Overall experience is a 6 out of 10. Pros: Hospitality was great! Breakfast was good particularly the waffles! Toiletries are provided with no extra cost Cons: Found a few small bugs in the room (Not bed bugs). Ice machine did not work. Bbq did not have propane. Refrigerator smelled like old food.

The staff was very friendly. The only problem is there’s an elevator so if you’re on the second floor, you have to bring your suitcases upstairs.

Great renovated room! The free parking was super tough if you have a large SUV. Staff was really helpful. From the outside and the common areas, it’s rough looking, but the renovated room made up for it!!

The hotel is an older, probably renamed at least once, and is now a a hotel that has rather minimal property amenities but is a good place to stop while passing through Bishop. My room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the room had the air conditioning powerful. Room had a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee maker. All what one would expect. I feel my room, 127 was once flooded, as the flooring, strips of plastic or vinyl were no longer adhering to the floor and were even slightly humped, so with each step, you could feel the files move under my feet. I could even pick up the strips completely off the floor and there was no adhesive at all. The flooring needs total replacement, and I told them so in the office. The breakfast was the minimal, with the feature being two waffle makers. Not much else. Two cold cereals, some bread, some yogurt. Okay, but minimal. The property has seen better days. What appeared to be for former swimming pool area is now a patio deck.

This property is right downtown. The benefit of that is you can walk to a really nice park and there are tons of food choices. We got fresh bread at Erick Schat's Bakery which was fantastic and had a nice dinner at Holy Smoke BBQ. The negative is that there is road noise and the rooms could use some updating. A standard continental breakfast was offered. The ice machine was broken when we were there and my partner did not love the TV offerings. There is a filled in swimming pool that has been turned into an outside courtyard with a BBQ grill. No other amenities. If you just need a place to sleep and use as a gateway for other places, this works. Check out the railroad Museum in Laws if you get a chance, it was really neat for a small town location.

We always spend the night here when going from our winter home to our summer home. They are dog friendly.i asked to be switched to a ground floor room due to my husbands needs and they were able to accommodate us! We love the location near the dog park as well.

Very dirty floors in room and when asked for mop to do myself was told they didn’t have mop. They gave me rags to use to clean floor. Front desk promised room service one day but no one showed up so I emptied trashes daily and got fresh towels once in our 4 day stay.

I didn’t use the room. When I walked in the room wasn't serviced the beds were used like someone was recently in the room. Mold on the ceilings and ants on the a/c unit and beds. I didn’t stay the night I was given ant / roach spray used it and ended up getting sick due to the smell.

Dirty floors, body hair in the shower as well as the bathroom floor I would not walk around the hotel room barefoot no amenities, two towels not even a washcloth door lock wooden bolt correctly homeless digging into the trash cans. Definitely would not stay there again nor feel safe with family.

Our room was extremely dirty. The floor had so much dirt on it as we walked around in our socks they were black on the bottom of them. In the bathtub, the faucet was broken and held together with plastic clips and what appeared to be a plastic bag. The vinyl floor was raising, and as you stepped on it, it would go down about a half an inch to click on the hard floor beneath. We will never stay at that location again. I was surprised that when we looked at the ratings for that hotel it showed a 4.7 out of five. I wonder how that was done! Very unhappy!!

Friendly staff , clean room, good coffee, walkable to good restaurants. Wifi unfortunately is sporadic at best but since most people can access internet via personal cells, not a deal breaker. Sound proof could improve a little, sound people walking on the hallway and all their chats were heard loud and clear. Not much to complain for the price point.

The laminate flooring was not even attached to the floor. It stuck up in many areas. There were gaps between the planks. Very unsafe and possible health hazard!

For a hotel in Bishop, it was decent. But the moderate cost was a bit much. Even with recent renovations, there could still be plenty of things fixed at the property. In the room, the lamp shade was missing, the laminate flooring was bubbling, and the bathroom and room doors slam in the doorways. Walls were very thin, so we could hear cars running in the parking lot and people leaving their rooms and walking past our room. I will probably look for another hotel option on my next trip to Bishop.

The under window air conditioner was so loud we could hardly hear the tv very well. It was hot outside and room wasn’t cool when we got there. Had to run air conditioner for hours to cool room down. Had to turn it off at night because it was just to noisy.

Room was clean n beds were ok. The noise from the 2nd floor was too loud. Foot steps and furniture moving was way too loud. At one point i thought the tenants on the 2nd floor were gonna crash through the ceiling. Will not stay here again.

Very simply, They were rude, sold off our room. Leaving us stranded. We attempted to reach out to hotel and inform them that due to storms and delayed flight we would be arriving the next morning from San Diego. The front desk clerk said it was not his problem. Our next step, we had attempted to contact you, but due to after Christmas volume we could not get through. We arrived in Bishop to find no accommodation available at our hotel. The front desk would not assist.

The front office staff was very friendly and helpful they accommodated us with a down stairs room with parking right at our door my son had hip surgery 1 week before our trip they made sure we were taken csre of and he was comfortable during our stay . I highly recommend this hotel we will be definitely coming back to stay soon .

If felt like the 2nd floor was going to fall in on us. You can also fully hear conversations from the room next door and they were talking in normal voices. The front desk lost our reservations and blamed us and Hotels.com. I really was tempted to sleep in my car but it was too cold. I would never ever consider this property again.

Great room, breakfast and staff. Don’t be deceived by the exterior even though it is average. Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay at.

