the cleaning is terrible, they were also fixing the parking lot and we couldn't find a place to park, they didn't clean the room

I saw homeless people walking around the property. Bad part of town. The day I was there, they were in the middle of repaving the lot. No -parking. The front desk person was very accommodating and gave me a full refund. This is not a safe place to be or park your car...

Dirty and outdated. The pool was green.

221-222-223 bathrooms were all dirty, could not tell if sheets in all 3 of our rooms were clean. broken soap dish and tubs would not drain. shower heads are clogged so only part of the jets worked (needless to say we ended up going to truck stop to shower) had keys programed to one of our rooms (223) re done 7 times. night audit said only boss can change batteries that's why they did not work. we traveled 9 hrs to attend the world baseball series and could not find another hotel within a 2.5 hrs radius of phoenix (only 1 night stay). we would of been better sleeping in our car in an alley than in this place. we had to use our traveling blankets to lay down on the beds (checked for bed bugs and found none. THAT WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE. Pool was advertised as open, and it had a chain around gate. i have tried multiple times to call property management to get a refund and oddly enough manger is never in. the outside trash container on the right side of property has a family of mice living inside. they gave me a good scare.

It was nothing like the pictures showed. The sheets were dirty. The pools are empty and people were in and out of all the rooms all night. It was not a suite at all. There was spilled beer in the refrigerator which was the first thing we saw when putting juice in the fridge for our little one. We thought there was a kiddie pool but not one pool had water in it. This is the very last time I will ever trust Expedia. And when we did not want to stay another night they said we couldn't get a refund because it was through a 3rd party. Expedia just had people that got can't understand or recordings to talk to.

First of all, advertised that they had airport shuttle which turned out not to currently be operating. I mentioned it at check-in and there was no apology offered or any comment whatsoever. The price I paid for this room was ridiculous considering the lack of quality. This felt like a $50 room. On a positive note, I requested a ground floor room which I received.

First they advertised shuttle service on/ from the airport and when I get there I had to walk, second the room was nothing like the advertised!

Very old and run down. Dirty cleaning rags in the room. Paint peeling and tv turned off every 25 minutes. You could hear critters in the walls and ceiling.

This property is disgusting. The room smelled terribly of smoke and cigarettes. It is a run down, dirty and smelly place. Linens are cheap and stained. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything through them between rooms.

Looks like the property is more of a trap house, everything looks dirty, the water gets clogged up, toilets have stains all over, mold in the rooms.

After having a flight delay which necessitated a 3 hour drive to catch my connection, I found myself in need of a hotel on my return trip. Arriving at midnight, I found a door that looked to have been kicked in multiple times (damaged/very badly patched latch), dirty bathroom with black grout, hair on the floor, a very cracked sink, dirty floor/spill by the nightstand, some sort of goo on the lampshade, blue stains on the sheet, various other drywall patches, the towel that was soft smelled like some horrible chemical so I went with the one that was like sandpaper instead. The bathroom door was water damaged and warped and caught on the tile. The drain in the shower was clogged. I mean, what else, I think there were other things and if it hadn't been midnight and traveling alone after an exhausting 20 hour work day, I would have turned right around and tried another hotel. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I was sure I was going to end up with bed bugs. It was the epitome of "flea bag motel". Definitely NOT like the photos and NOT worth $180. They had the nerve to charge a deposit! I feel like the customers are the ones who need to get a deposit for any medical expenses for whatever they may catch from the place!

The parking lot had dog feces everywhere even right in front on my door. Disgusting. The air conditioner in the room was in disrepair, leaking water with an ice bucket to catch the water which also was dripping all over the floor. The room smelled like old cigarettes and mildew and I wasn't even sure I wanted to sleep in the bed. I laid on top of the covers and too be honest I should have just canceled to second night

This is probably the most disgusting motel I’ve stayed at ever! Stained sheets, dirty walls, sink, floors, shower, and a barely functional tv. For $120 it was also a rip off.

Pictures online were nothing like the room we got. Our room looked like they assigned us to it in error. It looked like it was under renovation and being patched to paint. Floor was disgusting. Bathroom sink was pealing. Caked dirt in corners. Towels for one person although a 2 queen bed room. No tissue, no extra toilet paper. I do not recommend and would never return.

