Hotel is older but comfortable, and the elevators are quick and the close door button works! Restaurant only serves breakfast, closed the rest of the day. Bar food isn't the best. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance or short drive however. Lobby snack room is self-serve but the prices are very high.

The room was basic and dated, but nice enough. The pool was lovely and there are laundry facilities etc. However, despite multiple requests, no one ever came to make up our room. No new towels, no new soap etc for a family of 5 for 5 nights. We had four towels for 5 people for four nights. Two of the three lifts were also out of action, making getting from your floor to the lobby and vice versa, a 10 minute trip.

The parking sucked. They have most of the parking spaces blocked off due to repairs. It took me forever to find a parking space. The only reason I found one was because someone left at 10 pm. If I am being charged that kind of money to park my car then you better make sure you have enough parking spaces for your customers. I have a handicap parking plaque but those weren't available either. Sucked big time!

Room was dirty. None of the outlets worked, they were all loose and wouldn’t hold a plug unless you used to duct tape to hold it in. Bathroom floor was not clean. You can tell they don’t really clean the nooks and crannies. Beds were tiny

Very dirty. The bathroom tub didn't drain when you showered. No fan or ventilation in the bathroom. Floors were not clean. Musky smell in the room like feet. Not the best place to stay, but no bed bugs so that's nice I guess.

We booked and stayed here for the first and also last time. The only pro is how close is it to the park. This hotel is very low maintenance, carpet smells and musty. Bathroom is very old and tiny, didn’t clean very well from previous guests. Wall is very thin so you can here everything outside and upstairs, we’re light sleepers so we don’t like that. If you’re looking for hotels near the park, there are other better options

I liked how close it was to the convention center. Also the walkability to restaurants and convenience stores was nice. The hotel offered room service pretty much all day with a large variety of food. The only drawback was that the room was really dated and the air vents were caked with dust. The hallways were dim and carpet was old. Beyond that, the place was quiet, room was spacious, and I would possibly come back again in a pinch.

I really hate eating any business poorly, but this hotel was a huge disappointment. We are regular travelers, and I have to say this place was wildly outdated, very dirty, shower head hanging out of the wall, molding caulking along the tub, hair on the sheets, freezer in fridge didn’t work, comforter felt like plastic and it was just all around grubby feeling. To top it off, they don’t offer a breakfast, and they make you pay for parking. Granted I missed that part in the fine print… but I’ve NEVER stayed in a hotel like this. Never again. Ever ever.

The room was smelly, I found pizza stuff in the safe, and hair in the tub. The bathroom was way too small, and the bed made noise every time I moved. The only good thing is the proximity to Disneyland and shops. Wish it had a shuttle to the park though, we were beat at night. No continental breakfast, and vending machines were “sold out”, didn’t have access to drinks in the hotel.

This hotel is great for budget purposes. The hotel did not feel clean. I asked for a new set of sheets because the ones on the bed looked dirty. The sheets overall were very thin and felt worn and old. The towels had hair in them every time I received a new set. The bathroom felt dirty. The hotel is in need of a serious rehab. I like the proximity of the hotel to Disneyland. The staff were great and helpful. I like they have a snack shop in the hotel. I would not return. I can get over a hotel not having the best amenities, I cannot get over a hotel being/feeling dirty. You definitely save money staying with Clarion, but me personally, I don’t mind paying more to stay in a clean space.

The hotel is located in a perfect area for those visiting disneyland. The rooms themselves are outdated. The air conditioning unit in our room was breaking down and made a loud noise every 10-15 minutes throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, the staff was nice and parking was simple enough.

Overall the place was really well with the condition that the beds were full size and not queen as expected, there were papers underneath the bed and a little bit dusty and a couple of areas. Honestly I would’ve preferred queen size beds instead of the full size.

We found that this property was good for the price. It was very affordable (nearly half the cost of properties closer to the park). We found it walkable to Disneyland (about 20 minutes from the park entrance), but if the walking feels like too much, there was also the Toy Story parking lot (and free tram) across the street and public transit right outside the hotel. The room was quiet, large and the beds and linens were comfortable. In general, the property is showing its age. The bathrooms are quite dated, with older/broken tiles, inconsistent water temperature and a bathroom faucet that was stiff and difficult to use. The ice machine on our floor was broken and wall paper was peeling. All of that aside, the condition was somewhat expected given the price point for the hotel and overall the dated nature of the property didn't bother us because we felt it was comfortable and generally clean.

If you’re going to Disneyland - this is a very convenient, no frills hotel. I would not recommend for business travelers. WiFi experience was terrible, parking system unreliable. Just too many hassles when all you want is simplicity and reliability.

The good: Convenient, right next to Anaheim Convention Center, great restaurants within walking distance. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, staff was friendly, parking was easy and not crazy expensive. The bad: WiFi SUCKED. I literally had to walk over to the Hilton next door at 2am to get my work uploaded by deadline. Cell service wasn’t any better. Apparently inside this hotel is a digital black hole. Inside my room I could send texts, but could not hold a signal to talk. And forget about using your phone as a WiFi hotspot. When I went outside in the parking lot I had normal cell service. Go figure.