I will never stay here again. Fridge and hair dryer broken. Manager unavailable at night and at 930am the next morning. He also refused to speak with me over the phone. Staff did not offer refund if I wanted to go to another hotel with working fridge. When hotels.com staff called Dan, manager, he flat out lied to them stating I was offered a refund when I checked in, which NEVER happened.

They should rename this place the poor quality inn. Terrible customer service and a really bad hostile manager. I was traveling with my disabled mother, and we wanted to kick back in the room and enjoy watching some television before we hit the road again and unfortunately the Wi-Fi never worked. You can’t use the smart TV without WiFi so we were screwed after trying to troubleshoot for an hour. The poor front desk guy made bad excuses and then finally connected me to the manager, who told me that nobody should expect good Wi-Fi in that region because of challenging weather conditions. It was only 90° and I said you guys should be able to handle this and why don’t you tell customers about the Wi-Fi problem. He rudely told me that most people don’t spend time in the room in such a great area and shouldn’t expect Wi-Fi. He said maybe it would work later and told me there would be no refunds or apologies.

The hotel is an older, probably renamed at least once, and is now a a hotel that has rather minimal property amenities but is a good place to stop while passing through Bishop. My room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the room had the air conditioning powerful. Room had a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee maker. All what one would expect. I feel my room, 127 was once flooded, as the flooring, strips of plastic or vinyl were no longer adhering to the floor and were even slightly humped, so with each step, you could feel the files move under my feet. I could even pick up the strips completely off the floor and there was no adhesive at all. The flooring needs total replacement, and I told them so in the office. The breakfast was the minimal, with the feature being two waffle makers. Not much else. Two cold cereals, some bread, some yogurt. Okay, but minimal. The property has seen better days. What appeared to be for former swimming pool area is now a patio deck.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very easy to check in when we arrived in the later evening. Small property which made getting around very easy. Just off the main road enough to be quieter but close enough to be walkable to other areas.

This property is right downtown. The benefit of that is you can walk to a really nice park and there are tons of food choices. We got fresh bread at Erick Schat's Bakery which was fantastic and had a nice dinner at Holy Smoke BBQ. The negative is that there is road noise and the rooms could use some updating. A standard continental breakfast was offered. The ice machine was broken when we were there and my partner did not love the TV offerings. There is a filled in swimming pool that has been turned into an outside courtyard with a BBQ grill. No other amenities. If you just need a place to sleep and use as a gateway for other places, this works. Check out the railroad Museum in Laws if you get a chance, it was really neat for a small town location.

We always spend the night here when going from our winter home to our summer home. They are dog friendly.i asked to be switched to a ground floor room due to my husbands needs and they were able to accommodate us! We love the location near the dog park as well.

This hotel claims to include breakfast, but they really shouldn’t. What they offer doesn’t qualify as breakfast by any reasonable standard. There was no protein at all — no eggs, no bacon, no sausage. No fruit, not even a banana or apple. The water wasn’t cold, and there was no ice available. It was honestly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel. If you’re going to advertise breakfast, at least provide the basics. This was incredibly disappointing and misleading.

Their flyer states healthy breakfast and all they had were old oranges , waffles, cereal and stale bread/ bagels . There were two bad oranges in the bowl and when I asked if there was anything fresher the guy looked and said that was all they had for the weekend. For weekends they should stock up. They even had a tour bus coming through so more definitely should’ve been available, they said “hot breakfast” normally we would get eggs, sausage and bacon , plus the waffles at other similar hotels. Few of the young kids working there seemed bothered by us when we said hello or asked questions. Room was ok, air conditioner old and ran every second to keep up. Seemed clean enough to not come home with bed bugs, which was great,

It was fine for the price. Nothing to get excited about, but the room was clean & quiet on the second floor. Breakfast is just bread, with a waffle maker - no eggs or anything hot. Coffee was warm, not hot both mornings. The worker did brew a fresh pot while I was there both days. Overall, it was a stopover point for a Mammoth ski trip. I would stay there again.

One of the main things I look for while traveling for business is a hotel that has a full hot breakfast, not a continental breakfast. I found this hotel and thought I would give it a try. Upon check in, I noticed the breakfast area was quite small, but I figured they might do a larger spread in the morning. Upon getting back to my room after dinner at the Moutain Rambler Brewery (highly advised), I got in my first floor room and noticed I could hear what appeared to be an elephant upstairs. There does not appear to be any sound barrier between upstairs and downstairs. I was finally able to get to sleep. I woke up and was excited to see what the full hot breakfast had in store. Upon arrival, I found that their hot breakfast meant one waffle maker. Their coffee had the same tiny cups as the rooms and did not even provide artificial sweetener. Sure there was bagels and toast and a few dry cereals, but calling this a full hot breakfast was a complete joke. I suggest syaying elsewhere in Bishop and have breakfast at Jacks. The money you save staying elsewhere will surely be will worth it.

This was a good value and a great location for visiting the eastern Sierra Nevada area. Unfortunately they had no functioning wifi for our entire 3-day stay. This was a significant inconvenience as we both needed to do some work while we were there. Other than that I would recommend the hotel.

The AC wss unplugged on arrival. It was about 95 degrees in the room when we arrived. Once it was turned on, it was deafening. The linoleum flooring was buckling in the bathroom. The bed and fridge were the only quality features.

The fact that I have plantar fasciitis and was given a room that was all the way in the back up the stairs I don’t think they even had an elevator didn’t see one wasn’t advised there was one and the first room they gave me stunk so bad like cigarette smoke. I had to go get a different room due to the fact I have bad asthma, but the room was clean. There is a couple of things in that room that were ready to fall apart that need service.
