed from downtown and has no breakfast available. However, there is a nearby grocery that serves a modified breakfast buffet and the walk into downtown is less than a mile. Very important was the fortuitous discovery of an airport shuttle (not well advertised by the hotel) because we arrived after 10:30 and there are few if any taxis (no Ubers) available in Juneau at the time.

The room was a suite with a kitchen and living room in addition to the bedroom. It was large and comfortable but definitely very worn.

The hotel advertises that it is in town, but it is a 15 minute walk to downtown. We were lucky to have great weather and the walk along the water was beautiful. The airport pickup and return were a welcomed perk as we had to leave at 5:30 am and were still taken to the airport. The hotel itself was a bit down at the heels. Yes, it has a kitchen, washer and dryer, and a sitting room which can all be very handy. The staff was generally helpful, except for our rather gruff greeting upon arrival that we would not be allowed in to the room until 3 pm. The hotel did not appear to have very many guests and I suspect a room was available at around 12:00 when we arrived.

I would stay here again. The staff were kind and helpful. The full kitchen and laundry in the room was very convenient. The location of the hotel is also convenient while also providing another perspective of juneau. I was able to walk everywhere and even to the two tralheads I visited, one in juneau and the other on Douglas Island. The hotel itself is a bit older and a little worn but that provides it some character and also seems a bit fitting for Alaska. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would visit again.

The front desk clerk was not the friendliest. The shuttle driver was very friendly. I recognize there aren’t many options but for the price the hotel was not worth it. Anywhere else it would have been an $80-100 room at the most … but $350 a night …. Was a rip off.