Hotel was clean and All staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel it self is a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and it’s close to Toy Story Shuttle/parking which was a huge perk for getting to Disneyland park. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for the price. Clean, simple, great location. But we stayed from Tuesday through Saturday and no one ever cleaned our room. We called down and asked Thursday and Friday and still no one came. My husband had to go down to the desk to get towels and toilet paper more than once.

This is our hotel of choice everytime we’re in the area. It’s comfortable and close to everything and we’ve never had any issue until this recent trip. When we checked in the blonde woman at the check in desk was not at all welcoming and very short. Fine. Fast forward to the end of our trip. My husband realized he left his medication and quickly called to notify the hotel. The person who answered ensured they would hold the medication in the fridge for our friend to pick up. The friend arrived and the hotel acted like they didn’t know what she was talking about, we call back and the same person finally realized what we needed. They retrieved the package of the medicine except it was completely EMPTY. The meds were not in the package yet everything else in it was. We have called multiple times to speak with a manager to address this issue and we have been ignored for more than a week now. No accountability or apologies. Super disappointed.

My husband realized he left his medication and quickly called to notify the hotel. The person who answered ensured they would hold the medication in the fridge for our friend to pick up. The friend arrived and the hotel acted like they didn’t know what she was talking about, we call back and the same person finally realized what we needed. They retrieved the package of the medicine except it was completely EMPTY. The meds were not in the package yet everything else in it was. We have called multiple times to speak with a manager to address this issue and we have been ignored for more than a week now. No accountability or apologies. Super disappointed.

It was the most embarrassing moment for everyone. We explained to the front desk, they provided us with a new room. No additional accommodations. Dispite this clerical error, the hotel was average if that is all you need. 5 minute walk to the Convention center for Vidcon.

Great value and location. The shuttle is not a shuttle. Asked the front desk girl about the shuttle. She was not helpful AT ALL. Did not look up from her phone. Asked her to help navigate the app so we could get the shuttle. Still did not look up from her phone. Waited a bit. Asked how to pay for the shuttle. She simply told me to download the app. I am tech savvy and could not figure out much from the app. Probaby the worst front desk experience I've had. Amazing how unwilling she was not to help out.

Your experience at the Clarion Hotel Anaheim will be determined by how well you manage your expectations. I booked through Expedia and got a cheaper rate than the other hotels in the vicinity. + Based on LOCATION alone this was 5 stars for us. We were attending the Pokemon World Championship at the Anaheim Convention Center. The Clarion is as close as the Marriot and Hilton (twice as expensive), the Disney parking lot is right across the street. The Disney resort and walk are at a walkable distance, food grocery, pharmacy everything is accessible by walking. + Staff provides good customer service + For an older hotel, security is good enough. Key card required after 8 pm for entrance + Aircon worked well, for summers this is a non-negotiable for me + If you are a Choice privilege member you can get a late checkout by 1 pm (free to join) Is it an old building with old infrastructure? Yes The rooms and bathrooms reflect that. The suites are big and we got a corner suite with plenty of room, but everything needs renovation and update. Is Security adequate? Probably not, the elevators do not require key card access, this is always a concern for me. Although the staff does its best to control the crowd in the lobby. Another downside is the breakfast isn’t included in the price, it wasn’t a big deal for us but I know for some families it’s a must.

Really nice hotel, you can walk to Disneyland (about 15/20 min walking), if you are lucky you can see the fireworks from your room. They have a very good pizza. The ice machine on my floor was broken and they don’t offer free water.

Hotel is older but comfortable, and the elevators are quick and the close door button works! Restaurant only serves breakfast, closed the rest of the day. Bar food isn't the best. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance or short drive however. Lobby snack room is self-serve but the prices are very high.

We had a great stay at the hotel. It's conveniently located next to the Convention Center and Disneyland, both of which we attended the entire trip. The hotel could definitely use an update which is why I lowered the rating for cleanliness and property condition and facilities. The attached restaurant serves a great buffet breakfast and kids eat free.

Smooth and easy check in and check out. Very helpful customer service. The restaurant staff was exceptional and very helpful. The room was nice with comfortable beds. The only negative thing was the water pressure in the shower. I will definitely stay again because it is good price for the area and had everything I needed for the stay.

This is a good budget hotel if you're visiting Disneyland Resort. The room was clean and quite. Didn't hear noise from other rooms and the doors don't slam shut. Rooms need a little refreshing and it would be nice to have the room serviced at least every 2 days. Would stay again if looking for a reasonable room rate. Access to ART bus is right outside hotel so that's a plus. Breakfast buffet was good value and service was excellent.

Small hotel, but had everything we needed. Staff is great. Breakfast was good. The server, I wished I got her name at night, cocktails were very good and the food was delicious. Even the shuttle drivers to Disneyland were friendly. Everyone did a great job. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Was a great stay. Even though breakfast buffet wasn't included in the stay we had to pay $17.50 per adult and $8.50 for kids 3 and up it wasnt worth it and had to eat it at the restaurant couldnt take it to room. Wish there was more options to pick from. Not worth the money for the buffet.