We didn’t even end up staying at this run down hooker hotel my wife and I along with my 4 year girl arrived at the location rite away I could tell it was gunna be something that would cause us not to want to stay the place had people hanging around looking like they where up to no good when we first opened the door the first thing I noticed is the light switch didn’t work I tried another light it had no bulb and was broken hanging down pictures where taken then we realized that the bed was not only sloppy made but there where 3 small food stains that where fresh not washed I guess and the pillow case had dirt marks on it the bathroom had hair in the tub and there was a piece of wood as a divider in the room that was not properly installed because it was coming off the wall and so we went to tell the guy at the office he gave me another room and this next room was even worse we walked up the the new room and the door was already opened it to had no light working from the switch when u first walk in the curtain had a big slice in them and the bed we lifted the sheets had a huge yello pee stain on them and there was a exposed electrical wire hanging out the wall to top it off and this next this made us all run from the room there was a huge bed bug that had jumped on to my hand as I was standing by the tv with my hand on the dresser I was able to tell right away it was infact a bed bug I’ve seen them before I took off and thanked the guy at the desk who was very nice and we left

The headboard had the vinyl ripping off that should just be replaced all together. The location was nice because it was very quiet and conveniently located in the city. Less than 20 minutes from amazing fishing spots. Id be back if the room was better put together.

Nice place, maybe need to get new beds, my back was killing me after shelling there, but otherwise it was great!

$176 a night. It’s a motel. The rooms are disgusting. Beds are cheap and plastic and you can’t sleep. Bathrooms are gross. Broken tiles Witt mildew. Broken outlets. No enough towels. Asking for more towels got a “Maybe” from the clerk. They close the lobby at night. So if you check in late, you have to do so while standing outside, alone, 5 feet from the street in a dangerous neighborhood. The walls are paper thin. You can hear entire conversations of your neighbors at regular speaking volume. The parking lot is busted. There is literally nothing redeeming about this dump. And for all this, tbh charge about $200 a night.

It was comfortable

The building looked half done. Cracks everywhere. The locks wouldn’t actually lock. My door wouldn’t fully shut so I had to blockade it.

very disappointed by this property. Old and run down rooms and facilities that were very subpar. Mattress was very uncomfortable. No amenities except a tv and refrigerator and tiny microwave. Bathroom was small and sink had cracks in the basin. Door to room was too short to prevent anything from crawling in and side gaps were significant. One and done for sure!!!!

The room keys would stop working, requiring trips to the desk to have them reset up. The deadbolt on our door didn't work because it doesn't line up with the hole in the doorway. The room toilet would significantly move every time you sit on it. Not just the seat, the whole toilet. They have an ice machine in the lobby but they keep it turned off. They'll tell you where the switch to turn it on is if you ask, but because they keep it off there isn't much ice to get.

Staff unresponsive to requests. Misrepresentation on the website concerning breakfast and amenities.

Our overall stay was good but the receptionist was rude. She needs to be retrained on her customer service skills. Her attitude was uncalled for. She was lucky I didn't jump over that counter and kick her arse!

Property required a deposit, desk person asked for cash. I forgot to ask for the cash back in the morning. When I called the manager asked why I didnt ask for the depoait to be put on a credit card. I wasn't given that option and didn't appreciate being lectured when I dont work there and don't know their policies.

We had a confirmation number. We called from the airport to say the flight was late and we were on our way. They said as long as we got there before the night audit, it would be fine. We got there around 1:30am. Kevin the man on the desk said he had no rooms and had given our room away! He also did NOTHING to help us and cancelled our reservation in front of us. Expedia sucked. Howard Johnson sucked. Wyndham properties who were also contacted for assistance sucked. Overall worst experience ever. Never in all years of travelling has a hotel given away a room when it was reserved and confirmed.

Never got room service for a 3 night stay. One shower towel had a bunch of brown stains on it so I left it on the floor and it was never replaced. Shower drain was covered in hair from previous guest. Key didn’t work 3 times. Had to go to lobby to have them fix it. First time they just gave me a different room. 2nd and 3rd times they reset the key. Guys at front had no customer service skills whatsoever. No apology or anything. Literally didn’t say more than “let me see your key.” The fan to the refrigerator would start and turn off every couple minutes and would make an extremely loud sound when turning off. I had to unplug it during the night which made all of our drinks warm by morning. I never leave reviews but this was an overall very poor experience and definitely won’t be staying at another Howard Johnson hotel again.

Photos are definitely misleading neighborhood is a lil sketchy had a lady in the room arguing and throwing around stuff the room next to us the whole night the only positive I can say is the 2 guys at the front desk were polite and did as much as they could do

I did not stay. The room wasn’t as stated on site. Older room broken fixtures gross microwave. Dingy bathroom don’t take your shoes off anywhere. Didn’t feel safe in the area.

Nice, clean beds with very comfortable pillows and mattresses. Good enough breakfast offerings, though only until 9 am
